Merged from Macbook Air 13 inch M4 Midnight Base model (256gb SSD, 16GB RAM) $1549 (OW Price Match: $1471.55)

The actual site I linked (Emporium Electronics) only has 1 unit in stock so please DON'T BUY IT or there'll be nothing to price match Officeworks with!

Midnight colour is apparently a bit of a fingerprint magnet but for that price I'm personally willing to overlook it.

    Hope this helps someone!

Highly unlikely. Eggs are gold these days. No one selling them 80% off RRP unless they going off, half smashed, smell funny or just pricing error eg. Should be $12.25 and some idiot left off the 1

        • Nah, egg shortage is over.. but I’m at Woolworths now, and they’re all gone

          • @87percent: Who says?

            • @Gavman: when was there an egg shortage? We've got 5 dozen in the fridge.

    • 900g wow.

      • +3

"900g" eggs aren't super-jumbo eggs. They are cartons of 18 eggs that are the same size each as would be called 600g eggs if they were in a 12 pack carton, or 300g eggs in a 6 pack carton. That is, the smallest size eggs available. The number of grams on the carton is the quantity by weight in total of eggs in the pack, not the weight of each egg. Pity the poor chicken that had to lay a 900g egg. It'd have to be the size of an ostrich**.

**An emu egg is the weight of about 10 small chicken eggs. An ostrich egg is twice that big again.

    • I saw these on the shelf last week. 18 eggs (900g) for $8.70 normally. Reckon this is a good deal at retail vs the 700G for circa $6.30?

    • Wow and here I am paying $1 per egg 🍳 bargain!

    • Is this version1 or 2?

        1. Version 2 is black
      • It's not clear. Be mindful of the extreme (product code includes Z1x) and non-extreme versions (product code includes Z1) and the Ally X (black).

    [Used] VTOMAN Jump 600X 299Wh 600W LiFePO4 Portable Power Station $159.20 with coupon MAY20 - 3 available

Plenty of deals posted previously on it brand new with the lowest price being $239.99. Given the note below it's a lottery of what you'll get. Hopefully just a simple change of mind.

Note: This product has been used before. We cannot know the specific problem with it because it was randomly shipped by our warehouse personnel. It has certain issues. Welcome professional maintenance personnel to purchase.

    • Seller notes also say

Notice before purchase:It is not functioning properly and the buyer needs to repair it. We welcome professionals to purchase for repairs.

  • Hello. 1 left in stock so it's off to this section of OzB but the B is for 'Banging' deal!

Do you remember the cone of silence from Get Smart? Well, if you work in a noisy office and want to lessen the impact of noise around you this looks like a great deal.

At $250 its a steal. Last sold at $2500 in the outlet store of Stylecraft, this 2m wide and 81cm high Cone of Silence will help to minimise the constant barrage of noise associated with people sh*t talking all day long & making noise while you are trying to get in the zone. This hanging above your space will give you a place to sit under and have that noise
dampened. If it wasn't black I wouldn't share it at all as I would have purchased it.

Hi guys, it’s my first post here. Just seen something good and would be shame if not sharing the information. Taken a lot from ozbargain and now is my time to contribute.

Dewalt hammer drill DCD796 $100 @ Bunnings Vermont South VIC. I don’t see it on Bunnings website. At 11:30am today, there were 2 units on shelf.

It is a decent brushless drill with 70nm torque. Good enough for home use and DIY.

Seagate 28TB Expansion Desktop External Hard Drive (STKP28000400) US$389.99 (~A$602.67) Delivered @ QuickDealStore via Amazon US
    Merged from deal

I've been looking to add more to my storage and noticed that the 28TB deal posted by Gar previously which became OOS is now back again. It's more expensive by about USD$7 but thanks to our favourable exchange rate, is now actually cheaper once converted to AUD. I've ordered one and it arrived within around a week which was quicker than I expected.

Useful for anyone who requires larger capacity drives:

(reproduced from previous post - attributed to Gar)
Pay in USD using ING conversion or similar otherwise Amazon Currency Converter Enabled - Pay in AUD

To avoid import fees, only order one at a time
For example, if you bought two, it would cost and extra Import Fees Deposit of AUD 82.90

    About this item
Easy-to-use desktop hard drive—simply plug in the power adapter and USB cable
Fast file transfers with USB 3.2
Drag-and-drop file saving right out of the box
Automatic recognition of Windows and Mac computers for simple setup (Reformatting required for use with Time Machine)
Enjoy peace of mind with the included limited warranty and Rescue Data Recovery Services

    https://www.techradar.com/pro/28tb-seagate-expansion-desktop…
STKP28000400 is a 28TB desktop hard drive from Seagate's popular Expansion family
It includes Seagate's Data rescue service should the drive fail to work
Despite its massive capacity, it still features the now-obsolete USB-A port

the 24tb is even better vallue at $279 USD

      • +1

Yeah the 24TB is even cheaper on a per TB basis. If only I didn't already have a gazillion HDDs, I would probably settle on smaller drives too. Very tempted on the 24TB myself!

              But more transformation then confusion.

          🤔

    • Reading from seller's review
      https://www.amazon.com/sp?ie=UTF8&seller=A23POT47ZXRB66&asin…
there were multiple reports where the seller ships an empty packaging box with no HDD inside, also shipping 10TB instead of 20TB.
When the price is too good to be true, I would avoid.

      • I ordered one and it arrived with no dramas and is working normally for me. In fact, I've filled about 24TB worth so far already.

      • Also look at the previous deal. Quite a few of us have bought and no one has experienced the issues noted. There's even a hard disk report at the bottom of Gars thread from someone who ran benchmarking on it.

    • Has anyone shucked one of these?

The 24tb looks a great deal to drop into a Reolink NVR. I know they're not NAS/NVR drives, but at the price per tb, I'm willing to risk it…

      • Maybe check if your reolink supports a drive that size. I had ordered a 16TB for my NVR only to find out that the max supported was 8TB
