Terms for the $10 Amazon Promo Credit:

The first 2,500 customers of Amazon.com.au who enter the promotional code “GCFEST24” in the “Gift Cards & Promotional Codes” box at checkout after purchasing $200 or more of Amazon.com.au Gift Cards in a single order will receive a $10 promotional credit that can be used on a future eligible order (“Offer”).       I purchased $195 Restaurant Choice (7% off) for $181.35 to activate the AmEx cashback $10 x 3.

      If you have $10 promo credit from the last deal, you can use that towards the gift card purchase as well, for example purchase $205 gift card to bring it down to $180.65 for the AmEx spend.

        When I try to put the promo code to Restaurant Choice card of $216 ($200.8 after 7% off)
        got the error "The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase."

              @littlesoldier: Yeah better off with the Woolworths offer if you don't have the AmEx offer, although at least with Amazon you can buy higher denominations, whereas Woolworths excludes variable this time so I think max is $100. Harder to split but probably not worth giving up 3% over it.

                  @New Chump: Yeah that's right, you can do 1 lot of $180+. I did it last week on a different card, for the $250 Amazon promo and got $30 back.

    I added $100 Amazon and $100 Netflix and the code wouldn't work. I changed it to $200 Amazon and it worked. I tried buying a Netflix card with the gift card but it wouldn't allow it, just allowed me to use the $10 bonus so I did that. I've received an email saying because I sent someone a gift card ie the Netflix card they've given me a $12 bonus credit.

      Today I bought the $200 Amazon GC, got the code within 5mins and the email about $10 promo credit, I then bought the $100 Netflix card, which I used the $10 promo code from the $200 Amazon GC, which ended up costing me $90 for the $100 Netflix card, later I got the $12 promo credit for the Netflix GC..nice.

        Initially I thought this is double dipping, but after thinking it through I think it isn't, right?

        You paid $200 for Amazon GC and got $10 back in credit. That's 5% savings. The $10 credit is your money now (same concept as if you got $10 back in cash).

        You then purchase $100 Netflix GC. You paid this using $90 cash (credit card/Amazon GC balance or whatever payment method) and used $10 credit you have in your account (this credit is your money generated from previous transaction). You then get $12 credit. That's 12% savings, not 13.3% savings (ie. not $12 / $90).

        The only advantage I see of doing this combo transaction, is that you get to use your $10 credit immediately. Suits those who are not frequent Amazon customers.

      Can confirm the $10 comes through- had this issue as well , said “cannot be applied” but FAQ said it may give this error but the code will still have applied. Screen recorded the whole thing just in case as Amazon Cx is quite good. Promo credit came through in addition to $200 GC and already used!

      Contacted Amazon support. They said it was in 'manual approval' status. Saying my bank needs to approve it. Will take 1-3 business days. No idea why a $25 door dash card needs approval but a $200 Amazon one goes thru just fine

    Might help others, below is what I did
    Bought $200 Amazon gift cards and got my $10 promo. Then added $100 Netflix gift card and it used the $10 bonus from the $200 amazon giftcard so only had to pay $90 for the Netflix giftcard
    I also received a $12 bonus credit from the $100 Netflix giftcard.

    I think what's happened is, after buying the $200 Amazon gift card, they immediately place a manual check on the second giftcard purchase as a form of security against scams. It needs manual approval by someone at Amazon.

    I also noticed they hadn't yet charged my card for the Restaurant giftcard, probably the same reason.

      I used the $10 credit (from $200 amazon GC) towards netflix $100 GC and got the $12 bonus. if that's what you are looking for.
      you can only get the bonus credit once per account from each offer.
