    Sadt. :(

    • Same

    • Getting same error

    • Same here
      Can't buy anything from Boost
Need online chat to activate SIMs bought back in August

    • I got the same error and had to contact them to activate. Took a few hours.

    • +2

I had the same issue a couple of weeks ago. I followed the tips from this Boost rep across multiple days but had no success. I ended up emailing Boost, detailing what trouble-shooting I had done, and they then called me the following day. They were obviously unable to help with the CashRewards side of things, but what they did do was apply a $35 credit to an account they made in my name. I went and bought a $2 sim, activated it, then called the call centre and they applied the $35 credit (and I still get the bonus data for three months, same as through the website).

So, a lot of effort, but I am now with Boost and am happy, and have had no issues so far. I wasn't slim-slutting, I was actually looking to move to a new provider, so the effort was worth it to me.

      • So you were a first time buyer? Absolutely incredible that their systems are so broken that they have to go to such extremes just to sign you up.

    • That means you've bought too many in the last x days than their system would allow (no idea what that limit is though)

  • I held out on all the recent deals but I think this is as good as it gets. Cheers OP

    • I think in time we will go back to the $4/$5 days

    • +3

wait for the last day 17th Oct for likely chance to have the highest cashback option for the last few hours. cheers

      • And if it doesn't happen……

thx kids are happy they can eat again!

    • +7

      Your kids eat data?

      • Only if the kids can survive till the end of December (by which parents can cash out), during which the family are short of x times of $12 but have to put food on the table.

    • +2

Do you just feed the sim cards to your kids, or the envelope as well? What do you mix it with to help it go down better, milk, water, more sim cards? Asking for a friend.

      • +1

Envelope as well, the tracking and express postage on in adds +5 to their stats

Has anyone actually received the profitable cashbacks from these boost deals?

    • +3

      Obviously

    • I’ve done 3 since August, not a single one. ETA says November. Just waiting before purchasing more.

      • +2

August purchases will pay out last week of this month.

    • Has anyone actually received the profitable cashbacks from these boost deals?

      Yes, you should try it…

  • Does anyone know how many you can activate per ID?

    • +1

      35

      • Is this a lifetime limit or limit of active numbers at any given time?

        • I would say the latter but welcome any correction.

        • Any given them. You can ask them to deactivate numbers from your account to free up slots

          • @Love a bargain: Can you deactivate the SIM even if it is still pending for cashback?

            • +1

@muchodinero: read the CR terms - there's no requirement to stay with them until the cashback is paid, only that the sim is activated within 30 days

              • @Love a bargain: Thanks for your reply. That’s my understanding too. Just wanna know if I’m not the only one risking doing that. Lol

I deactivated some SIMs today hoping that I’ll finally be able to be successfully purchase but still gets that error. Will try again another day.

      • Source?

  • Does this revert back to $35 after the first month?

    • +1

Let me check and I'll "revert" to you

    • Yes

  • Can I activate it overseas and use the starter sim for roaming?

  • You need to buy a roaming pack.

    • Okay thank you

  • Thanks OP, got 1!

  • Tried on two browsers and got sorry something went wrong. Worked for 1 sim this morning.

    • +1

Used a different card & worked!

Looks like they haven't fixed the issue yet … at least say error lol.

    • Why would they fix anything? I mean clearly they’ve done that on purpose, they want new users not profit maker.

      • But they waste people's time and in that case should add "new user" to the title

        • but it's not just "new user" though… there just seems to be an unspoken limit on how many one person can buy in a certain period.

  • I remeber reading somewhere on here that there was some limit to the amount of numbers you could have registered to your name but now i can't find that anywhere. Does anyone kinow if that's accurate? I have my actual number on payg with amaysim and have been bouncing around a secondary number for data, but just wondering if i should just get a new number every month for these cashback deals…

    • For Boost Mobile, I can confirm that there's a limit, I'm not 100% sure how many it is but it's easily minimum 20+
You will get a notification when you start reaching your limit upon activating the sim, I think you start getting that when you're 3 away from the limit, at this point you can get Customer Service to de-register older numbers if you have received the cashback for those numbers.

I don't know if that limit is just Boost Mobile or whether that limit takes into consideration any number you have registered against your name, I'm pretty sure it's just Boost Mobile. Maybe each carrier sets their own limits?

      • up to 35 with boost at any one time. don't think they care how many you have with other telco

  • Quick question for y'all, I have reached my limit of how many sims I can have activated with Boost Mobile but most (if not all) of those sims relate to cashbacks that are still 'Pending', is there a way I can signup using ideally my details and ID without triggering the limit and without having to cancel any existing sims?

    • Signup using your wife unit details (ask first)

    • Aren’t we gonna get our cashback if we deactivate the SIM while it’s status is still pending?

    • +3

I usually ask them to deactivate those that have run the course of the first recharge (i.e. the first 28 days). You don't need to stay with them till you receive your cashback - ask anyone who SIM slut every "month".

  • +1

Anybody knows how long the sim stays active (for incoming calls and texts) after the expiry of plan?

    • +1

      6 months I believe

  • Still can't purchase. Today I tried a different computer and different credit card.

Can't believe how badly broken their fraud detection is.

    Or maybe it's on purpose…

  • I am looking for 12-month cashback :( unsure when they are going back…

  • Thanks ordered then sim and Cashback tracked
“Your cashback has been tracked from Boost Mobile”

  • I'm not used to this. So basically i'm already on Vaya and want to stay on Vaya for now…. so when this arrives i just activate it using the number they give me. I honestly forget, does the sim have to be in the phone for this to activate?
