This seller is legit. I only buy refurb from them, and 1 year warranty.

No thunderbolt, but otherwise a good laptop that's easily upgradeable.

Great price for the hardware, but its a Dell and that too Latitude. I have gone through 5 of thwm in past 5 years l. Luckily they belonged to work and I didn't have to deal with replacement issues.

Yes terrible quality and they get much worse for wear

I used to have so many Dell refurbs but I've switched to Lenovo much better quality

      Dell Latitude just doesn't last

    • It depends a lot on the range and individual models. The 5420s, 5421s and 5430s at work that are pretty solid. There are some quirks but the RMA/warranty repair rate is about 5% so far.
I don't have experience with the 5310 so cant comment on it specifically.

    • Same problem for us but with Lenovo. Insane. I thought the Dells we had before were bad but Lenovo Thinkpads have been next level headaches.

      the quality is pretty poor
I am using 5320 for work, and had 2 replacements within a year, both had screen flickering issues…

This seller is on my blacklist - surprisingly, given their feedback score, had to reach out to eBay to resolve multiple issues after being sold a faulty laptop. Buy with caution.

I've had the opposite experience. Easy to deal with, and legit 1 year warranty. If I have a problem they just send me a return label

      • +1

And how many times has that been needed to happen?

Great price for the hardware / form / size / weight.

Curious what does Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher got to do with Dell laptops ?

    • I dunno, but when dealing with them, they ask for the Dell service number

    • +1

The Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher program is a partnership tailored to meet the needs of largest device refurbishers in the world. Microsoft enables them to professionally refurbish Windows devices and preinstall genuine Microsoft software, ensuring a great customer experience. These devices are then sold to businesses, consumers, schools and non-profits.

Screen size in title and description please.

Not enough room in title. There's a link with a review and all the specs in the description

No idea about the quality but I like how it has two accessible RAM slots and retrofit PCIE slots for upgrade wifi/4G even though it is a 13" size.

Shouldn't be called a 2in1 if it can't fold into a tablet though.

    • Dunno, is it even touchscreen? I had a yoga 2 pro that was probably a 3 in 1, lappy, A-frame, tablet and reverse standing up.

Actually still fire it up occasionally and not bad.

I'd be installing win 10 on whatever you get, and probably worth not cheaping out on laptops (especially if using for work/tax claim).

      • Yes this one listed is touch screen but it's not the foldable version with the same name. That's why the name is dodgy.

  • What would people think between the latitude for $467.22 or a refurbished 13 inch XPS 13 - 9305 LAPTOP for $850 (8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Intel Core 11th Generation i5-1135G7 Processor)?

Looking for a relatively cheap 13 inch laptop for note taking. I have a chromebook which I'm not enjoying as it lags a lot.

  • Thanks OP. Needed a laptop for my daughter for school. If she doesn’t like the scratches on the outside I’ll be happy to keep this for myself 👍

  • The description says "Used", not "Refurbished"

  • Update: I actually got the 2-in1 model with 88% battery. Laptop looks almost new, and charger still wrapped in plastic.

  • What a great little laptop for the price.

The chassis was quite scratched and covered in grime but the computer was fairly new in age so a good clean and DIY surface refurb brings it back to life.

Kind of disappointed at the weight, website says 1.3kg but ended up exceeding 1.4kg.

Also it's still got Dell premium warranty plus extended battery warranty attached. Bargain.
