The general differences between the different types of hoodies, pants or shirts etc are the type and weight of cotton; Combed, Carded or French Terry.

These guys sell to a lot of those t-shirt printing companies in bulk, so it makes sense in that context. Hence there's also the specific stock info on each item page.

$10 Shipping for two t-shirts… $13/$19 for adding a hoodie and trakkies.

Even though quality has dropped over the years, at this price they are still quite good. Cheers OP!

    • Yeah I wouldn't buy anything full price from them anymore. But at this price why not.

I have some t shirts from years ago and they seem better quality than the ones I bought in the past few years. I thought it was my imagination but the quality of the fabric seems to have changed.

      • +1

Yeah my older shirts were way better.

    • Tempted to try this for the price. I usually order myprotein clothing (like the fit and style somehow lol, except the ones with huge logo). Wonder if anyone has both n can share their comparison? Thanks

    • I bought some shirts in the last 4 for $100 deal, they have been doing well. I tried out their classic for the first time, really enjoying it. I've also had a range of other ascolour shirts since 2018, mixed results across many colours.

Glad I found this sale, $8 shirts and $12 long sleeves is pretty good.

  • Is this in store also?

      • Ta. I'm watching UFC so a bit distracted/lazy 😂

  • Thanks OP. Been waiting for this!

  • Anyone have any idea how these go for sizing?

    • +2

True to size in my opinion
      Doesn’t shrink in washer/dryer

    • +2

Varies considerably. The fit can be very odd depending on the style. Some are fitted and 'normal' sized whereas other styles can be very boxy and have weird proportions. Website size guides are reasonably accurate however they don't give an idea on what the fit is like. Your best bet is to try in-store or only purchase if you can afford it not being a decent fit.

      • Agreed. It's good if you've already tried a particular line. For example, using staple as my baseline, classic tees were one size too big and heavyweight was TWO sizes too big. I'm big but their 3XL heavyweight was like sumo sized.

So I would say staple is reasonably normal compared to other brands. But the other lines may differ quite a bit. If you buy, have a backup plan for the shirt (giving to family or a friend).

Busy watching UFC. Can I get these prices in-store? Hello. Anybody?

    • +1

      Is it PS5 compatible?

    • +1

      Probably.
      Disclaimer: Also busy watching UFC.

didn't realise AS Colour is a Melbourne based company. Wierd that they have as many stores in Auckland as the whole of Australia!

  • I bought 5 of these back in 2018, still wearing them to this day, only 1 of them started breaking. Great fit as well, plain and simple for everyone occasion.

    • +9

You do realise you need to remove them and wash them?

      • +8

Instructions unclear. Now im stuck in the washing machine. Help!!!

        • +3

          Don't worry step sis!

    • I don't think the quality is the same now. I remember reading they sold the business and people have said quality has changed. Before this I thought it was just my imagination that the fabric felt different on my old shirts and newer shirts

      • +1

are you sure you're comparing the same shirt? eg classic tee is better quality than staple tee

        • +1

I am comparing my old "Block" shirts to newer "Block" shirts that I've purchased. The old ones seem much better. The material is softer and it just feels better quality. Mind you, these shirts are years old. When I first got the newer shirts, I just thought new shirts might require some washing to wear in. However, it's been a year or more and the newer shirts still don't feel as good.

I also have different style shirts that are years old which feel better than ones I have bought in the last few years.

My most recent purchase is the "Classic" shirt. It feels thicker than the "block" shirt, but doesn't feel as nice. I don't have an old "classic" shirt to compare with though.

The material is still 100% cotton in the block shirts, but they must have changed something.

  • Thanks OP!

Can I wear these while watching UFC?? Too busy to check website for compatibility. Tnx.

My entire wardrobe is pretty much AS Colour sale items at this point, lol. They rotate their sale items/colours every now and then so it's worth keeping an eye out. Sometimes they have good (aka neutral) colours on sale. Helps when you're not size M/L too I guess.

  • +1

There are bargains but it is not really a deal, most of the stuff on the sale page are always there.

  • +2

    $130 including delivery for 7 items: 3 shorts, 1 track pant, 1 hoodie, 1 sweatshirt, 1 shirt.

They're all 100% cotton and from my experience pretty comfy so I'm happy with that!

    • How's the length / fit on them? Looking at the sizing info they're a bit long compared to width.
