In my experience the already small battery on this wears down quite quickly, still a decent price though.

  • can a fellow OzBargainer using this phone confirm if it is dual SIM? ( ESIM + nano SIM)

    • +2

It is, I ran it full time with a dual sim and I did always wonder if that’s what contributed to the battery degradation

      • With dual sim, did you have any issues with calls not being received - or poor reception?

(I recently added an ESIM and getting a few issues - not sure if iPhone SE or network)

        • +1

I don’t think so, my bigger issue was my carrier not doing VoLTE back then

Are you aware that “good” condition is the bottom rung of their used phones?

    Good
This device has more obvious signs of wear such as significant scratches, scuff marks and/or small chips that do not affect functionality.

    Coles usually advertise theirs as

    Premium Refurbished phone

Talking about refurb ratings, I love what appears to be the top class, Great, over at Renewd:

Product is in GREAT CONDITION, this classification is reserved for device that will show evidence of heavier use that will include scuffing, heavier scratches, dents and chips on external surfaces, wear and tear will be visible on palm rest, keyboard and touchpad

Received it today. All looks good to me. No obvious scratches or damages. Came with 94% battery health and has 12m warranty for some peace of mind

      • And that was the Good Condition one? Wow so their Excellent Condition must be really good

I honestly think it's luck. I bought an iPhone 12 from Boost for my son a couple of months ago and chose the "as new" option, the housing around the camera was all scratched up and battery was like 82%. Similar thing happened with Green gadgets and an iPhone 8 a couple of years ago. Both times I've had some money refunded because they didn't meet the conditions

@iMacca: I think it also depends on the model. I cant imagine the iphone SE was very popular when it was first released in 2020. These could be excess stock.

  • Tbh for a phone for development this is a pretty good deal. You dont care about battery because its mostly plugged in

    Shame it's only 64 not 128

    • 128GB now in stock for $207.20 (normal ebay)

  • +1

Have one of these, great price, but they battery doesn't last the day even with light use, you need a powerbank if you are going out

    • Some decent battery cases with 6000mah. Chunky but ends up giving SE more batt than even the iPhone 14 Pro Max

  • Really love the form factor of this phone. Really beginning to resent today’s bigger phones and all display screens. These smaller phones remind you it’s just a phone. Stop the doom scrolling enabled by an all screen with big batt and constant notifications.

The next SE will probably look like todays non Pro series with a notch. I’ll end up upgrading to the 2022 SE and keep that for life.

    • I had the original Samsung note, iPhone 6S+ and the 12 pro max. Now have the 13 mini. With the quality screens they have now, big phones are not necessary and are cumbersome.

  • Seems to be OOS

    • 128 GB is available for $24 more

  • Received the 2nd one today. Really great service, complimentary express post. Once again, no noticeable wear and tear. Battery health also good at over 90%.
