    Looks great.

    Is anyone actually booking this?

    If so, which booking platform?

I dabbled with some dates (on Google Flights), and for circa $1750 return you can fly there, and include a 7 day layover in Bangkok on the return.

But the booking agent is "kiss and fly" - seems sketchy.

    • +4

Expedia, Booking.com or Aunt Betty (owned by Flight Centre) are generally well trusted options.

      • +2

No problems IMO with the Etraveli group agents (Mytrip/Gotogate/Flight Network) as well - just pay with right payment method and don't change any details.

        Trip.com is very legit too

      • +3

Had a terrible time with aunty Betty and canceled flight’s before

    • +1

Mix of agents, I see a few Flight Centre group agents (e.g. Aunt Betty/byojet) on some of the sample days, also Kiwi at a bit higher price.

    • How did you get it to to schedule such a long layover in BKK?

      • +4

I just entered the normal return dates on Google Flights, then used those dates (and added my own layover in) in multi city booking via Google Flights.

        • Thanks - didn't know this was possible. Now I'm tempted. Did you end up booking?

        • +3

@movieman thank you so much. you are a genius! I just used your method and booked it with a 9 day stop at bangkok

Xmas and NYE in bangkok on business class for $1726!

    • Isn't it best to book direct with the airline? I've read that it's much more difficult trying to get a refund from a booking platform. If the airline cancels the flight you need to be refunded by the airline, not the platform

      • If this gets cancelled and I got credit card insurance does this mean I can claim the cost of these flights as well as alternate flights?

        • +2

So you want insurance to refund you flight as well as pay for new business class flights. I.e. you will fly for free. Keep dreaming haha.

Read your PDS but you most certainly won't be covered for price errors.

  • They pay you?

  • Price error. So the party is over?

    • +2

      Price error started the party

    • +1

      Price error is the party

  • -1

One of the agent has a rating of 1.5 on Skyscanner

    • Go with Booking, Agoda or Aunt Betty, they are all fine.

    • why

  • Flights are available during the Easter break period too, it's a shame it's the wet season over there during that time. Very tempting otherwise.

    • -4

      shame it's the wet season

Nothing wrong with some Rwandan WAP

    • What’s a good season over there then?

      • +2

The best time to visit Rwanda is during the dry seasons from June to September and December to February. These drier periods see ideal trekking conditions for tracking mountain gorillas and chimpanzees with little to no mud especially on steep paths.

  • had to look up where kigali was

  • +1

It looks like the price is available for 1 adult.
Once a family is added, then the price goes up to 6K (each additional ticket)

    • Pretty sure you should be able to sit together in business if booking individually

      • Managed to book multiple tix in one go no problemo

        • +1

Can you tell me what booking class it falls into?

        • Interesting. I was trying 30th Dec – 8th Jan trip. May be it is sold out.

  • +1

    I love a Bangkok layover.

  • wakanda would be better for sightseeing

  • Oh now I can tell that Rwandan price that sent me an email I can go there and get the money in person. :-)

  • +3

I think Kenya Airways is currently running a status match …. I think their program is called Asante , just search google for Asante Kenya status match , if you happen to have status with another airline that they will match

    • Yeah I got matched to their Platinum using my Qatar Platinum Status

  • Anyone travelled Kenyan airways business class before?

  • what are the chances the airline will cancel?

  • how do i make this work from sydney

    • +3

You book a $50 flight to Melbourne a couple hours before departure.

      • +1

        $50? woah

  • Book at your own risk. Always a chance the airlines could cancel your ticket.

It's risky if one airline cancels and the second one doesn't.

  • Possible to layover in NBO more than KGL?
Looks like more fun in NBO than KGL

  • -1

How can this possibly be not a scam or pricing error? Same flights on return to China or BKK are 3 x the price in business, let alone having the longer flight to Kigali. Reviews show KISS&Fly have incorrect pricing or even show business but put you in economy and then the nightmares begin trying to get your refund or they want more money to upgrade.

I'd be keen to book but not sure I'm keen to take a risk. How it's so much cheaper than ANY other online booking platform is a red flag.

  • You could take a side trip to Wakanda

  • Looked at a few dates
    $1692 via Jetzy to JetAbroad
$7,000 via Aunt Betty or Booking.com so clearly price error via the above two (much cheaper) sites; almost guaranteed cancellation?

    • Confirmed pricing error by the site OP found out about the deal https://www.secretflying.com/posts/error-fare-business-class…

I was going to book, but given it's so much cheaper than anyone else, I can't see the agent covering the costs for potentially many many booked flights. It would be a refund or a nightmare to arrange a refund given what I've read about the booking agents. Big rip, I just planned a big trip to China, Rwanda and was going to take a flight to Egypt too :(

      • Yeah agree, such a shame it’s a pricing error and not a genuine, one-in-a-lifetime bargain!

      • It was bookable from some of the largest/reputable OTAs like Orbitz and Expedia when it was first posted but not anymore.
