5% isn't really anything to write home about. Especially when its been 15% before.

    • It was 20% off all TVs until just a few days ago.

      • that wasn't a perk though, it was just a general sale

  • Not working on roborock. Says coupon doesn’t exist. I’m logged in

What a Scrooge not even 5% for these, profit is more important than looking after customers

    • +2

ssshhh but it seemed to work on a surface laptop just now

  • Brings the TCL c845 98" down to $6592 with the promotion 15% off when adding a sound bar.

Not bad, not quite as good as click frenzy the other day at $6396, without the sound bar.

You can literally walk in store and ask for best price any day. Usually about 5% off…

    • +6

you get 5% off on top of that

      • No you don’t

The good guys near me will give 10% if I show any interest in the product lol

      • +6

I usually get 10% if I show them something as well.

    Not generous enough

  • +13

10% should be the minimum requirement to post on OzBargain

    • and specific deals listed…

The number of votes on this deal must really upset you.

    but whats the bargain ?

  • Maybe if someone finds an OK deal in the 5 day price frenzy, this extra 5% off will turn it into an actual bargain.

  • 5% is pointless. Not a bargain.

    • +13

Based on your 0 deals posted in 12 years, maybe you don’t know what a bargain is 🤷‍♂️

      • +2

Interesting. I didn't know my bargain hunting ability was powered by the number of posts I made.

        • Shh, you'll upset the merry band of no-lifers.

        • +2

Good community spirit then not to share

  • 5% is uhh.. kinda pointless.

  • 5% is pointless

  • +12

Yeah, 5% is pointless, but $2 profit from switching mobile is a REAL deal :)

Shame it doesn’t work for negotiated price, these have in the past.

Hold back for Black Friday. Those reductions are usually site wide, without codes, so can be boosted with any codes you may have.

    • That starts soon doesn't it? Late November? Good time to get a new laptop you think?

  • Yeah 5 per cent… Unless I was already certainly about to buy something, it is not going to get me into their store.

Pretty pointless, on bigger ticket items which it might make a difference, you can usually successfully ask for 5% off anyway….

    10%, would be a deal…

  • I'll be holding out for a new TV and washing machine until we get the sweet sweet Black Friday sales

  • Yeah, just wait for singles day, Black Friday & Cyber Monday long weekend. They seem to be the best deals of the year now, beating EOFY & boxing day deals. However, this is a great deal on some stuff that's already 20-40% off, extra 5% will pretty much make it as cheap as it gets.

  • For the TV+soundbar bundle deal (15%), this 5% effectively brings it to 20% discount, just like the recent 20% (but without the soundbar). I will wait for BF to see if it gets better than 20% for a Sony OLED TV.
