    Got 7kg. Thanks OP

    • +2

Do you many squirrels or chipmunks in your family? ;)

      • +7

Given that the average yearly consumption is 130g, 7kg of macadamia nuts represents 50 years’ worth for one person. Of course, this doesn’t take into account that the average OzBargainer is 50% nuts

  • +2

confused with the free shipping code.. is it free shipping for specific orders only (e.g. over $100)?

    • Yes also keen to find out without going through entering all my details

    • +2

It is restricted to $100+ orders, free shipping is also limited, seemed to be $25 previously but may be lower now or location based as mentioned in comments below.

      • +1

Thanks for your reply, shipping then looks very convoluted.

        • No problem, it's always worked for me to Sydney, you might only need to enter an address to check.

  • +1

NAL, been buying these for a while and just ran out so great timing! Thanks OP got 7kg

  • I also bought 7 kgs as the other 2 guys did.

    • Nice

  • +6

New to this, what's the shelf life like?

    • +2

At least a month. So get 7kg, and munch on 233g per day

      • +7

        Holy nutsack

        • Nibbling on macadamia nuts is indeed a spiritual journey. You have to be a little careful with the saturated fat, though

      • +1

        Mmm 1700 calories

    • -1

I bought some of these with packaging, so they can be given as xmas present. Best before 22/01/2025.

      • These are not deshelled. Based on the serving size in the back there’s only about 80g of nut in each bag.

  • +4

Turns out there is address restrictions on the FREESHIP code as well as the $100 minimum spend

    • +12

Shipping to the moon is quite expensive

      • +32

        I can deliver it.

        • Just remember — no returns

    • +3

      Yes
      $30+ to Port Macquarie

      Killed the deal 🥺

      • +2

Yes well it is very expensive for the rest of us to subsidize you living in a very nice part of the world far away from anywhere. But you could probably buy local up there and it be a decent price

  • 7 kg here too.

  • +1

    Cracking deal, I bought 7kg

    • +4

      Username checks out

  • +3

    Should I get 7kg too…

  • How are these compared to Colesworths'

  • +5

    Got 5kg macadamia + 2kg walnuts = $102

    • +1

      How about deez nuts?

  • +4

Just made an order. I hope your nuts taste as good as they look or I'll be salty.

  • The smoked almonds are really good.

    • +1

      Oh wow
      So tempted

  • +3

$36 shipping WITH the code to Coffs Harbour sadly kills it for me. Bummer as have bought heaps previously but they must have changed this recently.

Wish they'd review as paying a tad more than urban areas is ok - but that much more makes no sense, we're not at the middle of the Nullabor!

    • +2

How many kgs are you getting?
You must keep shipping under $25 for the code to work

      • +3

No, sorry that does not assist.

Trimmed my order down to get postage to $23.63 (and also tried lower) - but when FREESHIP is applied it states it's not able to be used. Seems its as folks say geolocated/limited.

IMHO they need to tweak their regional surcharges as makes t a complete non-starter and doesn't properly reflect their additonal costs to us, which really are there any? I thought Auspost charged pretty flat rates? Perhaps not for commercial customers.

        • +1

Bummer Coffs isn't included, I've updated the title to limited areas instead of the max shipping cost.

    • +2

      Thanks for posting.

Saves me going the process to find out its $36 to Coffs :(

  • Just had a big order last week. Dangit.

  • Ordered 7kg too. free shipping.

  • +3

I'm a bit confused as to why it's a Black Friday sale, but okay!

  • +1

Ordered 0.5 kilograms. This should last me til the expiry date. Thanks OP.

  • Just ordered another 7kg

  • +2

Thanks OP! Just joined the 7kg nutters group. ^^

  • 1 yr shelf life.

    • +2

Really? Someone mentioned 1 month above, that is what is holding me back.

      • +2

        I called and asked.

      • +6

I don't think they really expire/go off as such but I'm guessing they might lose a bit of texture/might get a bit soft.

  • +1
    • is it roasted? or not?

  • +2

Thank you, OP, placed my order.

  • Love macadamias but what’s the trick to keep them fresh for longer?

    • Yeah wondering too.
      Keep them in fridge ?
Or airtight container in a dark space ?

    • +4

      No oxygen. Cold.

    • +5

Vacuum seal in to smaller batches.

      • +2

We vacuum seal portions and freeze.
They thaw to be very nearly as good as when they first arrive.

  • +1

    Freeship no good

  • +1

  • FREESHIP discount code isn’t valid for the items in your cart.

  • Is it cheap than sold in Coles ?

  • +1

    Thanks OP.

Saved a lot, by spending a lot haha.

    But they have good nuts.

  • +2

    Thanks! 5 x macas, 1 x walnut, 1 x choc cranberries. $100.98

  • +1

A better price than raw ones, which are still an excellent price.

Thanks OP, ordered 10kg to Brisbane with free shipping.

    • +1

      Raw is a better product

      • Totally agree, but roasted are still good for some things….especially at that price.

  • Still working?

  • Damn
Arranged with a friend in Brisbane to send to their address to get freeship
Then went back to complete order and freeship is expired !
    😭

    • I just placed an order with FREESHIP and it worked.

Edit: Never mind, saw your latest comment.

  • +1

Update - it was saying freeship not available. Shipping was $47.

I went back and reduced the order to 11kg and now it's showing the freeship !

Quickly completed the order and it was accepted.

I don't know if freeship has been reinstated, or the order was just too heavy

  • +1

I just placed an order for 7Kg. Freeship code still working for me in Sydney.

  • +1

    confirmed still working for SYdney

  • Sadly the raw one is 19.99

  • +1

Got 5kg plus 2kg smoked almonds. FREESHIP worked for me, free express postage to 3165.

  • +2

Maybe FREESHIP is not available over a certain weight

I had 15kg in the order and it wasn't available. Reduced to 11kg and it worked.

  • Love my nuts

    • +1

Is that a statement or a request?

  • +1

Does anyone know how the 5kg macadamia nuts are packaged? Bucket? Sealed bag? Just wanting to know as I want to gift them for overseas visitors.

Edit: nevermind, I'm getting "FREESHIP discount code isn’t valid for the items in your cart" for 5kg of macadamias

    • need 100dollar
