    • Hi Alz,

Saw your comment however it appears to have disappeared.

Could you please confirm the LVRs of your properties?

      Regards,

      Nick

  • Anything for less than 500k?

    • Hi Marcx33,

Not at Suncorp however ANZ and St George are both offering $4,000 for lending over $250,000.

Is this something you'd be interested in?

      Regards,

      NIck

    • mines 170k but noone seems to support responsible lending anymore so
4 lenders have knocked back such pittance loan size

      • Hi cski,

Hope they weren't brokers submitting these deals that were getting declined!

We always run pre-submission checks to ensure you can achieve the desired outcome.

        Regards,
        Nick

      • Why not just borrow $250k and put the amount above $170k back in to redraw/offset?

        • +1

thats the point we shouldn't have to generate extra potential liability.

unlike this however most the lenders and brokers i enquired their response was i borrow 500k the rest just ignored the applications.

They may have changed now because with was mid last year when all was rosy and money cheap they needed that little more interest to make worth their while.

  • I hope they've stopped engaging in rate creep - when I was with them 4 or 5 years ago, I got heartily sick of having to ring every couple of months asking to be put back on the new customer rate…

      Hi MELso,

Unfortunately this is all too common amongst all lenders. The benefit of both Suncorps Basic and Professional Package these days is that you can try and negotiate these as frequently as you like. (Lenders like ING only allow you to do this every 6 months)

On top of this, you also wouldn't have to pay any annual fees for their offset product which is a massive cost saving.

      Regards,

      NIck

      • Hi Op, do you know for certain if on Professional Package you can negotiate rate adjustment as frequently as you like. I am currently on a Professional Package loan with Suncorp and have been told multiple times I can request rate revision/adjustment only once every six months. Thanks

        • Hi Hast,

As a Gold Broker (top tier) at Suncorp we have a tool in which we can reprice our existing clients.

There is no guarantee they'll offer discounts each time however the access remains.

          Regards.
          Nick

      • I'm on the professional package and I can only request a review every 6 months. Just called today and since my last review was in December I was knocked back.

  • Possible to get the cashback with >80% LVR loans?

    • +1

      Hi Deal Finder,

Unfortunately not unless you can get a favourable valuation from somewhere that brings your LVR down to 80%

      Regards,
      Nick

      • I was just chatting with a suncorp lending manager and he said that the cashback is only $3,000 even if the loan is over $1mil. Is this correct?

        • Hi Deal Finder, this is correct.

Suncorp are no longer offering the additional $1,000. This was pulled on Friday last week.

ANZ & St George are still offering $4,000 refinance rebates if this is of interest however?

Look forward to hearing from you soon

  • Any offers for new investment property loans? My new property is due to settle in Late June and I am looking for a decent rate and cashback

    • Hi BrownManWalking,

If you could please provide additional details of loan amount and LVR I'll be able to let you know if we can pre-qualify you for a rebate.

Email would be best @ [email protected]

      Regards,
      Nick

      • 70% LVR and loan amount is $643000.

        • AMP can do a minimum of $750,000 loan in which you'd narrowly miss even at 80% LVR

Leave this with me and I'll see what I can do for you!

          • @Nick-AzuraFinancial: Hi BrownManWalking,

I have one certain option for you and am working on a second one.

Would you be able to send me an email so we can liase outside of the public forum?

Look forward to hearing from you soon!

            Best Regards,
            Nick

For property value and Lvr calculation which website is being used by Suncorp?

    • Sorry 13yaar,

Could you please confirm what you are asking for here? Are you asking which valuer Suncorp use?

      Regards,
      Nick

  • How is this any better or different than this deal

Suncorp have been doing cashback per property for a while now. And that broker is offering huge broker cashback too.

  • You can also go directly to the banks for rebates, not using a broker, this article is handy to help understand https://www.homeloantips.com.au/post/mortgage-broker

  • Doesn't show anymore cashback on website. is this expired?

    • Morning OzBargainerlife1,

Hope you had a great weekend!

Confirming the Suncorp refinance rebate has seized however it is worth mentioning St George at still $4,000 rebates.

If this sounds like something that may be of interest please get in touch ASAP as we would have a week and a half to submit an application before theirs finishes too.

      Best Regards,
      NIck
