It still amaze me how two strangers can make a deal with that amount of money, especially when the same item can be have for the same price from a reasonable reliable company online.

Currently using pixel 5, should I upgrade simply for longer support, warranty and improvement to gaming?
Does this overheat and is it decent upgrade for gaming? Wildrift and cod mobile?

If you care about security of your device i would strongly suggest you update. I recently went from a Pixel 5 to a Pixel 7 and then traded that in for a Pixel 8 and it felt like a significant improvement of the device in almost all aspects.
I was going to wait for the 8. But I damaged my 5. Got a 7 instead. The fingerprint sensor is a serious downgrade. The phone is larger and heavier. Battery life is worse than the 5 IMO (my 2 year old 5 felt like it had better battery than the brand new 7).
I'd wait for a great deal on the 8 personally. And get even longer OS/security support.
That being said. The 7 hasn't missed a beat outside the above issues.. I only have concerns for long term battery health I guess.
Can someone confirm that items paid with gift card in JB hi-fi show GST on the receipt (for TRS). There was a thread here a few years back about issues with this.
Nothing to do with payment type. GST always showed on Tax invoice.

You should be able to get 5% off gift cards quite easily if you look around a little
You are tlking about buying a third party card, which can be difficult to use at times, not worth it for 1% different. 10% deal are ok.
NIB is right out JB card which is much easier to use.
