I think from the last discussion of these, the consensus was that you need the two battery version to be effective

  I have an older 1 battery one and its fine. But it really just depends on what you're tackling with it.

  I have a one battery Ozito trimmer and it does the job fine. I think a 2 battery one would be a pain with how much heavier it'd be.

Bought one last week. It was okay, definitely more suited for lighter tasks.
Not too bad a deal if you consider the included 2.5 Ah battery and smart charger (~$30 value).
Tempted to buy the 36V but that’d mean I have to buy an extra battery.
