PNY GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16GB VERTO OC Graphics Card $1199 + Delivery ($0 to BNE/ SYD/ MEL/ ADL/ ACT) @ JW Computers

690

I think it's an ATL for the 4070 Ti Super, shipping appears free to certain postcodes. Can use vouchers to purchase the same product (listed at $1305) from their eBay store if you have targeted coupons with larger discounts - for example I have a Zip Pay voucher for 11% off eligible purchases up to a maximum of $120 discount, which would bring the final price to $1185.

Only 1 left in stock on eBay, I bought one already. EBay plus discount is $100 if you don't want to use zip

    • Looks like they added more stocks to eBay. Bought through there as I had a $100 off coupon and ebay plus express shipping.

    $1200 for a 'mid-range' GPU… What a bargain. Times we live in 😐

    • +3

Wait until the decoupling with China becomes reality.

    • +24

it's the 5th fastest GPU on the market, faster than a 3090, I wouldn't call it particularly mid

    • +11

      Its slightly better than mid.

    • +5

yeah a GPU that basically gets you everything is midrange now because you said so

      • +1

Sure it's an opinion and the reviews weren't all positive with the uplift it provides, I guess I have had an issue with both NVIDIA and AMD this gen because they didn't just inflate the prices but also messed around with card namings, the uplift you'd expect wasn't there and gen on gen performance these would have been mid tier cards they just got named something higher.

Just disappointed in both those companies..that's all, if people are happy with the performance and price then awesome enjoy it and it'll last you many many years 🙂

wasn't long ago a $250 card was your 1080p gaming solution, a $400 card the mid range warrior, a $1000 card the rtx 4080 of the day….gtx 9xx, 10xx series?…and yes it's a long time ago and times have changed circumstances etc etc, but that was the standard for like a decade. gamers are no longer priority. greeeeeeed.

      • +1

My offline gaming setup (Win XP) uses an AGP N7600GS. All 256MB of it manages 1080P games!

      • You can spend 250 today and get a 1080p warrior

        • Maybe if it's used, for new the best you can get now is a 6500xt or an a380 for $250.

    • +3

not the best price but for 4k gaming this is probably the best price to performance ratio. $1200 is a hard pill to swallow but compare that to a 4080 which is $1500 and not that much better. If eventually you can get these down to $1,000-1,100 I reckon that would be a pretty decent deal.

    HODL

      • And? they including myself will not hand over my hard earn cash to Nvidia. Can wait for another year if I have to.

        • Just like housing, in a year or two the price wont magically fall by 50%

          • +3

@DiscoJango: When someone compared technology with housing, then you know how intelligent they are.

            • @kml22: Its the concept of an item not magically falling in price a year later, which your minimal intellect completely failed to grasp.

              • +2

@DiscoJango: same GPU, after 1-3yrs, prices drop fast.
same House, after 1-3yrs, prices will drop slightly or go up, see the differences? it's way above your level of understanding.

        • Just keep hodling

    • My guess is that you can reduce the power given to the card by 65%.

MSI Afterburner is one of many apps which let you do this.

      • Yeah that's what it means.
Also that you can't increase the power limit on this board at all, so the only way to overlcock will be through undervolting

        • +2

Undervolting is god tier OCing with GPU boost (imo)

          • @BAE: Only way I rock… CPU needs LLC tweaking with effective UV, but no option on GPU for that.

  • +18

Babe wake up, new GPU deal just dropped. That I'm just going to stare at and not take advantage of.

    • Which deal?

      • +2

This one lol. Sorry I was trying to meme.

  • +5

@reader64 what's that about nvidia not cutting 4070ti super prices from ~$1350? Barely 3 weeks.

    • Nasty… But hopefully could hit 1k soon…

  • i bought coles master gift card the other day, how can i use 5 $250 cards to buy this?

  • trigger pulled! thanks a bunch, mate!

  • Thanks OP. I think this is a decent price.
I've never used Zip before, what's the catch with paying with Zip?

    • +3

Zip has always been an odd one for me - I've never liked using it. You have to pay so much or have you account down to a certain amount otherwise you will be charged a fee. If its for a discount, I always use Zip and then pay it off straight away.

      • +1

This is the way. Abuse their discounts but pay it off immediately

  • not bad deal

  • I literally just pull on the 7900xtx like 3 days ago. Should have hold

    • +2

Isn’t that better than this though?

      • +1

ye but it is way more expensive as well

  • Great deal.
Bought RX 7800 XT during centrecom 15% off storewide. Looked at the 4070 Ti Super but by the time I decided it was sold out. Well RX 7800 XT still more than enough for me, rarely game recently.

    • How much did you end up getting the 7800xt for?

      • +1

I could get the sapphire nitro plus for $730 ish but ended up getting ASRock steel white OC for $760

  • +1

Really good especially if you just need to upgrade GPU, I'll hold out for more prebuilts on here down the line though unless I pickup a really cheap CPU x Mobo combo

    • What’s a good cpu mobo combo for this? 7800x3d for cpu?

      • +1

Yeah 7800x3d would be a good pair, I guess whatever you can get for a good price that doesn't bottleneck the GPU is a good answer. 7500f would be a good budget option.

  • Great deal! Grabbed one reluctantly. Only reluctant because I needed a white card for a new white build… But I just can't pay $179 more for a white shell.

  • i have seen this on ebay a few times brand new for 1049 don't know if its still on sale though.

    • +2

Sure it wasn't just the Ti or the SUPER model?

To date, $1168 cheapest known for a Ti SUPER to go for (was on eBay with a code and then got price jacked shortly after to be above $1300)

      • Which seller was that?

      • pretty sure it said TI I will have a look and see if I can find the seller.

        • Yeah, a Ti has hit as low as $980ish. Ti SUPER are top 4070 model though, which this one is. So not the same.

          4070 12GB
4070 SUPER 12GB +11% Avg on one before
4070 Ti 12GB +9% Avg on one before
4070 Ti SUPER 16GB +10% on one before

@mxlmxlmxl: fire there marketing!! because there names are BS.

            • @kungfuman: IKR! Used to be tiered by number, bigger number more power. Now this BS, and this is just one line. What's hilarious is the 4080 Ti model is not faster, it averages out mostly equal to the 4080 model. So you can't rely on Ti meaning better either.

Personally, looking forward to the "Ti SUPER MAX PRO EXTREME" model myself 😂

  • I'm just going to wait until next year or the year after that. My trusty old rtx 2060 is still going strong enough on most games and I am playing at a mix of ultra/high settings to get playable 1440p games at 45-50fps. That's still enough to make helldivers 2 immensely playable.
