Is there a way to download the app if you haven't got a working Samsung phone to start with ? My google playstore ( Oppo phone) says not compatible. Is there a web version ? I own a Samsung smart watch if that helps.
You can also get the CME code by going to Samsung live chat on their website and waiting to speak to a person and telling them you want to get the S24 ultra - they'll give you a $200 CME code which is the same as the one from the app.

@CodeXD: Actually not correct, this is an issue if there's a Watch and a band in the order. I have a case and screen protector as well.
While selecting the Watch the Band gets selected as well and picking up reasons does nothing.
Meanwhile if I pick only the case or the screen protector one by one it gives me the option to confirm cancellation :/

I tried this, accidentally tho. The problem was that the payment was not automatically adjusted (paid with Afterpay). You might risk having to deal with Samsung to process manual refund, or get the whole order cancelled.
All in all, it was too much risk and uncertainty for me, and I called them to get the whole order cancelled and put in another order.
The refund comes later. It will appear as credit on your after pay order.
Cancelled the cases in my order. I hope they process the refund to my paypal, the email only mentions a return of my samsung points but doesn't mention a refund to PayPal….

I'm struggling to get some of this process working properly. I can't seem to manually log into my education account using the store app on my phone as it auto-logs me in to my regular Samsung account.
I also can't seem to select the condition of my 'trade-in' to select a scratched screen, for a $1 trade-in that won't be sent back.
Any tips?
try login to ur edu account on chrome first. then login in the app then it should auto connect when u go to edu portal in the app
I had to remove my normal samsung account from the phone and add a new samsung account with the edu email.

It's quite dumb why you can't manually type in which account you want to log in with, but I guess that's Samsung for you :p
While in the app click on my page, then under your name at the top it will say Samsung Online Store, click on it and at the bottom you will see two options one for education and one normal store. Select one and it will change the page to reflect the correct store.
It is so good that the codes nicely stack up. Through my work EPP, I managed to snag S24 Ultra 512 GB + Galaxy watch 6 Silver (Bluetooth, Bespoke, no wrist band) + A clear case + 1 Year Samsung care+ for $1107 (includes a trade in of $380 for my Pixel 7 Pro). The best pre-order deal ever :).
So anyway, Samsung tell me that there is a problem ordering via the business partner offers link on Westpac, and that they are already aware of the issue and support is trying to fix it. Just not sure when that will be, I am waiting! Westpac has 20% off the RRP of the phones, and then you get less of everything that you would on the normal retail site, such as $250 bonus trade-in discount instead of $350, etc. Most of the other codes will work fine and all like eco vouchers. But it still can work out a lot less if you do it this way. Only problem is your trade-in never appears on the order page (and no opportunity to add it later).
So I'll just be waiting here for you to fix it Samsung. When and if that ever happens.is this for consumers? Westpac EPP has disappeared from my Rewards and Offers page.
Yes, they moved crap around, it's annoying. But it's still there and actually slightly more discount equiivalent to the other ones 20%. but if you login on a web browser, once you get to the main accounts view scroll down, it's there under business partner offers. Similarly, on your app it's I think under the main page if you scroll down..

It's supposed to arrive on the 29th. In the past couple of years, it's arrived a day before launch. Just because it's shipped doesn't mean it will get delivered asap.
When Apple ships, they put a special not 'not to delivered prior to so and so date. Let's see what Samsung did!

@furythree: when your payment goes through. go to your order page. sometimes its awaiting approval (you need to wait until its order accepted). If it goes through and is immediately order accepted, you can cancel order, then select the accessories to cancel whilst leaving the phone and samsung care

In the discounted stores, the 512GB model is at the regular price - not at the same base price as the 256GB model (before the 20% discount). I'm not sure how they got it so far down to $651, though!

The double memory isn't offered on the EDU store so the 256gb model is available to purchase.
When the accessory vouchers are applied ($150 and $200) for some reason the shopping cart reduces the prices of all the items to reflect the value of the voucher. I don't know why Samsung does it that way but you can basically ignore the cost of the phone. I'm essentially paying $891 for the phone and getting everything else for free.
Samsung reduces the cost across the card based on value of goods and making it prorated.
That's so the discount doest apply to only certain items and people would obviously be able to delete the other making certain items realistically free.
Granted i wanted the 512 model. the total should be only 150-200 more than yours.

the stupid invoice only mentions the $350 trade in, the $150 ecosystem and the 200$ bonus trade in vouchers. and 5% app. So there $350 missing in discounts unaccounted for

Should be quite the upgrade especially in terms of CPU and GPU speeds (double or triple performance, I think?). And… no longer having to deal with an Exynos chipset is a bonus (although the phone and camera on my S21 became significantly better on UI 5.0 compared to launch). Hopefully no more poor, battery-draining reception for Wi-Fi and Mobile too with the latest antenna. And the larger battery is very welcome along with efficiency improvements.

From what I've seen there are 3 ways to get CME code.
- Targeted email from Samsung
- Samsung live chat
- Samsung members app
That user specifically said they stacked 1 and 3, but from what I've read people are trying to stack 2 and 3.

As far as I'm aware you can't stack CME coupons. I tried last night and adding the second one deletes both.

what you pick makes no difference except for the $. The closer your total accessories to 350, the better. What samsung does is evenly split 350 across all items in cart
I think what @OZcheepsk8 wrote is correct. Seems to be closer to $350 the cheaper the phone part of the order is.
@JL1: Yes. It's spot on. I tested the math with my initial tablet purchase as the selected accessory. Had to cancel the order and reorder with accessories value closer to $350 to optimise the discount.

Fold 5 has a bigger screen but ultra definitely has much better camera. What's your experience of fold 5 and what made you changed back to ultra?
Fold 5 was great for productivity/work but i also like to game on my phone and its abit awkward on that screen and and i found the outside screen abit to narrow and had issues typing every now and then. Battery life is also not as good but still enough. Also is the inevitable hinge failure, but all in all its a good phone but given i also use for game i prefer the candy bar phone style, camera was fine for me on my trip overseas.
I agree that the outer screen is too narrow to type. Just the inner big screen made me stay on fold. Ultra definitely has better camera and battery life. Most importantly, the charging speed is much faster on ultra. Fold has slow 25w charging which takes way too long to charge.
But Fold 5 512gb is worth 1400 on mobile monster or 1350 with scratches. So thats probably what I'll do unless I can be bothered with eBay

I did an original order but didn't add the members discount so when I cancelled i was refunded within hours for the full amount. Prior to cancelling that order I cancelled the accessories and heard nothing.
Ive done a new order now to maximise discount but lose the 5% app discount.. hopefully they refund the accessories. Not sure how a return will work if we get the phone with no accessories and end up not getting a refund.

Yes that's normal. Some of the accessories discount appears on the phone. You actually want more of the discount to end up on the phone because you're refunding the accessories

Because Samsung will split the $350 ($150 + $200) accessories discount between the phone and the accessories. So if you get a tablet as an "accessory" at $900++ for example, you waste more of the discount allocation to the tablet, whose order you are going to cancel. Whereas if your accessories total value is around the $350-360 mark, then your effective discount allocated to the phone is maximised – should be ballpark $280 to $285 discount applied the phone based on others and my experience.
I bought 2x buds pro2 as the accessories and cancelled them. My S24 Ultra 256gb line item was $972.77 ($5 trade in item value)

I've worked out that it is better optimised to have as few items in the cart as possible as well, the discount looks to be spread out % wise across all items.
So having phone + 3 accessories means the discount is spread across 4 items, thus making the phone cheaper.
Max items of 6 or 7 per cart btw

Had the same issue just a couple weeks ago with a galaxywatch6. Was faulty on arrival and they refused to refund, forced me to get it repaired. Meanwhile i got a late fee on my watch4 trade in. There's basically nobody to escalate to, they make it impossible to speak to anybody on the phone and don't call back when they say they will. Anyway i ended up giving up and keeping the repaired watch6, and had to email the CEO office to get the trade in people to agree to refund my late fee. Yet to actually receive the late fee refund though.
If you read their ts&cs it says refund is at their discretion, not the customers request…That sucks. Hopefully it doesn't come down to that. I used PayPal to pay, I'll just let them deal with it.

I used the aforementioned discount codes including unique CME one for extra trade in value.
I have a galaxy note 9, which they were only going to give $95 value.
I submitted for trade in my old galaxy watch ($5 value) but you need something to trade in to benefit from the two bonus trade ins, (approx $450) in total.
Basically I got $450 of value out of my old watch (people sell them for about $70 on FB marketplace)
What you can also do:
Go and find and buy as good condition as possible one of the eligible trade in watches, should set you back about $70-80. Add the discount codes to get your $450 of valueOh I didn't know you could trade two devices to get double bonuses. Not that I really had another device to trade though. Perhaps could have traded two of my watches

Yes, I believe so. The S21 sells for about $300-$400 on FB/eBay, but my wife didn't want to mess around with tyre kickers and what's your final price slingers for the <$100 hassle.

I did. I stuffed up my order this morning, ignorantly using a tablet as my accessories (which I was going to cancel), thereby wasting my discount. Called Samsung to cancel everything and reissue me a new trade-in bonus voucher $200 since I exhausted my first one, and got trade-in team to cancel my trade in device, but because of call volumes, they couldn't complete the cancellation until 48h (no charges, btw), so luckily I had another device to provide trade-in details for my reorder this arvo. Discounts successfully optimised!

i've tried my absolute best to buy a s24 snapdragon from the US and it's basically impossible without a US credit card. they have overly strict prohibition rules when it comes to what billing address goes in the order. plenty of stories where you might be able to circumvent the order page and get a confirmation, only for the order to be cancelled after. bestbuy even actively ensures goods don't get sent to freight forwarders.
The retailers i've tried are Samsung US and bestbuy. I would've paid about $1,275aud just for the base S24 with only 256gb, or with the offer, i could've gotten 3 cases (leather, silicon and shield) for $1,321aud. Then I would've had to pay the forward shippers another $45 to get it to me in WA via DHL.
At which point, i find it difficult to justify the purchase anymore. I do like everything about the S24 bar the exynos chip, but i need more reviews to at least prove it performs better than the SD8Gen2, especially with battery life before i commit to a local handset. Even the idea of going back to exynos irks me or the fact that Samsung is willing to screw over Global customers just like that.

The S21 cost me approx. $500 when it was first released. There was a similar 'deal' at the time.
Same here. S21 still going strong but for the price and locking in another 7 years of os updates why not upgrade. Will just have to wait and see how long it takes to get used to the larger phone.
This may be a stupid question: I've never done a trade-in. If i'm happy to trade in a value something of $1 or $5 to get the bonus but have no intention of actually sending in a device and accept up to a $60 fee, do i need to provide a serial number or a real IMEI for a phone or other device during the ordering process for a S24 ultra ???

Any experience with Samsung care device refresh? Thinking about getting this done before i send my trade in as there's a couple very light scratches on my screen but worried i won't get it back in time. They say two business days but is this accurate? They also say it depends on stock levels which makes me nervous.

I traded in previously with small scratches and even a small dent. They do send out the new device quite quickly the only issue would be to log into your care plus account and see if there is any device available for exchange.

Keep checking as they restock daily based on my experience with S22 Ultra exchange. You even have the option to choose a different colour so if you have the exclusive colour you might end up exchange to the different colour or wait until your colour come up.
@SR9: Don't really have time now. I've lodged my s22 ultra for trade in. The scratches are minor but there's a couple of them, they don't impact the usage of the phone. I just don't want the trade in people to reduce the value because of them. Will see what happens.
I just sent my s22 ultra for a refresh a day before the launch. Costs me $45 for screen replacement (no other defects). I still have not heard back from them, and it has already reached their facility.
Now, after the launch I traded in the same phone with the IMEI code for $555. Let's see what happens. I did call them to make sure they don't send the device for trade-in when my screen is broken, and they promised me that it is highly unlikely for it to happen. Will update once they communicate.

Anyone having issues applying Samsung Reward points? When I apply it, instead of deducting the amount, it adds the amount to the order, making it more expensive with it… And GALAXYAI code disappears.
I figured out why. It's because the reward points reduces the accessories spend, so I ended up add another item and GALAXYAI came back.

What accessories do you have? Someone commented saying that watch/watch band won't let you cancel for some reason. So if you ordered that, then don't select it and see if the rest of them cancels.

i've been trying to order for hours to buy a S24 ultra . First the $350 of accessories i picked some didn't appear at the end to apply the GALAXYAI code so it failed. I was going via the Shop app , then selecting the educational portal.
I then tried on the desktop web browser. Now when i get to accessories, the web page appears but a blue line goes across the screen like a timer . it won't let me click on anything on the web page . looks like its overloaded ? tried 2 different web browser . Any one else ?
Also to clarify , some instructions say DO NOT select trade in at the start of the process , say no, then add a trade in at the end after you've added the GALAXYAI code on the later screen . Is this correct ?

i'm on the edu store on samsung shop app and it won't take any of my payment methods. it just dumps me back to the payment details screen. then it logs me out of the app after multiple tries.

Incredibly frustrating for me. I've tried on 2 computers, 2 mobile phones with the Samsung shop app with different Samsung accounts (one was education and the other a regular one) and each time I get to the payment step, I can't proceed further.
Ive tried GPay, and 3 different credit cards but it would ask for my security code, I would key it in and it'll just get returned to the payment page like nothing happened.
Same with GPay. I've tried this at least 5 times, clearing the cart and redoing it and was even willing to order without education discount on my standard Samsung account because I just wanted to narrow down what the problem was.

Yes, the funds were deducted. I tried paying but it didn't load so I just retried on app and browser a few times. For the order that succeeded, I actually just closed the page when it 'failed' to process my card.

One of my orders is waiting approval from yesterday night. I checked with the sales team and was told that it needs to be manually approved by the tier 2 support team who may not be available on the weekend. He said they will get it approved on Monday.

Yeah from memory you can return them within 14 days of receiving them. You will get the discounted price on the invoice, but that's what you would've gotten if you'd cancelled them anyway.
That's what I thought too. They'll be taking away some of the credit they gave for returning a device this way though.

I would assume the refund would be the difference between what you paid for the phone and what you have been charged for the entire order. Given that they apply the discount to each items you should get back what was charged for the accessories. Unless it is buried deep in one of their T&Cs I doubt they will alter what was charged for the phone.
Whoever cancelled the accessories partially or completely, can you pls confirm if you have received the full refund without changes/impact to the entire order?

I've done this with a previous order for an S23U, had to add 2 accessories for 20% off bonus, cancelled the accessories and still kept the bonus for the phone.

They will still be individually boxed.
You will have to accept the whole box and then return what you need to via a return postage.
Items will be in in their individual packaging obviously.
@keepsmiling: You need to email Samsung saying you want to return xxx product(s).
Make sure you have the order number, full name and address of the order.
Then take pictures of the unopened item that you want to return from different angles, specifically showing the seal to show it is unopened.
They will then email you eParcel Returns label with instructions on how to use it. You do not need to print it out. You can reuse the bubble wrap packaging that your items came in. Take it to Auspost and show them the barcode and Auspost will do the rest.

I am not receiving OTP emails to my gov email from samsung epp store to complete purchase, there is no option to select mobile OTP. Yep, I know someone with a Department of Defence email which was blocking the OTP email for trade up. No workaround unfortunately. Only way is to find someone to buy for you or try a edu account if you happen to have one of those.
mine is defence email. I do receive other samsung emails just not OTP which happened to be first time. Previous orders, samsung did not send OTP's to gov email.
Is it the one from Asurion, the trade in provider? I think that one isn't from Samsung so possibly the mail filter is flagging it for some reason. Note mail filters typically look at the content and structure of emails, so could be a dodgy written email from a legit address that's still filtered out.
Defence must have more aggressive filtering for obvious reasons!

turns out they were being held in quarantine and i had to manually release the emails.

true that, i have logged a job with ICT dept, but i highly doubt they will release the emails based on my individual request.
This is basically the problem at organisations email filtering setup, which is quite difficult to pass through.
There are 3 possible options,
1. Check with ur organisation if they can assist with an exception in email which is highly unlikely.
2. Do tradeup separately via. Asurion app using a different email and use the tradeup ID generated into your order.
3. I think you can modify ur email in your samsung account to something local while still maintaining ur EPP/Gov profile. This should let flow further communication to flow to the new email configured.

I cancelled whole order (from samsung.com) when i wanted to claim first 500 watches as i suspected jotform claim firm was fraudulent. and went through EPP.
They may have prioritised me as i said i suspected it was fraud.
Also, what is worrying is the details they used to confirm me as the legit person was the details we had to provide in the jotform… someone could potentially misdirect your order

Most of the time, Samsung doesn't send you the tracking number until you receive the item.

Yup, I was hoping some else might have received the tracking.
In the past few years, phone has always arrive a day or two before the official release date which is the 29th.
Apple on the other hand makes sure it gets delivered on a particular day and nothing before that.

Last year they contacted me on 28 February, and my phone order was placed on 2nd February. If I have to guess, it will be after your phone's return period has ended.

So i know everyone says you only get charged the holding amount if you do not return your phone. Reading Samsungs website, it now clearly states Samsung may charge you any bonuses applied to the order if you do not return the phone. It never used to say that.

There's always been wording to that effect. History says that you won't be charged the bonus credit. But with each new release there is some level of risk.
It's always been there but at the same time let's say Samsung wants to charge the bonus applied, orders made via PayPal and Aftwrpay etc can't be charged unless it has the buyers permission. If Samsung is listed as an automated payment approver in your PayPal list, you can remove it

Yep me too. I traded in my watch a few weeks ago and got charged too. There was a delay with sending it in as my new watch was faulty so i even ended up having to pay the charge as my statement came due. They should really only be taking a pre-authorisation, not actually charging the money.

I've reached out via live chat and they told me the shipped status just means the stock is allocated for shipping. I assume the tracking info will be updated once the shipment is scanned and boarded onto the truck. Will wait and see if something happens today to have delivery tomorrow, otherwise best case Monday delivery.

Will the website allow you to use the same phone again and what happens to the trade in money they already charged.
I don't think it will let you use the same device again for a trade-in since the imei would already be locked in. I read in some other comment that they contacted support and the device might be released in few days.

Can't use the trade in again. You will need to contact Asurion to cancel the trade in which is a pain. Will take at least a couple of days before they get back to you to cancel the trade in code.
I have done it in the past. Yes the website will allow you to use the phone again. When the order cancels, in a couple of weeks, the trade in you used will be cancelled too.
If it doesn't work, Asurion has a portal now, try and see if you can self cancel.
If you don't post your trade-in to Asurion, then obviously there is no refund for the trade-in value and you are charged $60 …. but do you still keep the bonus trade-in discounts?
In past experience yes you keep the trade in bonuses. But it blacklists the phone from ever being reused in a trade in deal in the future. And it's impossible to get it removed from the blacklist. It's not so much a blacklist other than a database discrepancy that stops future trade ins of the same device from working.
Thats not correct. I traded in S20FE in past and never returned it. And used it this time again for trade in. Didn’t face any issues. I guess they don’t bother whether you return the device or not as they do charge you the trade in value plus $60 fee on top.
I can confirm this. I was able to reuse an IMEI this year.
But also I agree with the other comment regarding blocking device. It has happened in the past when there was the trade up app. If you were using the app on an already traded device, it will block you out.
@CodeXD: You can just delete data and cache for the trade up app and that will generate a new one too
@Oh Daddy: what i do is screenshot the Trade ID and uninstall the app i think it doesn't block you out if you say trade up app block people i think but need fact check it with other people cause i did it with my S10FE and never been block out and my parent is using it currently still working

My faith in AU post is low ATM. I posted my defective Sonos speaker last Friday. I've watch it go from QLD to NSW to VIC, then overnighted back to Brisbane and is currently back at the post office I dropped it into (not ready for pick up, just there). I assume it takes 5 business days for refund which is by today 🤔I am ordering via defence email (gov.au). I am not receiving OTP emails from check out page (asurion), entered IMEI numbers of trade in devices, next page the OTP is sent to gov email. Since 5 days, i have spoken with samsung chat, calls, emails. There is no resolution.
The trade up app only gives in store trade in ID's only. Any ideas how to get OTP to defence gov email?

i cant see that option to add secondary email in gov store. Where did u see in edu store? In my account, i can see primary and billing address, no field to put in email address.
Change your primary to other, I dont think it has to be your govt email.Your Samsung account doesn't need to be registered on your govt ID.
You may need to work out a second alias for your gov email e.g. Usually there is like a 3 letter code email address plus a fullname email address.
Register again with the gov store with the alternate gov email address, but then link it to a Samsung account that is not your gov email.
The gov email is only required to validate your eligibility and doesn't need to be your samsung account email address.

For those who aren't getting the Samsung branded phone cases, what cases have you ordered? I've been a loyal Spigen user but am not too hot on their cases after having corner damage on my S22U from dropping the phone in Spigen cases.
Spigen Rugged Armor cases havent let me down on any previous phones so have ordered one of those. Will primarily use a quadlock case when they release sometime mid Feb.
My current case is a Rugged Armor (albeit a slimmer design one) which is why I'm reluctant to go with it again given recent poor experience
I have been using case and screen protectors from JETech for all my phones for the last few years. Never disappointed me. Fingerprint scanner also works with these screen protectors:

My OCD doesn't like the case with a large cutout around the lenses…I usually only buy cases with individual cutouts for the maximum protection.
They do have camera protectors too for maximum protection. Check their store.

The JETech looks good aside from the camera lens cut out. @descavenger: I tried their silicon cases before. Attract a lot of lint and dust, and quite slippery to grip too. But this one is mentioned as TPU, so might be better than the silicon ones.
Will it stick on any metal surface and not fall off , like during driving ?
Usually buy Spigen, Ringke, and Supcase. ESR for tablet cases too. I also like card cases from VRS (Verus).
For S24U I bought a cheap Xundd case and a Tongate case which looks similar to Supcase, from Aliexpress.
Spigen cases have become more expensive over the years and not as good value, especially with ones with Magsafe.

ESR cases are good too but thicker and bulkier than the JETech ones the link of which I posted above.
How do you know they are thicker and bulkier? Slightly bulkier likely means slightly better protection from drops.

Ive used spigen tough armour previously, as a heavy phone dropper can attest to it being rock solid. But its bulky and not the best looking.
Do clear cases tend to offer less protection? Would like to go clear for appearance but they tend to not feel as strong.
Most clear cases regardless of brand will "yellow" overtime.
Yea that's been my experience too. I usually stick with all black nowadays. But I've gone with the titanium grey and I'm keen to see that colorway so might try a clear case again.
Have you considered Mous? I've been using it for my Note20U and it's saved my phone on so many occasions. Would probable get one for my new S24U too.
I took a quick look. Seems like they've got slick designs but the lack of camera lens protection and steep price is a bit off putting. Anything in particular you like about them?
@Emblex: The fact that I've dropped my note from various heights on various surfaces and it's still undamaged - that's what I like about it and the wooden back on the case ages really well and develops character. I've never had an issue with the lack of extra glass over the camera, ymmv. They're a highly rated case. Or you could look at Dbrand?

Took me 2 months to receive a replacement for my S23U. Fine if you only have wear and tear that you want fixed, but if you have an issue like a drop and broken screen then you're at the mercy of their useless support team.
Was this for a refresh? I've been thinking of doing a swap but it sounds like there's no S22U stock… So might be running out of time against my 2 year care +.

I've had kick stands on cases fail over time due to the hinge on the stand weakening. I've been thinking of getting something like a peak design mobile tripod that isn't too big and I can carry it around separately to use when travelling. Would be nice if it can support a tablet as well. Still on the hunt though, hard to justify the cost of the PD tripod.

I bought a spigen liquid air for regular s24. Previously had spigen thin fit on s22 and was good, but of protection and almost no bulk. Liquid air seems same but better texture.
First choice for a case is Spigen Liquid Air, but the Mrs. has called a permanent dibs on it so I have to choose a different case for me.
Caseology Vault was a great case for my S21, but I think they discontinued that design.
Last year I bought Nillkin Frosted Shield for S23 (had used it for a Pixel previously) and it is great! Minimal design but protection where you need. Think I'll be ordering that. This year they've made it MagSafe compatible (unofficially), so that's a bonus.

Yeah, may be because Samsung is now manufacturing most of their phones in India. My S23Plus was made in India.
It has nothing to do with where they are made! More so on the logistics of sending the phones out.
But there will be less logistics if it is getting delivered to the same country it is made vs internationally.
@CodeXD: The phones are already in the Australia warehouse they just have not been sent out probably to stay within the Samsung official release date!
People in Europe actually received their phones quite early on. It really depends on when the phones gets sent out from the local warehouses/stores.
@ThaiArse: In that case phones shouldn’t have been delivered anywhere in the world if the official release date of 29th Jan was to be complied with. Nevertheless, Samsung’s orders handling and support services have always been a hit and miss, so anything and everything is possible. And when coupled with inefficiencies of systems and processes in Australia, it just gets worse.
@OZBsince2018: This is the first time in a long time Samsung hasn't delivered yet, In the past few years, I have always received my hone 2-4 days prior to the first release date.

Reviews seem to praise the anti reflective glass a lot. Maybe I should have held off on buying an ESR screen protector cause applying it will likely negate the anti reflectiveness.

Haha, hopefully Samsung pushes screen protector manufacturers to step up their game, assuming they didn't patent the technology - or maybe the material science is difficult enough that they didn't patent it since China would just copy it.
Has Anyone experienced any issues with the Samsung Trade ID. The one i generated for my damaged S23 Ultra, it came with This Trade ID can only be used in Store. Unsure how to pre order online to get all the other bonuses.

I'm definitely not complaining. This was what I expected too. Better than taking away the discount coupon.. The slightly dodgy thing is the discount includes the amount you get back for your returned device too. So essentially you're loosing a bit of money from the value of your returned device.
It was difficult with the accessory stock fluctuating so much - I ordered tags that I don't need because there wasn't much else I wanted. Wanted to get a wireless charger, but they'd been removed by the time I placed my order (going to look into magsafe options now though).
Samsung support told me not to cancel online as I will cancel my whole order - better to return the items once I've recieved them.

Always start from fresh, leave all the old junk behind and redownload the apps you want.
It is fun to go through all the settings just to see what is new in the new phone.
My last 6 samsung phones have all been restored from smart switch. The backup DNA tree goes back to the S6.
