      • +4

        Tax write off…

Sure, as long as you are willing to pay more than you save. Tax write-off is not what you think it is.

    • +2

Imagine that one person sitting there between all the ozbargainers.

      Poor basterd

  • -1

Now send me all the answers

    • Please ?

      • Pretty Please 🥺

  • +12

Which up and coming regional area do they get you to invest in at the end of the "course"?

    • -6

this course is about commercial investment. I guess your ques is more related to residencial property investment.

    • Rooty Hill

    • +2

      Morwell

      • +1

Morwell is surprisingly a good area to investment in

        • Shut up and take my not enough money to get into the housing market no matter what I do!

  • +21

Signed up so they can claim a tax deduction on the $4997 discount they gave me.

With all of their real estate profits they probably need it

  • +11

I mean there's no secrets with this stuff… and they all give out free books and podcasts

  • +43

Wake up 4am, meditate, ice bath, smoothie, 10km jog and then become a billionaire buying property but first you need to do this course.

    • +2

      Whoa, we're half way there

      • +1

        Whoooooooooooaaaaaaaaaa-ooooooohhhhhh

    • +1

Amateur. You forgot to sun your privates.

  • Is this an ATL?

    • +3

      Username does NOT check out

  • The link goes to a website that my missus would make for $100. I'm overawed on the credibility and polish of this outfit!

    • She must be very talented

      • -3

She's not. Well, at least not talented at websites. It was sort of like dollar general. Hang on, this is an orsie forum. Sort of like "the reject shop" websites.

        • +6

          What are her other talents?

          • +1

@ballsau: naughty naughty….. and with a name like that!

            • @rooster7777: Dunno, I would be more supportive of the ol' ball n chain tbh

              • -4

@ballsau: I've already got a microwave and automatic dishwasher, so I'd rather she venture out of the house…… reduces the hours I need to work.

    • +1

come on mate they spent all their money on commercial property. only $100 left to do the website

      • Ya reckon? You could be right, but my guess would be up their nose, or on the maserati lease.

    • +1

      https://www.fiverr.com more like it.

The domain name probably cost more than the Indian they hired for an hour.

  • +30

Damn, and I just paid $4997 for this.

    • +3

you still got a good deal, previously it was $6500

      • +1

And the knowledge gained will totally give me the upper hand next time in Monopoly

I’m always skeptical about anyone provide money earning advice….if they are so good, they should be just making money using their tricks, not wasting their time teach others to compete with them….

    • I was thinking the same last night about cyber security courses, but then I did the figures. Training is easy money.

    • +1

I’m always skeptical about anyone provide money earning advice…

      Skepticism is a healthy trait…

if they are so good, they should be just making money using their tricks, not wasting their time teach others to compete with them….

By that logic, Jamie Oliver shouldn't show you how to cook food then?
Training and referral business are huge business too. No reason you can't do both.

    • +1

They need fools in the market to get money from? Or buy their bad investments?

  • +3

I had to choose between the Commercial Property institute and the Ponds Institute…

    • Only trust someone wearing a white lab coat… Double points if they also have a stethoscope around their neck. Nothing says I'm trustworthy like a lab coat and a stethoscope.

  • +3

Just sold my first commercial property.

  • +11

At least the only scam is time lost.

  • +5

Thanks just invested in Bankstown and Mt Druitt.

    • +1

I've set a reminder to review this comment in 30 years.

    • Thanks just invested in Bankstown and Mt Druitt.

Actually Bankstown might see some growth once the Metro opens. Being on a reliable transport corridor is must have, and the Metro is the only reliable transport option in NSW

      • The new Western uni campus, new Bankstown hospital development on Tafe site, and the proposed apartments surrounding Bankstown Centro will definitely see some significant growth in the next 5 years.

Traffic is already becoming a problem between 330pm and 6pm so expect it to be worse when they finish the massive apartment complex on old RSL site.

I just listened to part 1 of module 8. It was 15mins long. It was a quick overview with not much insight and a strong recommendation to get your own advice.

  • +1

Can’t recommend enough! Won the agent of the year even without any prior experience all thanks to commercial property institute 😂

    • Why would an agent of the year, (with corresponding financial rewards) give a rats about getting $10 off delivered fast food?

  • Wow!! This looks like a bargain!!
    https://youtu.be/7wMMjchwlbw?t=92

  • +1

Just remember guys, the cost was $6500 originally.

    • Nodsnods… got any stats on how many punters pay that price?

  • +8

    So impressed I bought 2

  • -2

Maybe we should create a study group so that can get this done together? Otherwise becomes one of those 100s of Udemy courses that never get touched :).
Dm me if anyone interested and we can get this thing done in next 2-3 months

  • Just completed module 1 and got 100% on the quiz. I've just bought my first commercial property. Now to get ozbargain to lease it out and park their servers in it 😁

  • +6

OZB really needs a laugh reac.

  • +4

Steve is well known in the commercial property space. Yes, he owns a business sourcing commercial property for buyers who don't have the skills to find them but that doesn't automatically equate to dodgy. I've read his commercial RE book which was quite enlightening.

He does give a sh*tload of info out for free as a lead into his services but its not pushed hard.

There are many dodgy buyers advocates who are in bed with "dime-a-dozen" developers but from my observations, this is not how he operates.

I have not used his services but have learned A LOT from him.

Just take this course for what it is- A lot of good information given to you in exchange for being presented to opportunity to engage his services.

    • +1

Yeah I can’t comment on how good he is as a buyers agent, but I got his book for free and found it fairly useful. There’s no way in the world this course is worth $5k, but I’ll take a look if it’s free.

    • +1

I'm not sure why you're being downvoted. I've used Steve as a BA pre-COVID, and I got a solid IP from him.

Cannot comment on the course, but his book was also a great read and easy for beginners looking to enter the market.

      edit: grammar

  • -2

    wheres the code?

    • +1

Directly above "Use the code to get 100% discount of AUD $4997 course."

      AUSPROP

Hopefully you just forgot to put your glasses on and aren't trolling.

  • +1

Do I get a .edu student email address for this course? 😄

    • +2

      for student discounts? haha

  • +1

Why Commercial? Residential property is doing a lot better.

    • +3

Cash flow. The purpose of commercial investment is not capital gains.

  • time is money. spending 10+ hours listening to Steve Palise seems like a pretty bad deal, regardless of whether you paid for it
