A few more bargain iPods @ Harris Technology.

Looks like 80gb iPod Classics are no longer sold. I'm not sure if they're older models than the 120gb ones - maybe someone can enlighten us.

  Bought 2 from the Valley store in Brisbane. Asked the salesperson if they are new and he confirmed they are, just had a chance to look at them tonight and both are refurbished and have been re shrink wrapped to make them look new. I will be confirming with Apple tonight they are refurbished in writing then head back to HT with a please explain.

  I suggest if anyone intends on buying these from other stores get the name of the sales person you get them from and confirm if they are new or not. Also explain to the sales person when you get it home you will check the serial on Apples website to confirm warranty expiration date, one of mine ends June 09 and the other says its a refurbished model and has no warranty, so thanks HT.

  I have no problems in buying refurbished items, however when I am told they are new, I expect new i would have paid half for the one without warranty at all or not got it, being tricked into a sale does not sit well.

  Update contacted HT they confirmed unit was a return and exchanged with new iPod, good service when a mistake is made, happy with the outcome.
