    Mine just got delivered. phone was freezing cold as i assume due to the freezer lol
    Received a Red one with 5v 2.1a charger and generic usb cable, no marks on screen at all with only a small mark in one of the corners but no dents so pretty happy with that
    IOS 16.0.2

    Was dead flat, charged it up and powered up. Battery health is at 88% however important battery message has popped up "your battery's health is significantly degraded. An apple authorised service provider can replace the battery to restore full performance and battery"

    not sure what to do with regards to that as i thought 88% isn't too bad.

      You can phone them. Each shop has its own number, ask for service desk. The people there are usually very helpful.

    I ordered yesterday c&c and picked it up at 6pm tonight. Last one at that store. Yellow, only a tiny speck missing from the frame and 87%. Good enough, happy with that. Seems pretty hit and miss, although i have had good luck so far with Boost refurbs (touch wood).

    Signed up for coles subscription one month free trial, ordered phone, click and collect, Perth Northern suburbs. Waiting on the 4000 bonus flybuys and the 59.90 shopback! Collected last night. Boost mobile refurbished with sim, 2.1A generic charger, lightning cable. Coral Red colour, battery 86% health, IOS at 16.0. Phone appears flawless apart from one tiny 1mm scratch on top of the frame. Have updated to latest IOS 16.6 and can say excellent value for money.

        don't know, it seems a fully refurbished iphone with screen and battery replaced. No scratch on the front screen and 100% battery. only minor issue is it's a US version iphone so no B-28 supported.

    After 3 cancelled orders, finally picked up c&c this morning.

    Red, as new apart from some paint marks around the camera ring. Battery health 87% can’t complain.

    Would advise to call around for a store that actually has stock and place a c&c order with them :)

    the reason is out of stock at the pickup store.
    customer service doesn't know which store has stock, and advised me to try place orders in different stores.
    what a joke. canceled my coles plus membership directly.

    Picked up c&c. American model. Blue, very minor color fading on the power button and negligible bright spot at bottom of phone, otherwise cosmetically flawless.

    However, battery was detected to be not genuine and sometimes can flutter between constant restarts due to battery detected as 1 or 0% even when plugged to charger, or in the lucky off-chance detects the phone plugged on the wall almost the whole day and shows 99%.

    Anyone got any advice on dealing with Alegre?

    As my phone was immaculate, but just with a questionable battery - and I bought the phone to give to my mum (and just want it to work for the next few years), I went in and had my battery replaced.

    Turns out my XR was the Japanese version. That explains why I couldn't turn off the shutter sound when taking a photo (Japanese are apparently pervs).

    EDIT: From earlier in the thread, some people received US versions of the phone.

      mine, yellow, also JP version. It has band 28 so I am fine with that.
      It is a good phone for the price. Worst case scenario you run it a year and if the battery gets worse you can spend $140 to have a new one put in.

        As I don’t have a SIM card in it yet - I read that putting an Aussie sim into a Japanese iPhone may actually silence the camera shutter (when the phone is in silent mode). Is that true? I haven’t been able to try it yet.

      If the SE is AU model, get that.
