Yeah it's a pain trying to use the remaining balance as the Woolworths card on Special is a prepaid credit card. Easier to buy the super shopper, then purchase the Wish so you can use Everyday Pay.
How do we buy Wish gift card using the super shopper gift card? There is no option to enter gift card on the Woolworth gift card payment page

Extra steps on the screen and slow to open the Specials app to find the remaining balance.
You can give your card a nickname - at least with Google pay. So i usually set that to the balance of the card.
Remember to use the gift card immediately because Special are cvnts that will happily cancel a card and take your money.

No you need to purchase the 'super shopper' card from Special, then use the 'super shopper' card to purchase discounted wish gift cards from the discounted woolworths gift card portals. People have access to them at 3/4% off via various membership programs like NRMA, Aus Unity, Studentedge etc.

The last time there was an offer with Special I purchased a Woolworths gift card from Special which loaded it into my mobile wallet as if it were a credit card. I could use this Woolworths card to buy a Wish gift card at the self serve register in store at Woolworths. Given it the
Super Shopper via the Woolworths gift card portal loophole has been closed I think this is the best way to clear out the GC from Special's control quickly.

Last time this same offer was on most people like me had issues receiving the credit because it was not tracked. Required chasing up and took over a month to eventually get it.

it said this before as well, but seems like it wasn't closed off to Woolies gift card. Confirmed working with my account, but when doing it with my partner account it gave this "Something went wrong" error. Most likely they have closed this loop hole.
I just had to spend my $200 on Amazon gift card. There is a $2 promotional credit if buying gift cards over $75 and using code "GIFTCARD" (not sure if this is targeted). Better than nothing I guess.
You can always wait for a better deal, minimum 5% bonus in my view, e.g.. Never support this kind of peanut/ants deal. Since this AmEx deal ends on 14 Jan, use it later if you do not trust Special to hold the fund now.

There is nothing wrong with your Amex card; it's just their system refusing to process our payment.

I just went the direct Woolies one, added it to my Google Wallet, then bought a Wish gift card for the same value in-store.
It may not work @ the new store that has not been added to the list. It may not work @ a Metro location.

Do you mean the entire Woolworths Group because the Super Shopper card was already confirmed as not working at Woolworths Supermarkets before this deal was posted. It specifically states this in the Super Shopper card description (emphasis mine):

For a period of time you could use this card on the Online Gift card portal to purchase a discounted Wish GC but that loophole now appears to be closed.
Now Neoika has confirmed that you can use the Super Shopper at Big W or K-Mart to convert from Super Shopper to Wish or Coles Myer Group.

I did not buy a "Super Shopper", but as others have pointed out, that one should work at Big W (and Kmart for Coles) to do the same thing.
So currently, the pathway is:
Buy Special Card for Woolworths -> add to digital wallet -> go in-store to any Woolworths -> buy Wish gift card
Buy Super Shopper card -> add to digital wallet -> go in-store to any Big W (or Kmart for Coles) -> buy Wish gift card (or Coles one)
It seems like it is no longer possible to double dip and get an additional 4% or 5% from buying the discounted gift cards online, which I believe was what the issue was.
@highwind: I tried to buy a gift card from woolworths site when I click on "Credit or Debit Card" payment there is no longer any text fields for the CC number and expiry. Maybe there is something wrong with the woolworths payment system.
