Please follow the instructions

  1. After launching the app, some questions will be displayed (skip)
  2. Then click on "Get Started"
  3. After "Get Started" the window with the subscriptions will appear. There you select “Free Lifetime” below. A short popup will appear that it worked.
  4. Now you can get started. Take a photo or select one from the gallery

      You don't need these apps so much nowadays, just takes a photo of any plant and do an image search and it will tell you which plant it is

        Yep, agreed! For iOS users, take a photo of a flower/plant/animal/food/etc, and if it recognises the subject there’ll be some little diamonds next to the information button ( i ) when viewing the photo. Press and it’ll tell you the name with a link for further information. Presume Android has something similar.

      Use "picture this". It's free but you just get a nag screen to subscribe when you start it up. Just click the x in the top right corner and it goes away.

      Very accurate too

      Also tells you what's wrong with the plant etc. Great app.

      Same. Mine bugged out, I tried clicking many times and then it asked for my Apple ID, I temporarily exit to copy baste from bitwarden, coming back to it, the login screen just disappeared. So I think it worked? I haven't been charged.

      I was hoping it had restore purchase option to check after reinstalling but it doesn't even have icloud or account backup feature.

      Just tried it now. It managed to correctly identify 2 of 4 plants I tried it on (they were exotics - I suspect it will do worse on natives). It completely missed the mark on two, and didn't give any indication of 'confidence'.

      The competition nag is annoying.

      It's a glitch. Go back, click on the Free Lifetime, and it will work the second time. At least, that's what happened for me.

    Even tho its greyed out you still can select the free for lifetime the same shows up in the payment popup with out any payment.

    Lol. So far it thinks a lime, a lily and even a leaf on my camo jacket are all different types of mushrooms.
    I’ll be working at the nursery tomorrow so will try a few different native plants and see how it goes.

      Did a little more testing this morning. It’s not the best at Australian plants, it got 2 incorrect and 2 correct. To be fair iOS also got the rhagodia wrong.
      It thinks -
      Banksia = pittosporum
      Rhagodia = correa

    Worked for me. Had to hit free for a life time, the apple pay or subscription checkout windows came up, double clicked the power button to confirm all working.

      scroll down a little, where sign up options are, says lifetime for free, slightly greyed out. select that
      it'll then ask you permission to download app again,
      do that
      then it's free

          Go to the app in the App Store, scroll down to “report a problem”, choose “report a quality issue”, it will show “lifetime for free”

            @RevolverUpstairs: What a troll. You know the payment screen permanently disappears when a payment/selection is made (or until subscription needs renewing) so how can I be successfully subscribed on my account for lifetime membership and AFTER that, be subscribed to $9.99.

            The only way I know about the $9.99 is because I logged into my iOS account and billing history. It gave me no notification of this on the app.
            But continue your weird crusade against someone pointing out a simple error so that if others have the same error, they have can it reversed too

      Yeah, you should have canceled out and gone back, and reclicked. I read the screen, and it said it was going to do that too, but after I went back, clicked again, it went through perfectly fine for free.

      It's a glitch, but you should have read before subscribing.

        It's all good. The devs/apple are processing a refund for the bug. On my iOS purchases account I had 'purchased' the lifetime subscription for free first (so I should never be shown the subscription menu ever again). and within the same minute afterwards it has subscribed me to a weekly fee (which didn't show in the app but only in my iOS account), which as they agreed, should be impossible as I have lifetime membership and shouldn't even be prompted for the subscription screen after that.

        I was posting this for others if they noticed the same issue on their iOS billing (none of this shows in the app)

    Free for lifetime was greyed out for me too. When I pressed on it the Apple payment comes up but should have the words 'Free for lifetime'. I confirmed the payment and all looks OK. Checked my subscriptions and there is no listing for the app.

      It was greyed out for me too and then a page popped up confirming the purchase after I pressed the button on the side of the phone.

      I checked my account in App store and found no subscriptions. Does that mean I am safe and was not charged for anything?

      It is a bit dodgy because I can't see any membership or subscription in the App.

      Or how can I confirm if I have been charged or not?

A newspaper asked tik tok users if they would still use tik tok given all the data it collects and probably shares with the Chinese government and most people said they are willing to accept that as long as they can still watch tik toks
