    Is Jack around this evening?

    • +4

Seems the guy is absent, at least in the discounted TV section.

    • +4

My experience is no. The worst scenario is back to RRP for previous discount items and then apply 15% discount.

We all knew "jackiest" platform is called eBay.

Guys don’t forget RBA has bumped up the interest rates again today.

    Your buying is being watched!

      • +1

You clearly have no idea how economics works.

        • +1

Sure I don't watch we run into recession for two years straight after today's rise. Mark my words

          • @neonlight: Overshooting with monetary policy is a separate topic to the idea that people administering that policy are profiting and forcing ordinary people to suffer.

            You’re an idiot

          • +2

@neonlight: Just coz they pumped so much money last 2 yrs of covid

            • +1

@overlook: Exactly my thought… Too many knee-jerk decisions was made during covid, and now we all pay the price

They sell more than just tvs…

  • +4

Most items are at dl rrp. Hardly anything is sticking out as a bargain. Pretty poor event.

    • The items on the exclusion list should be.

I just bought a TV on Sunday for $1195 and now there's an extra 15% off. Is there price protection at JB?

    • +2

You would have to ask and see how it goes. I bought a TV there a couple years ago, next day it was on sale for $2000 less. I went back to the store and they refunded the difference for me fortunately.

    • I did the same thing. I just emailed them to see if they will give me a store credit or refund for the difference. 🤞

      • Any luck, seeing that the voucher has already expired? I did a live chat this morning and they were not very helpful and asked me to ring the store I purchased from. Not sure if I'll have much luck as the voucher's already expired.

        • +1

No reply as of yet. Hopefully because I contacted them tho whilst the voucher was still valid ( with the voucher number, copy of receipt etc ) they will still honour it. 🤷🏻

          • @Suprant: Good luck!

          • @Suprant: @tsuitenaishoujo How did you go with the price drop protection?

I spoke to the manager at the store but wasn't successful in getting the refund for the price difference in a fridge purchased on Fri.
Price drop protection covers advertised prices and not coupon codes. I had used the $50 Perks coupon for the fridge and this is another coupon at 15% off. Their system wouldn't allow them to refund the difference using coupon codes.

  • I mean it's a good voucher… IF you have an expensive purchase to make. Those exclusions tho..

    • Good job, dick

      • +2

        Good job who?

        • Dick, his name… Not sure why the downvotes. All Richards I know prefer to be called Dick once they're an adult.

          • +2

@King Steuart: I saw a similar thing in the comments on youtube a while back.
            He little 'dick'ed him.
Not the respectable Good job, big Dick

          • @King Steuart: I mean there is also Rick, Rich and Richo.
Dick more likely if born 70's or earlier, they stopped defining people by their genitalia since then.

  • Guys, let's goooooooo!

Used it on Bose QC 45. They went up to 500$ for some reason since December last year, and got changed to 399$ just 1 or 2 hours ago.

It stacked with the 15% off code bringing it down to 339.15$, on the same day my QC 35II broke too!

Thanks for the 15% off code @11hobos11

    • +1

Can’t decide on Bose QC45 or Sony XM5!

      • +1

I bought both to compare, I kept SONY XM5. Audio quality Sony wins a mile! Bose sounds like toy to me.

  • +2

Audioengine A2+ Speakers - if anyone is looking to buy those, brings it down to $322.15
