There have been a couple of other posts on CA ebay gpus with the current ebay plus code, but I thought it was worth highlighting a few options near or at all-time lows.

6600 for $272 delivered is a standout, probably the last decent card we're likely to see sub $300 for a while.

Gigabyte Eagle RX 6600 $272.22 (previous low $280.02)
Intel Arc A750 $358.02 (previous low $349 + delivery for the Asrock model)
Previous deal on the Gigabyte Eagle RX 6700XT for $467.22 is still active
Asus Dual RX 7600 $404.82 (ATL?)
Galax RTX 4060 Ti $553
Gigabyte Windforce OC RTX 4070 $857.22

Currently have an old RX580. Was looking to start learning Ai/ML so need Nvidia. Is 4070 a good option?

    • Yes, but check other components to ensure a match.

      • What other components matching would I need to consider?

        • PSU, possible CPU bottleneck?

If you cannot wait, start with the 3060 12GB first

Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 3060 12GB $447.20 ($436.02 Plus) Delivered @ Computer Alliance eBay

      Has been $399

If you can wait, the 4060 Ti 16GB is being released next month and depending on pricing, will become the best hobbyist AI card due to the 16GB VRAM

      • I actually do not mind a cheap 3060 12GB but read some articles that said 4060TI is not really worth it due to some parts being worse than 3060. Guess I will be waiting to see how the new 4060 TI 16GB fares and hoping GPU prices drop more

        • If the use is for AI/ML, there is no contest - the Ada core is superior to Ampere

If you are talking about "some gaming and some AI", wait for the YouTube reviews

          • @Look Up: Haha you got me there. I am indeed planning using it for some gaming and some AI

If you don't mind used, I'd probably spring for a 3090 for ~$1k. Considerably more VRAM and compute throughput than any other options around that price, and it's not half bad at gaming either.

    • this is the benchmark you're looking for, the 4000 series seems miles ahead of the 3000 series. Hope they update it with the 4060s though.

      • yeah..except 4060 ti is not in the chart, can't tell all 4000 series is miles ahead, may be 4060 is the exception after all like 3060 lack behind…

oh well, the other review did show 3070 > 4060 ti.

  • In the market for a 4070, I heard something about there being rattling from the fan bracket on the Windforce OC model. Anyone got any experience with this particular card?

Wow the 6600 is at even a better price now - I bought this at $280 several weeks back.

  • it has taken depressingly long for something to match the 5700 at a lower price.

Yup - feeling the same way about my 2070s

  • If only Ebay codes were stackable :( just got a Asus rx6400 for <160$ for a non-gaming system

  • Jack Jack Jackie has jacked up the price of the 4070 here. It's $880 now.

    • Nah, it's $857 with plus (22% off) or $880 with regular ebay (20%).

      • Huh.. I thought it was showing the max discount for 22% earlier. My bad
