I booked over the phone and was offered these two options, both with a $99 USD deposit.

    Bali Package and Phuket Package are available to World Elite Mastercard cardholders whose Mastercard cards are issued by banks located in China, Hong Kong SAR, Japan, Macao SAR, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Philippines.

    Gold Coast Package is only available to World Elite Mastercard cardholders whose Mastercard cards are issued by banks located in Australia or New Zealand, and the cardholders must be a resident of Australia or New Zealand.

    How did you get around the restrictions on the Terms & Conditions?

      yeah I dont think this works. in order to book the Bali and Phuket we need Credit card that issued in the country that they have specified.

      They might accept your booking, but when you arrived, they might decline you…

      They offered it by phone to me specifically as an Australian card holder - @Koookies in the previous deal got an email response as well “I’m regret to inform you that we already reach our limits for the allotment in Australia site. However, you still can book in Phuket or Bali instead”

          Have you actually did a search on how much it cost at the Marriott? It cost $1.1k for the 4D3N vs paying 200USD. For me this is already a bargain. If you're happy with 50USD then this deal is not for you.

    Not so much value for hotels in Phuket and Bali when paying the taxes where hotels are generally much cheaper especially in off season compared to gold coast

      World elite as per T&C don’t have that clause. I’ve screenshoted the entirety and they send the same T&C in the confirmation email.

        this is important, i emailed in April and was offered Phuket in Jan 24 for $299 USD and Me and the wife had to attend the presentation. When i called out the T&Cs they confirmed they don't apply unless you live in Malaysia.

        Get it in writing you don't need to attend as the T&Cs are clear only residents of Malaysia don't need to attend.

        actually, if it's the same T&Cs i've copied below then they don't apply to you as you aren't based on those countries. Be doubly sure you won't have to attend.

    I managed to get a booking for Nusa Dua. Ended up being 120 USD for 3 nights which isn't too bad.

        March 2024. Noting that availability kept slipping away the longer I took to decide, in other words, I had to push back my dates a few times.

      I should also add, I just stayed at the Marriott Nusa Dua and it's a great hotel, no complaints from me. Probably geared more towards families and not a tonne to do in the immediate vicinity however it's fairly easy to get around Nusa Dua with grab/gojek. Plenty of good food options around too.

          I believe I had to pay with that specific card over the phone, I haven't attended my travel yet however I understand that you don't need to sit the presentation.
