  Are people just using this for streaming mostly?

  I only ask because the parent company of PIA has a history of malvertising; everyone fled them 3 years ago for a reason.

  And I saw Nord mentioned , who still have nodes on their network under unknown control (too costly to change private key im guessing?).

  Hiding from 'the locals' makes sense, but just be aware you dont know to whom youre sending your data to while using them
