Really low price on this 2TB SATA SSD if you're in the market for some fast storage on a budget. Easily one of the best Chinese brand names that I've seen in a long time and it gives me Ainol flashbacks.

Obviously given the price and brand this isn't going to comparable to something like Samsung, however it's perfectly fine for game storage where you'll get faster load times and you can easily fit your growing Epic library thanks to old mate. Given I've used up all my M.2 slots it's perfect for game storage.

You can expect to get sequential read speeds up to 550MB/s and sequential write speeds up to 500MB/s. According to Fikwot this should be using TLC flash (4TB is QLC) and it's DRAMless. Chances are it's using YMTC flash with a Maxio MAS1102 controller.

I'm holding out for a 20tb at this price because I don't just take Ainol from any old Fikwot.

    • Haha I remember back in the day I was going to bulk buy some of their tablets and try to sell them to make a bit of $$. Would would been a pain in the Ainol if I did.

    • My favourite brand

  • Surely these names are on purpose

  • Fikwot? Seems fine.

Get 8 of these and glue them into 4x4TB pairs.

      • I only have double right now!

      • Are you fikwot serious?

  • +1

That is really cheap for a SSD, but never heard of the brand, not sure if I want to risk storing data on it.

Obviously given the price and brand this isn't going to comparable to something like Samsung…

Instead of this trash, get the 870 EVO 2TB for $163 by buying 3 or adding 2x of the EVO Select 128GB MicroSD cards

Chances are it's using YMTC flash with a Maxio MAS1102 controller.

@Clear is this drive using YMTC 128L TLC NAND?

The well known garbage tier NAND that you would not expect an experienced deal poster to recommend?

    • Who said it is using YMTC 128L flash?

Right, An AliExpress review according to Dr Google. I'd happily recommend a Samsung Evo 2TB for $163 if it didn't require you to purchase 3.

Seems like a fine game drive at $139.99 vs $191.64 for a single 870 EVO.

    • Be OK to use as a data drive and just regular back up onto a cheaper but bigger hdd

  • How does it compare to Crucial BX500 2TB 2.5" SSD, CT2000BX500SSD1 ?

    • +2

Long term reliability should be better with a Crucial BX500 given it's using Micron flash.

      • thanks!

      • You would think so.

        I got a p5 crucial 2tb…6 months, that's all it lasted for..6 months.

        • What are you using now?

          • @JinWu: Samsung EVO 980.

Bear in mind I'm talking about Nvme.. sometimes, brand doesn't mean any thing

  • This or Patriot?

For an older game PC so looking for the cheapest price for decent enough quality.

    • Joking, right?

Patriot has been around for a long time.

      • Maybe this is a bit of a deal then?

        Patriot P210 SATA 3 2TB Internal Solid State Drive 2.5" SSD- P210S2TB25

$141 from the Patriot store Amazon. Sorry I’m having a bit of trouble trying to get the link.
