As an aside, does anyone have any thoughts on Temple & Webster? I always thought it was a decent brand but on closer look, it seems like the name is crafted to intentionally give that impression, and it's actually like the Kogan of furniture?

      I like the site. Stuff is of varying quality but all the popular items have lots of reviews and photos etc.
      
      There’s always some sort of sale on so don’t assume the price you’re seeing on a given day is good - you’d do best to track over a month or so if not in a rush.

This is actually really good for luxury escapes, the only restriction is it’s capped at $10k per transaction($500 x 20) so that means you can get $1500 off a $10k holiday, plus the great discounts that they have on holidays already makes this a pretty good offer

    The max you can buy from Amazon is 10k and the max you can load to one gift card is $500 ( so you would buy 20x. You then go to your account on LE and add the 20 to your account to pay for the holiday you choose

I've used Luxury Escapes 3 times, with 2 being great value (Port Stevens and KhaoLak) but the 3rd average (Hunter Valley). Check the inclusions for their value to you, then decide. I've already got 2 more to do!
The discounted gift cards sound great but is 15% off enough to cover the risk if one is not planning on using it for at least say12 months? For example, what protection do we have if any of these Companies goes broke - receivership and/or liquidation? I'm assuming the usual…somewhere between nothing and 3 cents in the dollar, about 2 or 3 years down the track.

So I booked on luxury escapes earlier, I paid whole amount with gift cards. Gift cards added etc.
I got an email after I made booking to say payment failed (gives you no reference number or anything)
My account has no record of the booking and my account isn't in credit.
The gift cards now tell me the have already been redeemed
Support actually doesn't put you through to anyone but they take your number and apparently ring you back
