          Nope. I called Coles Support and they just transferred me to Ultimate Gift Cards, which was a voice automated service. It asked me to enter the PCN number on the card, after which it stated I had a $57.50 balance on the $50 card I purchased, which is a positive sign. But I can't actually use the card online (haven't tried in store yet), it just gets declined. Nor can I check the card on MyPrepaidCentre or cardbalance.com.au.

      I bought 3x$100 and 1x$50 HIM cards. There is a note at the bottom of Coles receit: "Your bonus value has been applied to each of your ultimate gift cards"
      But I can't check balance and it sayd activation failed.

    After registering my HER $50 GC to myprepaid account, i receive a "you now have been blocked"

    Tried to check $50 Everyone GC balance on suggested website Wookie mention few post up and comes up with unable to recognise card error.

    Called the 1800 24/7 voice automated service and can confirm my 1 x HER $50 & 2 x Everyone $50 has 15% applied to them all.

    Now i can't exchange them as cards are not recognised :-(

      the websites provided by Blackhawk seem to be buggered. i get the same errors for the HIM cards and HOME cards.

      they will still work at the store though - it becomes hard to keep tabs on the balance though without the websites working.

      sometime adding the cards to Apple Pay still works

          To be fair, it is not unusual for online retailers to have a third party handle their online sales of their gift cards. For example:

          Considering the available payment methods on the Kogan website for Kogan gift cards is different to the available payment methods for Kogan's goods, the strong suspicion is that the payment process for Kogan is different, even though it looks like you are purchasing on the same website. Either that, or Kogan has set up BIN checks to automatically reject Ultimate (Visa) gift cards if you are trying to purchase a gift card.

          JB Hi-Fi is unusual in that they sell gift cards and goods on the same website using the same payment processing.

          Btw, Ultimate gift cards are also more limited than you realise for instore spending too! For example, in the last few weeks, Officeworks has been progressively updating their instore checkouts to automatically block people from trying to use an Ultimate gift card to pay for a gift card sold at Officeworks (e.g. Coles Group & Myer gift cards, Apple gift cards, Officeworks Visa gift cards). This restriction is not mentioned anywhere on the Ultimate gift card website, and you have to look at the right section of the Officeworks website (or the signs at Officeworks' instore checkouts) to be aware of this policy.

              @camcollins: The Ultimate gift card website says that any Ultimate gift cards accepted at Lululemon are accepted on the Lululemon online store.

              I take the Ultimate gift card website as the source of truth on these matters, so if it turns out that Lululemon does not accept Ultimate gift cards on their website, Blackhawk Network (the issuer) needs to update their website.

      I hope you realise that your link is to TCN, which is not offering any bonus value on any of their gift cards through this deal.

      The only type of gift cards that is included this promotion are Ultimate gift cards, which is a range of gift cards issued by their direct competitor (Blackhawk Network).

      In other words, you have purchased the wrong gift cards.

    Called the ultimate gift cards support - the guy I was talking to had absolutely no idea about the ultimate gift card 15% bonus has an issue, trying to palm me off to Coles. When pressed, he said he can have it escalated, but till require 5 business days for any resolution.

    Have 1x $30 teens gift card that shows activation fail and 2x $50 Everyone, that only shows $50 of value each. No bonus value whatsoever… :(

    What a nightmare of a promotion… not sure if it's worth it again… to get these cards in future…

That's how I checked mine, though… 15% bonus is not in there still.

        Broadway. Had heaps of the $50 and $100 denominations for various. I bought 5x Home since it has JB and TGG on it. The only one which was probably lacking is the everyone card (forgot the official name) which only had $50's but had the most acceptances on the front.

        I noted most cards had the Apple/Samsung/Google reference in top left but a few didn't… not sure if that matters

    Hey guys - for the ones that are receiving the error message 'Your card activation failed. Please try again.' You can try going on here to check your balance https://exchangeyourcard.com.au you don't have to redeem your card, but that's another way you can try to see your card balance. Hopefully, it will ease your pain a little bit.

    I was able to check the balance of one of my cards in it ($30 Teen Card), the other 2x $50 everyone cards, I was able to check the balance on the https://myprepaidcentre.com.au site. Still don't have 15% bonus values on ALL of them, but I gave up, it's not worth the time and frustration. Life is short. :) Just ended up swapping my card to the full $130 value I spent at Coles and went elsewhere and spent it. Never again on this kind of offer for me in future. For the ones that had 15% bonus values added/resolved - congrats, it's your lucky day. :)

    Went to the Marion Officeworks store, manager says they can only take whatever the card value is written and not the total overall balance.

    This is outrageous and some other bloke coped it too. Going to lodge a complaint to OW first and then to the product issuer if this is the case. Never felt so embarrassed by the the individual and totally ignored our reasoning.

      Coles Rundle Mall was telling me that Ultimate Gift Card for Home $100 is not eligible. It is eligible, i bought 5, dad bought 1. all of them has $115 each.

        Bought a $100 Ultimate Him card to test and it had $115 loaded up online.
        Then, bought the other 4 of the $100 cards I had near register right after.
        All done during "peak shopping" time 😀

      I couldn't check the balance or add the card to my account with your link, it says that you have been blocked. I can check the balance with link, just enter the expiry date 12/29.

    I've bought 10 giftcards (me and my wife) and find 5 of them shows "activation failed" while I try to add them into my ultimate gift card account. Has anyone encountered the same issue?

    Bought 5 $100 him gc in the morning and 2 more in the evening.
    The 5 had the extra 15% bonus but the other 2 didn't..

    Bought 5x $100 For Him.

    3 x activated in myprepaidcentre. No 15% added
    2 x card activation failed.

    Anyone tested these in store and was able to confirm if the 15% was added or they even work?

      Him cards had problem for checking balance, I had same trouble yesterday. But they usually all good. Try this website https://exchangeyourcard.com.au, you don't have to click through to swap, but you should be able to see the balance of it in there.
