  • If I had an Education account am I better off asking for a loyalty voucher through the Education account or the app, or a normal account?

    I gather the loyalty account doesn't work for Education account purchases so seems to be little point in asking for one through it.

    • Loyalty vouchers dont stack on edu or govt portals. So no point.

        I'm not going to use the voucher in the portal.

        However I have bought everything previously from Samsung through the portal.

        Why would they give a loyalty voucher to someone who (to their knowledge) hasn't bought anything from them before? I want to get the voucher one way or another and just asking for it out of nowhere seems optimistic. People above are saying they have not had any success.

        That's why I'm asking for help on the best way to ask for the voucher.

        • Go to order or support for voucher via live chat. If you go to sales or proudct category, they will ask questions.
          Loyalty voucher is obtained through customer service team and not sales team.

        • I had the same thought but the guy didn't question me at all. Just asked politely if I'm eligible for a loyalty voucher and he gave me one within a 2 minutes

      Get the LG. Better content smoothing for lower quality stuff and Dolby vision support. Samsung is supposedly better for gaming and is slightly brighter. For your use case I think the C3 is the better option

  • Finally ordered for December delivery! Thanks for the tip RE: going live chat through order button (not product). The 15% code finally stacked. I was set on LG G3 77" but I doubt it will go down to 3.6k anytime soon. Mainly used for gaming so happy with this TV.

  • Whos actually managed to get the 15% loyalty discount? They ask for your previous TV and if it isnt a samsung. It just simply does not work.

      Go to order or support for voucher via live chat. If you go to sales or proudct category, they will ask such questions.

      I managed to get the 'loyality voucher code' just by telling the live chat that i'd previously purchased a Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus' mobile phone.
      Which I had (although not directly through Samsung).
      And following XedeX instructions, re: Clicking 'Order' category within the Samsung Store apps live chat.

  • Got the 15% loyalty discount code through "Order" in the live chat.

    Checked that it all stacks and can confirm it does. Will now wait for Friday to see if the extra 5% happens.

  • Just Placed my order this morning (22/11/2023) with the process mentioned here. Got both the discounts. Actually I just had to use the 15% code they gave and the 10% in app was automatically applied. Got 77inch for $3688.83. Thanks @XedeX :)

  • I got nowhere, unfortunately. The code I had wouldn't stack (was using iOS app) so it was either the 10% or the 15%.
    As suggested i went through to the order team in chat and they said that the codes aren't stackable. I had them generate another one with the "V15" but this then wouldn't work in the app.
    Was going to buy the 77, but won't be now knowing others have got it over $400 cheaper…

    • Are you sure you were not in the EDU store through the app ?

      • Yep definitely not. Trying with Bluestacks emulator now - not sure if it will make a difference.

          • @iLikeSales: Yeah, tried with the emulator (on another tv) and didn't stack with my codes. See what tomorrow brings

        • Bluestacks didn't work for me and I think another person in this thread. But I got suggested to use Android studio (check previous comments for a link to a video on how to install) and it worked a charm.

          Spoke to someone on support (on the app being emulated, don't know if that makes a difference), chose the "Order" option and they generated a V15-XXXX etc code that worked on the app, and automatically stacked with the 10% first purchase code.

          Previously spoke to a "Sales" person on the browser store, needed to provide evidence of previous tv and got given a EAV-XXXX type code, which did not stack with 10%, just overwrote it. So the instructions were definitely still working this morning when I bought the 77", maybe give it another go if it comes back in stock.

    Codes stacked for me on the iOS app. Had to empty cart and redo checkout for the "v15" code to properly apply.

    But instead of waiting 6-30 days for delivery from Samsung, I went to JB-HIFI and managed to price match the 65" at $2209 by showing them my samsung checkout lol. Free delivery & arriving tomorrow :)

    Regarding the promo code, Yesterday morning, I asked for promo code straight away and they asked for compliance number proof from old Samsung TV purchase. The promocode(starts with EAV—) worked but did not stack with first order discount.
    The trick is go to any tv menu on website/app, Click add to cart and then click on chat —> Order—> when the representative asks, please tell them to give voucher code starting with V15 and it works with 10% stacking.
    Also went to JB to show them final price for price beat but they straight away told me they can not beat price on pre sale order. Can anyone please confirm that JB does not do price beat on pre sales.

      It worked and the order has been placed (don't really care about the wait) but the 77 ended up being $3,483,89 (15% stacking).

    • No they do one of the ozbargainers did exactly this and they got it straight away on the day. This is why I hate price matching because some stores lie through their teeth so I rather just support the first store that had the sale in the first place. EBGames one of these too. They price match if they want too. So if they dont like you. Tough luck.

      • Yes, I got the price match idea from here when someone did the same. In my case, the Samsung shop app was showing add to cart with pre sale from 13th December when I showed final price to JB hi-fi member and he said that they can not do price match on pre sale items which does not makes sense. My only guess was the store was so busy and he did not have time(he was also giving me bombastic side eye like I asked them to give me TV free of cost ;). Straightaway ordered from Samsung as I don't mind the delivery time.

      Did exactly this, spent an hour in queue, got connected to “Miggy” who said “we don’t have information on this code” (I know you are 100% and there is) that exists, said she/he was unable to assist and offered to connect me to the “Service Team” to see if they were aware of the code. Gave up.

  • Successfully purchased the 77" this morning with the 15% black friday app discount, 15% loyalty discount and $100 trade in for my broken sony. Delivery 13 December.

    I did a chat yesterday and selected orders, then asked if I was eligible for a loyalty discount as I had purchased phones through them before and they provided a code within a minute.

    Total price came down to $3411.64!

      • The voucher is specific to category - different ones for phones vs TV.
        If it's not working in guessing it's not usable on your product?
        Otherwise the LV should be stackable

        • Thanks for that! The loyalty voucher i got works, so it does discount it however it automatically removes the first app discount. So unsure if its item based specific where you can stack.

              • @Kobe1027: The app is a bit finicky, so keep playing around. If it's a loyalty voucher it will stack.

  • just checking in, anyone get their TV on "attempted delivery" and been home all day? im so pissed they used ANC Delivers I just checked their ratings and its all bad and it seems to be an occuring issue. Sent emails to their head office but I doubt they would reply and I asked Samsung if I could get a refund and they said they cannot as its still in delivery mode when they marked it as delivered.

    If anyones reading right now anyone have any thoughts on what my next steps are?

      Samsung delivered my QN90B earlier in the year using ANC. ANC changed the delivery date twice on me, no notification or anything. When it did arrive it was two Indian guys in a rental truck. They were super rough with how they handled the TV, even knowing I was standing there. TV was fine, box was banged up.

    Just letting you folks know 77" is back in stock - got it at $3611. After 10% + 15% voucher + trade in ($100). Returned a 65" I bought at JB over the weekend to snag this one instead.

    I was able to get JBHIFI to price match the S90c 77 inch oled TV at $3688. They minus $88 to cover delivery fees.

    • I went on jbhifi live chat to get them to price match. I followed the procedure posted in this thread to get the 10% first purchase and stack the 15% loyalty discount.

  • For those who missed outon Black Friday, the 77" is back in stock and the 10% first purchase and 15% loyalty diacount still stacks. About 3700 which is probably 200 more due to the missing 5% discount
