iPhone 13 128GB Midnight $997 + Delivery ($0 C&C/ to Metro) @ Officeworks

680

Can't find who they are matching but it is cheaper than the $1029 at TGG/JB. Other colours excluding Blue are also available for delivery and C&C at some stores. One of the cheapest prices it has been. Could price match elsewhere and use discounted gift cards if you have stocked up from the past.

Thanks to @paloverde88 for sharing it in the main JB post comments.

  • I think they're matching Amaysim

  • Will apple price match this to use the coles gift card?

Somehow yes but only 10% max, so in this case it will be $1106.10 off RRP.

Thanks mate. Makes it a bit of a pointless exercise.

  • how is the camera on this device, compared to higher end 13 model, and the 14 models?

    • for day time its pretty good for night time its ok, not as good as pro as it has no lidar sensor

      • +1

The 13 pro and 14/14 pro models have larger image sensors (44 mm² and 57mm² vs 35mm²), so should be much better for night photos.

13 Pro and 14 Pro can shoot full resolution proRAW, which is the most significant difference.

    • the real world difference for everyday usage i noticed was that you can't get close to the object. blurs out when within 30cm

IMHO the lack of a telephoto lens at this price point is a bit of a letdown.

  • Amazon is now matching price too

    • This is the deal! Hope people have got their collection of 10% discounted gift cards. $3 cashback on $30 etc at Cashrewards.

      • where are the 10% discounted amazon cards?

        • There aren't. I think he's referring to stacking up from the previous smaller deals.

          • +1

@eciuj: Stocking up on smaller deals is like dollar cost averaging into the share market. Good returns. Especially if you stack with those 10% cashback on everything days on Amazon.

Does anyone recall historically, if previous models like this drop further in price when the new models come out in Sep?

    • +2

I bought a discounted iPhone 12 a week before the 13 was launched. Once 13 was launched all discounts on the 12 dried up and it didn’t come down to what I paid for it for a full year.

  • It's quite amazing how the iPhone is probably the least depreciated product

    • Truly…

    • Apple do a lot of things to avoid them becoming obsolete quickly. Industry leading SOC performance. 5+ years of feature updates. Pricing strategy that doesn't pull the rug out from under early adopters. Quick and accessible process for battery replacements at a reasonable price.
