  • “Eligible Listings” means item listings that are:

    • as auction or fixed price listings; and

  • The discount will automatically apply to all Eligible Sellers and Eligible Items during the Promotion Period, in most cases. If the discount does not automatically apply once an Eligible Item has been sold, please allow 24 hours for your eBay.com.au account to be credited. if you do several labels in 1 transaction. itll be half price and only count as 1. happened to me anyway

  • So what value sale will retain the 0% FVF? Up to about $180?

    • -1

Doesn't appear to be any limits from past experiences, sold a $6k+ camera and was charged the 30c or whatever it is.

      • Not for this promo. This has a limit of $25 off your fees.

        • Oops, my mistake, got it mixed up with the 1x $0 fvf.

    • +1

For this promo, yes 👍 Someone calculated to be about $185 on the previous page.

  • HELP PLEASE!!

What does the below mean, as I spoke to the stupid heads at eBay and they said that the maximum discount is $25. So if I sold something for $1599, I will be paying 13.4% minus $25. So $189.26!! I that correct??

yes. unfortunately this time ebay support did answer correctly.

if ever enrolled pizzahut deal, it's same like "100% cashbask & $10 cap" :)

      • Thank you!!

  • just checking sell similar works right? so dont have do all over.

    • Correct. Sell similar from the listings page

  • newbie question, if i activate this promo, and end an existing listing then relist the item, would the relisting catch the promo?

    thx!

    • +2

      no, use "Sell Similar"
      not Relist

  • What is the best way to delist the item and relist it?

    • +1

      just select End Item
then select the Unsold item and use Sell Similar

  • I have two offers;

list up to 250,000 items for free every month

And this one up to $25 off 3 items

When I list new items, they show as used for the first offer but not the second, and I still have 3 remaining for the $25 offer???

Any ideas?? I don’t care about free listings

    • The counter only goes up when you actually sell the item.

  • I listed an item using "sell similar" and ended the original listing after. Is there a way I can tell if the new listing has the promotion applied? Or is it a roulette spin by the time I sell the listing?

    • +1

You won’t know but I’m sure it’ll work if what you said is what you actually did

      • Sweet, thanks

    • +2

Roulette. The only way to really be sure is to do a whole new listing and copy + paste your title, description, etc. but who has time for that? I’ve never had an issue with ‘Sell Similar’, be it from my own ended or sold listing or someone else’s current or sold listing.

Get on eBay chat or call them and ask a rep if your listing is valid for the promo

Edit; suggest screenshot chat or get the chat transcript emailed top you, sh!t happens lolz 😆

  • Also got an email about this that says "up to 3 sales". However on the activate link and on my ebay profile it only mentions 1x sale? Anyone else getting that?

Ahhh, actually just realize that's the Plus members offer of 1x sale with 0% fee. Didn't realise there was 2 offers this month. All good.

  • If I list say ten items, will the first three successful sales within the promo period apply for zero FVF? Or is it first three consecutive number of listings only?

    • +1

First three successful sales that were listed during the activated promo period 👍

  • I no longer have the half price postage labels :(

    • me either - quite a few people have found that they have disappeared

      • I still have them now and I was still printing 50% off labels at 11pm yesterday.

        • I have them one one account but not my 'main' one. Really don't know hat the variable is.
Is asked eBay CS but that was pretty much a waste of time

  • Do ppl still sell their old iphone on ebay? are there many scammers? Is facebook market place better for these things now?

  • For reference the maximum sell price to pay a $0 Variable Fee is $186.55.
    Calculated as 186.55 x 0.134 = 24.9977

Anything above that sell price you will pay a 13.4% Fee. Was looking to sell a high value item but it still brings in a $100+ Fee. No thanks eBay!

  • Dumb question. Will this work on a new listing on 3x of the same item or do I need to list each separately?

    • Will work on 3x the same item, each sale counts as one

  • Just confirming I can still list a 10 day auction today, and it'll still give me up to $25 off selling fees?

    • On 3 items from any of the 10, after you accept the offer and follow the exclusion policy, like categories and not relisting

  • Yadda yadda, lets see if same deal happens for April 2024
    Bump 🤒👍
