      Did you receive a confirmation of order first or just the cancellation? I have the confirmation email but it says it can still be modified until 12pm today so I guess it still risks cancellation at their end.

    I picked mine up this morning. I didn't see the other earlier post in the thread about why NOT to buy this phone - oops.

    However, mine looks brand new. No scratches on the front or back, the camera works fine, and the battery is at 90% so I think that's good enough. It was running IOS 16.3 so I've updated it to 16.6 and I've ordered a screen protector & case for it off amazon.

    Click and Collect Order got cancelled, I called the store and they said they just had 1 Phone in Stock which was picked up early in the morning. Upon probing I came to know that they had 12 Orders for Click & Collect. Not sure how the system allowed to take orders when the store only had 1 Phone in stock.

      Heh, I thought it was strange they'd have "stock" in every store (even out here in 4343) and allow click n collect within an hour.

      Looks like unless you're lucky enough that your local store has ACTUAL stock they'll just cancel the orders.

        I checked with many stores in my vicinity in Victoria. And everyone had stock in the range of 2-4 Phones and none of the stores got some extra stocks to handle this promotion. So people who were able to grab it yesterday itself were the luck ones.

      Place another order and get free groceries. In my experience with Coles, once an item is out of stock and cancelled, it is subtracted from the total at full price.

        Won't they just refund you? Are you saying they will give you $600 credit instead?

        Edit: I see. Order phone + groceries. When they cancel they will deduct -600 for the phone, which you paid $199 for. Crazy good hack if it works.

    My local store, like others mentioned above, was only given two phones. They had 8 orders early this morning, so cancelled 6. No raincheck.

    I am on the central coast.
    I ordered mine last night at 6pm. Requested it be delivered between 8:30-11:30am and it arrived around 11:30am.
    Close to mint condition battery health @ 90%

    Got my phone an hour ago. I called around Hobart stores to find stock, none had any except Eastlands who had 2. AFAIK they still have 1 left. I politely asked them to hold one and she held both phones they had, Black and Blue. I click and collected, I drove right there before the C&C time, said hello and she got them out for me to pick… I chose Blue.
    Phone condition: Boost mobile box, with charger, inserts, Boost sim card and some paperwork. Phone itself looks almost new, no scratches. Battery capacity 89%.

    The software not updating, giving an error.
    Will be on my way to return it shortly.

    Just picked up mine, red with 92% battery health.
    Come with charger, cable, sim eject tool and $2 boost sim card.
    Just 1 dot mark on top edge, doesn’t really matter as it’s gonne be in the case anyway.

    One arrived. Flat battery (not a good sign) and IOS 15.6. They call this refurbished? :-) No scratches though.
    Anyone else having trouble updating? Google says Apple servers have had recent problems.

    Only charging at 5W (5V 1A) with the included charger, even though it is labelled as 2.1A. I found another charger which is doing 2A.
    I think usb-C will do 3A? - if you had the correct cable as originally supplied by Apple.
