    So. Changed the country to US to avoid paying tax and it showed the total cost in USD. But after paying with my Creditcard and I notice it charge me in AUD 129.07.
    So the conversion done by Nord instead of my cc.
    Probably if I vpn to us first then the default currency will default to USD.
    Oh well，now waiting for it to track

      I just use it constantly. Australian ISPs track your searches, specifically your metadata and store it for years on end. The government has more power to access your information that you think.

    I normally use my vpn on my Shield.
    on surfshark I can easily choose any cities in the US list that I want to connect the vpn to. But on the nord app you need to search the city instead of list out the cities under US list.
    Maybe I am missing something? Or there is easier to connect to a particular city?

      Hmm… How did you and other people get charged only AUD 129?

      I used a United States VPN to purchase a basic/standard 2-year plan with a supposed "63% discount" offered by NordVPN. There was not GST/VAT, so the total was US $88.83.

      I paid using Ubank's debit card, which should have 0% transaction fees. But my online banking shows a charge of A$ 134.51 (pending), plus another pending "Visa Provisioning Service"—-wait… isn't Ubank's debit card supposed to have such fee? Also, why does the conversion of USD 88.83 turn out to be as high as AUD 134.51 for me, but AUD 129 for others?

      Let's hope I get my 100% back in Aussie dollars, or close to 100%…

        I think they change the discount rate time to time, so what you concern is how much you get cash back.

        According to others' tracked and mine, it is 97% cash back, I think NordVPN just got 97% only of what we paid, the 3% is his international transaction fee

      Yeah seems a bit random, but I somehow only managed to get 51% off which ends up to ~US$108 (A$ 156). I've seen others got 60% off @ US$88. Tried different browsers but l guess it doesnt really matter at the end since getting 100% cashback?

    I think I screwed it up - went from the TCB website to the Nord deal and made the purchase. Then I discovered an email from TCB asking me to verify my account. I did so but I made the purchase before I saw that stupid email. Now I see my account earnings are $0. Should I cancel with Nord and retry? Will I have to use another email address again?
    I'm disappointed I can't seem to follow a simple procedure that everyone else can manage :(

      Did you try a refresh? I did the same and it seem to have tracked, took a few hours but way ahead of the up to 7days that they mentioned.

        I logged back into TCB after a few hours and it magically appeared. Phew ! Guess there was some kind of delay that gave me some grace. Folks, set up your TCB account first, respond to the email they send you to verify the account, then go shopping for Nord. That seems safest.

      Better cancel it. Even TC tracked eventually will be rejected since you ar an existing user. Maybe apply using cashrewards with a new email as it’s still 96%

    Hi all,

    Anyone who signed up for this with your credit card please keep monitoring your bank card transactions.

    I just spoke to Commbank and they notified me my card was compromised with multiple attempts on small amount debits, and most recent transaction with NordVPN is looking like the cause as all my other transactions were PayPal only.

    My PayPal has 2FA for every login so unless they have a breach, it’s unlikely my card details be leaked.

    I messed up, ordered one of the higher plans, didn't see anything on the TopCashBack site that only the basic plan was covered. As a result I only received cashback for the value of the basic plan. Is there a way to downgrade without losing the cashback? I'm guessing not….
