OZB_PHANTOM_SPECIAL

Happy lazy Sunday OzBargain!

Let’s start it off with a banger.

I want first to thank everyone who supported us from our last deal post, we received dozens of orders and were flooded by enquiries. All orders have been fulfilled now along with custom ones from our previous deal a fortnight ago. If you did purchase from us, I would greatly appreciate it if you could leave a comment letting us know about your experience for others.

For this deal, I’ve really pulled so many strings to get this over the line with the environment being ever so competitive and margins getting slimmer. From our last deal, we received a lot of feedback and requests for a deal with the latest generation CPUs, RAM, SSD etc… It seems like there’s a vast amount of OzBargainers who want more future-proof systems and are happy to pay the small premium. The truth is, the latest componentry being the AM5 chipset and DDR5 RAM primarily don’t have much room for discounts as they’re extremely new. Nevertheless, I made sure to get the best value out of each latest generation component without the compromise of performance or questionable brands. I have made all efforts to drive the price down as much as possible for the community by negotiating endlessly with numerous suppliers and even slimming my own margins down to accommodate this price.

Our focus is selling premium quality builds without compromising customer service and overall quality. We are a small team that cares about you and will always put you first. In saying that, I hope all OzBargainers understand that the discount amount can’t be the same as the older generation componentry, it’s simply impossible. My recommendation is that if you’re looking for something at a lower price point with the RTX 4070 and don’t mind the older generation componentry accompanying it to please contact us and we’ll be able to work something out!

From my understanding, I have not seen a deal with the latest generation of parts at this price point. I’ve beat the PCPartPicker price by $72, for further discount I strongly suggest you pick up and/or choose bank transfer as the payment method and send us a message. Our payment processors charge us a ridiculous amount per transaction.

For this deal, we have only secured a limited amount of stock so it'll only be valid for a limited time only, until the end of 14th of May.

What makes us different?

  • Guaranteed within one business hour response times for email, phone and live chat support
  • We’re proud to offer a fair and transparent price that our competitors struggle to match
  • Each PC is quality controlled seriously before despatch, we run checks on all components multiple and stress tests including 3DMark and MemTest86 - your test results will be saved to your desktop for you to view
  • 3 years return to base warranty and lifetime support included on all purchases
  • Build your own completely custom PC in any configuration and design with us
  • Guaranteed 24-hour despatch for advertised prebuild gaming PCs and same-day order processing

Use code OZB_PHANTOM_SPECIAL to score yourself a sweet deal that you might have missed out on earlier!

GPU - MSI RTX 4070 VENTUS 3X OC – 12GB ($300 to upgrade to MSI 4070 Ti VENTUS 3X OC) - we're OOS of our previous discounted pricing for the 4070 Ti's. All prices remain the same for the base model and are in stock.

If an upgrade isn’t available on the builder, please contact us and we’ll try our best to accommodate your requests.

Current despatch times: For this build, it will be mid-this week 1-3 business days. We are experiencing delays with some couriers and want to put some small buffer room for this. Rest assured; we’ll work on your order on the same day. (Fastest turnaround will be for advertised prebuilds with no customisation)

Good luck! I’m rooting for you 💪🏻

    • Cheers mate :D, appreciate your kind words

  • +1

    You guys seem swell.

    • Thanks, jalalii.

  • Nice, would've jumped on this if I hadn't done it myself already. Any deals on just the GPU?

    • +1

Hey mate, replied to your PM.

Can definitely supply just GPU for a sweet deal below retail price! :)

      • Can I also get the price for the GPU?

        • +2

I can't PM you as I have a store account, please PM us and let us know which one you're after :).

  • +1

Nice deal! Good luck with your business

    • +1

      Cheers Helpful Milk!

  • Nice one. Off to a good start

  • -4

here's $5 to see a 4080 build at this price in time for eofy 🤪

  • I'll be looking to upgrade my aging system before the end of the year, these pre-builts seem pretty good value vs buying retail.

    Last time I bought a pre-built was in 2000

    • +5

It's the industry and competition on OzBargain at the moment. I'd say definitely if a pre-build is similar to what you were thinking then go for it!

If you'd like to make any changes, just let us know and we'll try our best :).

      • +1

I'd be looking at a high-end-ish machine, I'll PM you in the future when I'm closer to biting the bullet.

  • -4

Any budget builds around $500 (ie. rtx 2060)

    • +10

Ah, sadly not. We're trying to steer away from the older end-of-life stock.

I would recommend having a look at our entry-level Frenzy build starting at $999. Shoot us a message on our live chat, maybe we could source some different parts for you with that build and get closer to your budget?

      Cheers!

  • +1

Blimey you know margins are tight when payment processor fees are a consideration!

  • +12

never owned a gaming pc, nor am i looking for one…upvoted for description honesty, transparency and keeping it real…top stuff OP

  • Hi, any $1100 systems coming up?my PC dieded last night, thanks

    • Hey Mate,

Yeah for sure, have a look at our Frenzy product line here starting at $999 - https://www.nebulapc.com.au/pages/frenzy

Shoot us a message on our live chat and we'll figure out a sweet deal for you :).

  • +1

Nice deal and build. Looking forward for a 4080 deal

    • +1

      Hey Nazhan94,

We can definitely work out a custom rig for you with the 4080. We're planning to release a 4080 deal in future but there are more bites on mid-range builds these days!

      • Also looking forward to a 4080 deal.

        • +1

Leave it with us, we'll do a even more high end 4080 deal soon enough :).

  • +1

Solid pricing and parts. If I were in the market for an overhaul I would definitely be all over this.

  • +4

32GB 6000MHz DDR5 RAM is the first thing I noticed. What a big and clean number. My DDR3 seems so ancient now.

    • +1

Yeah, honestly it's been hard for even us to keep up with the new technology and parts. A few years ago 32GB 6000MHz would've seemed so unachievable!

    • I'm running a 3770K with DDR3 too, long overdue for an upgrade

  • Any reason the 7800X3D is not an upgrade option?

    • +11

Was reluctant to put it on there due to the way our discounting works with our CPUs. I will update the builder and include the 7800X3D on there :).

    • +6

      It has been added :).

  • +2

I was patiently waiting for a good build and I finally pulled the trigger just then with a 4070ti added! So excited for this, hope to see you guys grow so much

    • +1

      Awesome!

Thank you for your business! We'll send you an email as soon as your system is despatched :).

  • No drive upgrade option?

    • There's two parts to the customizer, you need to click on the "Support" tab and scroll down. (Confusing name)

    • +1

      Hey Daniel,

Yes, you are able to upgrade the SSD and add hard drives. It's a bit confusing I must say, there's a lot of elements to a PC.

Just over here in the support tab - https://gyazo.com/e43ae01dc5ceb3c73629bf072c985c96

  • +4

Love what your team is doing! I was recently Googling "Nebula PC" but I actually couldn't find your website… until i went to the 4th page of search results

Were you aware of your website's SEO performance? I hope that future customers looking to find your website are able to easily find it.

I'd suggest looking into SEO optimisation, like writing a custom snippet for your webpage to increase your search results ranking ;))

    • +3

      Hey Quac,

That's on the books with us, we're a small team and sadly haven't had the time to get around that. Our priorities are with the customers and prices first.

To be frank, our SEO absolutely sucks and that's part of the reason why we are able to offer our services and prices. One at a time haha.

      Thank you for your feedback!

  • I was thinking all week if I should DM you for a 4070 deal! Do you think the upgrade to 4070ti is worth it as the build you've current put together has ZERO bottleneck. I wasn't even going to consider an AM5 build.

Also my mate received his build Tuesday (Victoria) when he placed his order on the Monday I believe (with 1 public holiday), so that's around 5 working days. He's yet to plug it in because he's in hospital.

    • +7

      Hey Mustaful,

It really depends on your needs and what you plan to use your PC for. I'd say no it's not worth upgrading unless you plan on doing extensive 1400p or 4k gaming. The 4070 is truly superb in performance for its price point. Yes, I am also aware there's a near-zero bottleneck for this build. That's what we planned on doing :).

Also, as for your friend who received his build on Tuesday I believe there's a misunderstanding with our turnaround times. We guarantee 1 business day despatch for orders with no customisation and up to 3 business days with customisation. If he placed his order on Monday, then another 3 business days passed coming to Friday (Tuesday was a public holiday) for despatch. He then would've received delivery on Monday or Tuesday, this seems normal. We ship express with Toll to Metro Melbourne and delivery times are usually 1-2 business days. Our turnaround times don't include courier delivery times as this is completely out of our control, sometimes for regional/rural areas it might take up to 5-7 business days. Customers who are ordering from regional/rural Australia understand this.

I also can't say for sure if this was your friend, but there was a case where we were out of stock of a particular upgraded PNY GPU and we upgraded the customer to the MSI variant instead free of charge and apologised for the slight delay but still adhering to our strict maximum 3 business day turnaround.

If you'd like to PM me with his details I'll be able to get into more detail with your particular order.

      • +6

In regards to delivery times, definitely not a complaint. 5 days is great! If I get it anytime in that time frame, I'll be happy. Just making sure I don't click on any unnecessary upgrades lol

  • +2

Oh man.. I need to talk to the wife

    • +8

      Click the button! Apologize later!

  • +2

Seems like base motherboard is already oos?

    • +1

      Let me fix this.

Fixed, sorry about this guys. We've been having some small errors with our inventory management system.

      • +3

Seems you still be having the same issue, base motherboard OOS everytime I click add to cart!

        • +2

Wow, such a rookie error on our end. This inventory management system is a headache.

I've fixed this once and for all now. Please let us know if you're still having the same issue!

  • Hi, the title says $2069 but when you click on the link it's $2269. (Not complaining about the price, just pointing out the discrepancy :)

    • +2

It was an error with our inventory management, it's been fixed. Sorry!

Edit: Nevermind that's another issue. It is $2069 after using the code, the listing price is $2269 :).

      • Argh, I'm a dum dum, thanks for sorting me out. The fact that you test completed builds properly is really awesome.

        • +1

          All good haha.

Yes, we have to do quality checking otherwise it'll be a larger problem for us down the line. We'd rather spend the time and money to properly test all builds before shipping.

Let us know if we can do anything for you!

  • +1

Can I pick up from your store instead of delivery?

    • +1

      Yes, absolutely!

Please choose to pick up upon checkout and there'll be no delivery fee. We're located in Sydney 2011.

Let us know if you have any questions.

      • +1

just curious… is there parking at your store?

        • Would like to know this too

          • @kiitos: Hey Guys,

Missed out on these messages. Didn't get a notification. I can get parking for you, not a worry. There's either usually street parking or we have our own private undercover car park. It's a home office to reduce costs so that we can provide such deals to you guys.

  • would love this PC but i don't need the gfx card : (

    • +3

      Hey Andre,

We can sort you out with this one. Shoot us a message on our live chat and we can work out a deal without a GPU or downgrade it to something more suitable :).

  • +1

Had to pull the trigger, thanks!

    • Appreciate your business! Thanks!

      :)

  • +2

I am interested to buy the best possible set up for vdieo editing, graphic design and streaming. I bought an Asus zephyrus duo 16 but it doesn't perform as expected (struggles with lightoom and premiere pro working together). Can anyome recommend a decent pre-built PC. I am not an expert to be able to build one on my own.

    • +3

      Hey Mate,

For sure we can help you out on this. Any kind of laptop, they'll always be restrictive due to their size and cooling. If you're streaming and also doing multitasking, this build would require at least a CPU upgrade.

Shoot us a message on our live chat and we'll create a build catered for your needs! :)

      • Hi OP,

I'm also interested in a video editing PC like OzMemento (not a gamer) and would appreciate if you guys can make a deal for such a rig too.

        • Yeah absolutely!

Shoot us a message on our live chat and we'll work our a work system build for you! :)

    • Hi OzMemento,

Did you end up buying one via chat, and if yes, mind to share what you bought and for how much? I'm in the market for a similar machine, but don't know where to begin as I haven't bought a new PC for a very long time. Was thinking to get into editing, but almost all the deals posted here are for gaming PCs, so wanna know something I can use as a benchmark/comparison. Cheers

      • +1

        Hi AussieDaddy

I was recommended the following specs (before discount) but ended up upgrading further. The setup I went with is not the best value for money but it would hopefully address my demanding workload better. It seems that RTX 4070 TI offers a much better value for money since retailers buy it in bulk due to high demand and that's why they can offer it cheaper than retail price. I went with 4080 as I edit 4k videos and do a lot of transcription that relies on graphic card capability. OP indicated that there is low interest in high end PC set up like the one I was asking for due to price and value, so it is unlikely that there will be many deals posted for it. He tried his best to find me the best possible price for each item which had to be ordered individually. To get it cheaper, he said that I would need to build it myself.

        https://gyazo.com/018869285876c0051a558423510dc5a4

        The changes I made were:

Samsung Pro 990 Instead of Crucial P3
MSI B650 Carbon instead of MSI Pro B650-P
MSI RTX 4080 Suprim instead of RTX 4070 Ti ventus
        Gigabyte UD1000GM PG5 instead of inWin 850W
        Better case

OP didn't think the upgrades were necessary.

        • Thank you very much for the detailed response. I think the original price in the Gyazo link was before the changes? How much did it cost after the upgrades, if you don't mind me asking?

          • +1

@AussieDaddy: $4538. Not a bargain price but it ticks the boxes for what I need. Another option was $4383 with MSI RTX 4080 Ventus. I have seen other options go around $3200-$4000 with RTX 4080 but with compromises. I could have also got the parts cheaper, i.e SSD is $319 on Amazon and goes on special for around $270 but I have never built a PC myself.

I have to say OP was very helpful and patient. He took the time to help me and offered more value-based options so it doesn't get to this price.

@OzMemento: Thanks, mate. Really appreciate it. My PC building skills are very basic too, and haven't done any related work for ages, so I might have to watch some new build tutorials on YouTube and see if I can do it myself. Otherwise, I might have to keep an eye out for a deal here, fingers crossed. Also, PC for an an 8K editing capabilities might be an overkill for me, so I might go for one with the components OP suggested above. Thanks again.

  • Will there be any bottleneck issues for 1440p gaming when pairing the base cpu with 4070ti?

    • +1

There'll be a small bottleneck with the CPU working at max load paired with the 4070 Ti, I usually would use this site but am unable to access it today https://pc-builds.com/bottleneck-calculator/.

If you're concerned about bottle necking, I'd recommend upgrading the CPU to the 7700X :).

  • Hi @Nebula PC

Ive just PM'ed you an idea. Would be great to hear back from you

    Thanks

  • +1

Would you have a 7900xtx GPU to sell to me direct (below retail? like the rtx4070)? Let me know ! :)

    • +1

      Hey Hasib,

Sadly the AMD GPUs aren't very friendly with us with pricing. We can sell direct Nvidia instead, PM us and let's see what we can do :).

      • Sure! PM'd you - let me know. I'd be after a rtx4080 then :)

  • Any chance of getting a RAM kit with decent timings? 6000 / CL40 isn't great, particularly at this price point

    • Can definitely swap out the RAM for you to something more suitable.

I try my best to deliver the best value out of all parts, ADATA is one of them compared to Corsair in terms of pricing.

Shoot us a message on our live chat and we'll work out something with the RAM so that it's more suitable for you!

      • Awesome thanks

  • +1

Go go go Nebula. Rooting for your success.

    • +6

Wow everyone on OzBargain is so supportive of us! It really brings such a smile to my face haha.

I personally have been using this site for years and I've definitely scored countless bargains. It feels like we have such a cool community!

  • Is there ever any chance of a deal on just Ryzen 5800x3d by themselves? I cant afford a new PC but new processor would do for now

    • Yes, I can source one for you below retail pricing for just one CPU.

Could you please send us a message on our live chat and we'll work out the details?

      Cheers!

  • Any view to adding Afterpay or Zip?

    • +3

The way our business model works, we really can't at this stage. For each transaction, they charge 4-6% and I don't want to list our prices higher to accommodate this. If you must pay with Afterpay or Zip, I can create a custom order for you but I sadly will have to add a small surcharge to account for the transaction fee they take. I'll try to absorb as much of the cost as possible. Otherwise, I will be making a loss and can't survive haha.

I would recommend maybe using a credit card on your end and using our payment processor online? That way we can meet in the middle with pricing and your needs.

Shoot me a message on our live chat, I'll work something out for you :).

  • if you're paying any more than 1.75% + 30c for payment processing, you could try Pin Payments.
I think there will also be better rates for debit cards later in the year.

    • Thanks for that, I'll look into that one.

I can't avoid AMEX and PayPal commercial fees, they're ridiculous. Both are above 2.6%.

Let me know if you even have a workaround for this haha.

      • Yeah, I used Pin Payments too @ 1.75%.
There’s also Airwallex @ 1.2% but my boss didn’t want to change.
        There’s a comparison chart here:
        https://www.airwallex.com/au/payment-acceptance
Haven’t found one cheaper than Airwallex.

        • +1

Oh wow, Airwallex is really good. I'm going to look into changing.

          Thanks for that guys!

      Hey Shawn,

Is this a build that you're after?

Shoot us a message on our live chat and we'll work something out.

  • How quiet is this build? I’m after a very quite PC.

    • +1

The new AMD 7000 series CPUs are known to operate at higher temperatures so it won't be dead silent. We can however adjust the fan curve for you so that it operates quieter without compromising too much performance.

  • Default RAM option out of stock.

    • Fixed that now, sorry. We've received so many orders and we had the wrong setting for the RAM with our inventory management.

  • +1

Default RAM is out of stock, I'd like to buy this deal please.

    • Fixing now.

    • Fixed now, let me know how you go in the checkout process.

Happy to help out! Cheers :)

  • Hi, how come it's showing $2269 for me? Thanks

    • Hey Kepster,

Please use the code "OZB_PHANTOM_SPECIAL" in checkout and it'll bring the price down to $2069 :).

Let us know if we can do anything for you.
