Seems expensive. This is aging now.

    • Yeah this is pretty old. Portable emulators are rapidly changing and this is too expensive.

    • Big time. No wi-fi capability is a bit of a deal breaker.

That’s why I went with RG351V back in the day.

I had one of these, sold it since custom firmware support turned spotty and got a better experience with other portables. Still a good machine though

    • which other portables would you recommend?

Depends on what you want. There's a million and one options on the market right now.

Start at YouTube channels like Retro Game Corps or WULFF DEN, ETA PRIME, Retro Handhelds etc and you'll get a good idea of what fits for you

        • As well as Taki, Madlittlepixel and Techdweeb amongst others.

I have alot of these handhelds and alot of other emulation devices too. If anyone needs advice just ask.

Currently i have a powkiddy rgb30, x6 and ds007 devices all coming as well.

The Anbernbic RG405M seems a very good deal, so much that I just pulled the trigger now

        $110 seems a bit steep for RG351P

        I have my 351M on eBay, with a 64GB and 128GB card ….

Currently found about 20'000 Mame Games ( not installed yet )

      • Retroid pocket 3+ or an Odin lite. but we are talking more cash for either of those. If I was in the market, I'd be looking at splashing out on a 12GB Odin 2.

    Cheaper on eBay.

Ozbargain doesn't always have the best bargains.

It's amazing what a few upvoyed and comments cns do

People might be bothered answering if you asked politely.

People one the internet aren’t paid sales people here to recommend you things.

What a strange attitude to have towards people you’re asking free advice from.

  • Contrary to most here, I'll vouch for the old 351P. When it comes to modern Android handhelds I have this, the 351V, Retroid Pocket Flip and an Odin Lite, and I still reach for the 351P if I want to play GBA games. This is the perfect machine for that console with it's 3:2 aspect ratio screen. It still has a place in my collection.

If you have different consoles you want to focus on, or you want a one-and-done, this probably isn't it though.
