  I've been looking for gold hospital insurance + extras over the last week and I ended up going with Medibank. Medibank was about $500 cheaper than AIA and I used the velocity promotion where I'll get 130,000 velocity points in 90 days. They've also got another promo you can choose where you get 4 weeks of cover for free and up to $500 in gift card.

  $900 cashback over three years on a policy that has a high premium isnt really a deal, sorry.

  One of those sites I can’t stand…. To find out what the rates are you have to enter your contact details and then no doubt get dombarbed with sales calls.

  You should also factor in the $500 worth of gift vouchers you get through AIA Vitality per year if you hit your targets.

  Plus 50% cash back on virgin flights and 50% off gym memberships. It all adds up to quite a lot.

    Yea but you can get AIA Vitality by having life insurance inside super. That's cheaper than buying health insurance through them.

        You can get it via a mastertrust which is about 100 to 200 bucks a year inside super. You also need to pay for the AIA Vitality program which also cost around 125 to 150?

  AIA offers are always too complex or require lengthy hold times.

  In years of churning across health insurance providers, AIA has never ever had a compelling offer.
