I've been researching for a good deal for Monitor Light Bar for the last few weeks after seeing how much OzBargainers seem to rave about it. Problem is that many of the good ones seem too pricey for me and I'm not ready to pay more than $100 for my first one. But then I'm also concerned about the quality of the ones that are cheap and not getting many reviews.

So when I found this one on Amazon I'm not too keen to be the first one esp since there's no reviews at all. But since it's Amazon and if there's any issues in quality I can always return it, I thought why not give it a try? It might surprise me. And surprise me it did!

What came in the mail was not just any Generic Monitor Light Bar. This is the latest model of Blitzwolf BW-CML4 which is currently advertised at $105 at Banggood (couldn't find anything on AliExpress)

I installed it last night (very easy to install) and so far it's been working wonders and quality is excellent. Easily connected to the App using Tuya.

Not sure why they advertised it without the brand but hey, I'm glad I got it at a good deal (almost 50% off)

ps: I didnt put Blitzwolf in the title as that's not what they advertised on Amazon but happy to edit if it's not against the rules.

  Not sure why they advertised it without the brand

  Its because blitzw is just a brand, they odered 99% of their products from somewhere else and slap their logo.

  This seller could be:
  Have access to the same manufacturer
  Or the manufacturers made "excess" orders and then sold them.

  Many occasions you will find blitzw produxts on aliexpress, but under different brands, or sometimes without any brand. The stupid thing is they all using the same pictures, wording, specs, etc.

  So yeah i used to like blitzw when they first started they make their own products but not now its just generic

    This alternative looks good. I'm looking for a good monitor light bar for work. No need for fancy RGB background lighting.

    In fact, this almost looks better as it quotes a high colour rendering index (CRI) which the OPs one doesn't.

    Hmm. Which one would be better for work?

    Edit: if the OP post deal is truly the Blitzwolf, then it also has CRI>90

  How weird would it be on a curved monitor specifically AW38?

  I was gonna get a lightbar that is meant to be used on a curved monitor but then i realise curved monitors have different radius…

      I have an Acer 38 which is basically the same. My lightbar looks fine (Quntis), but you do have to angle it slightly further away from the screen so the light doesn't spill onto the screen itself

      How is the light with riser? Does it shine onto the screen in considering its flat vs curve?

        No you can rotate the angle,

        The riser is more so it fits properly on the curve

      Thanks! Unfortunately i already ordered the one from this deal so i'll try first and if it doesn't look good then ill purchase your recommendation!

      Obviously the one from this deal has better features such as aRGB (Razer) compatibility.

    Yes if you must, but looks a bit dorky as too wide for the laptop screen and also might be too heavy and cause the screen to collapse

  Received and as per pembajak_sejati, the box was unsealed and the item was not plastic wrapped. So looks used….
  At least it seems to work ok.
  Disappointed that I received a used product.
