      • or in this case, buy now and drink later

    What’s this good for?

    • “Double wall vacuum insulation retains hot or cold temperatures”

    • +1

This is what's commonly referred to as a "drink bottle".

    • Be creative, might go well with lubricants

Just bought the 1.5L from Kmart today for dad (Anko, $22) should return and get this lol

$21.95 on Catch sold by Catch if you'd rather buy there. And it seems it's a regular price there.

    • Excludes delivery

      • +1

        Yeah, unless you have OnePass.

  • These are great for temperature holding but the base is hollow, so put it down too hard or in my case it hit the ground in the bottom of a backpack and it will dent easily then not stand up by itself….great price but not sure if the same will happen again so I’m on the fence as whether to buy a replacement or not.

It's a vacuum flask, it's hollow everywhere in between its two walls - internal and external. It's how it retains heat.

      • +1

True, but this is no comparison to Stanley branded flasks in terms of durability. So it is possible to build a solid non dent-able flask.

Mine went up from $59 to $79.xx. (Whoops I thought we were talking about the Orice Rise for Amazon Prime!! Sorry)

      Not Happy Jan!

Disney+ which I fortunately split between a number of people when up from
$79 to $119 last year and now they want another $20 this year. $139.99. Hey Disney, thought you were trying to make a profit, not lose more customers.

Seriously I could handle Prime increase but that is outrageous for Disney who have lost multiple billions on Disney+. And multiple millions of subscribers. Heard somewhere Disney+’s Star lost the rights to IPL Cricket and it also lost them 200 million subscribers!!

Yeah and cutting 3 Billion USD from creative is going to make earning anything that much harder. Stop writing crap.

Even Mandalorian S03 let people down and instead everyone wanted to see the TNG / Picard.

See what happens when you hire a ex Trek Writer in as a showrunner and shove Kurtzman away where he can damage/ destroy another franchise that Paramount were hoping to make a bucket load of seasons, except due to rights issues they could never ever mention Hannibal Lecter.

May as well put Kurtzman in charge are Marvel after the rubbish they have been spending hundreds of millions and in the case of all of Phase 4 you may as well write off the entire Phase. Loki could have been great but no, they have to spend five movies and three Disney+ stream series to explain what the Multiverse.

Why not just replay Sliders from the mid 90s where the writing thought, hey let’s steal some of Planet of the Apes stories and I think people decided to make a rapid exit. Honestly could have just been bad writing

      • +3

        Umm… R U OK mate?

Like it, buy it. If not, cancel… these subscriptions are in fact optional. And considering you're splitting costs of Disney with others anyway, you're still well ahead.

But chill man. You're going to give yourself an ulcer!

I didn't see any description of how many hours it would keep hot or cold

    I bought a 40oz/1.2 L Thermos labeled "24 hours" Hot and Cold - model SK2010

which is great for keeping hot or cold drinks, but is less convenient than the smaller Zojirushi we tend to carry when traveling - they have a single-handed flip-top so can be drunk from while driving with one hand on the wheel. Mine and this deal looks like needing two hands - one to hold, one to unscrew the cap/cup, then one hand to hold the flask while the other unscrews the cap, and then two hands to hold the cup and pour from the flask - unless you can just drink from the flask - but then you probably have two loose items - the cup and the screw top - which is not tenable while driving - thus the Zojirushi wins for one-handed convenience - https://www.zojirushi.com/app/product/smwre

      • Yeah, third party seller now. It sold out yesterday a couple hours after.

  • Back in stock at $19.75. There's a recent promotion of $5 off if you opt for pickup (I think only for items shipped from and sold by Amazon AU), came down to $14.75. Maybe only for Prime members, not sure.
