Zotac GAMING GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Trinity OC 12GB Video Card $1049 + Delivery ($0 SYD C&C) @ Mwave

480

Hi friends, in the market for something to run minecraft at eleventy-K resolution and this should do the trick.

Seems to be the cheapest price the professionals at Ozbargain have found so far for a 4070 ti, and is currently cheaper than most of the 4070 supers.

Turn on raytracing and you might get 30fp/s at eleventyK :)

    • +3

      30 frames per per second?

  • +4

Really good model too, but I'm still hoping they'll go sub-$1k.

CentreCom recently did the ASUS TUF variant for $1049 as well.

Surprised there are still Ti models in the retail channel, thought they'd have all been cleared out by now.

    • +7

I'd say it's because this gen is really average value, so they're not flying off the shelf.

Nvidia draw 82% of their revenue currently from the data centre. They don't care at all about consumer pricing.

    • bought galax 4070Ti from them. works like a charm

  • This or 4070 Ti Super

    • +7

I play 1440p with everything set to ultra (RT included) on Hogwarts Legacy on a 4070 Super. So if you're playing at 1440, get whatever is cheaper between your preferred 4070S model and a standard TI. The issue I saw with the TIsuper was that it didn't review very well at 4k, so is there really much point in it unless you want really high FPS at 1440p?

    • They're both great so whatever you can afford. If you want it now I'd just jump on this deal.

    • +7

Super with 16gb vram all the way.

    • +3

The Super is a nice upgrade, especially with the extra 4GB VRAM, but PCPartPicker has an equivalent model at $1329. That's quite the price jump for a ~10% performance improvement

    • Yes

4 years on from COVID and a thousand dollars is still buying only a __70 ti instead of a flagship vanity diminishing-returns __90 or Titan card.

Intel's next GPU can't come soon enough.

    • +6

Yep will be nice to have their 4060ti competitor

    • +3

Agreed, I bought near the downturn of COVID a 3070ti before the 40 series @ $1300 and thought I got screwed.
Can't imagine still paying around 1k for a GPU now supply is back to normal.

      • +2

maybe they wouldn't have to whine under every gpu deal posted on here?

That could just be coil whine

      • -1

Says the whiny lil Nvidia shill

        • -1

Muh muh muh shill. I couldn't care less about grown arse men bitching about a luxury product they use to game, either put up or shut up, with an emphasis on shutting up preferably. Goddamn manbabies.

Nvidia are offering a product at a certain pricepoint which many people are happy to pay, if you're too broke to pay it that's a you problem.

      • +2

Yes, let's all push the price up for Nvidia. Perhaps while we're at it, we can buy oil futures to combat our petrol costs

        • They don't care about broke arse gamers, doesn't matter how many muppets yell about HODL-ing on here, none of these whiney manchildren are going to change a thing.

    • Yeah but also fuel is stuck at 2$ a litre now. Fml.

  • ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER OC TWIN 12GB GDDR6X is $989 now. Is it worth pay 60 more for a 4070ti in this case? Since the benchmark of a Ti is only 5% faster than a super?

    • +1

You tell me… 6% more for 5% speed with a power advantage going to the super.

      • Plus the ti is way bigger and uses alot more power

  • +1

back in the day you could get a flagship gpu at this price

    gtx 690
    gtx 590
    gtx 1080 ti

    • +2

And 20 years ago you could get a flagship GPU for $600. But you would still be running 690p medium/high settings

      • Nah 20 years ago I was on either a GeForce 3 or a 7700 gt think they were $350 and $450 respectively from msy… Was running all on the medal of honour/unreal/quake games in 1080p on a 21inch crt.. all but quake were on high quality too.

        • +2

          Ok so,
          -Nvidia 6800gt launch april'04 @$499usd ($815 '04)
          Is $1228 '2024AUD

          Doom 3 released October '04
Widely acclaimed as a Herald of a new generation of graphical fidelity at the time.

Df retro on YouTube has a video of it running on 6800gt. And getting between 20-30fps consistently at 1024x768 on high settings.

          Top game , top GPU 2004. 30fps at 768i high settings. $1230 in 2024aud .

You can play any AAA rated game today 1440p on high/ ultra settings at 60-90fps easily on a 4070ti at 1100$

The thought that GPUs have been getting worse in value is actually wrong. It's the buying power of the AUD in your Zip account that has been getting weaker and weaker.

  • Shits expensive because people pay it. Stop complaining.

    • As you say, the price is high as a result of people thoughtlessly continuing to pay these inflated prices.

That means regularly reminding each other that crazy high prices aren't good or normal is in everyone's interest, because it may lead to fewer purchases at these prices - which in turn leads to lower prices.

This benefits all buyers (even the ones careless/rich/silly enough to pay crazy high prices).

      • You think a few whingey comments on ozbargain will have a noticeable effect on global GPU prices?

        • Computer parts aren't groceries, a good portion of buyers research online before buying.

They should have the right information.

People have been HODLing for years… Hasn't changed a thing except them missing out on enjoying a new card

  • +1

Wake me up when they are $500

    • Ok talk again in 2026

  • +1

I know this has a fraction more power but i think I still lwant a 4070super for sff

    • +2

I want that for you too 🫶
