  Warning. This cannot be integrated with Home Assistant as yet. Can be paired with Tuya, however home assistant has no entities for it.

        Try LocalTuya. I would avoid Tuya official where possible to minimise cloud dependency

  Is it complex to install? Interested but don't want to spend 2 hours to try out. And my garage opener is fairly old with tilt type of door. Read somewhere certain smart opener only works with certain door type. Thanks

    I'm also interested to know. I did a quick search couldn't find any information on how to install. Do we need to connect the wires of the motor to device?

    Have a look at the back of your motor, it should have terminals. Download the installation manual and it shows you how to test it with a piece of wire…
    My motors are quite old, i actually have a wall switch that is hard wired. So will work for me.

    It has wires you'd need to connect to your garage opener. Some research needed on which terminal you'd use on your device. The usual app installation and linking it to your google home or apple environment would take of a bit of time. There's also a pin that would need to be setup for 'Hey Google' to actually open the garage door for you which is a good function i think. It also has a sensor that would need to be linked.
