Most likely, motorola or ingram micro are not paying over and above rebates, whereas jb don't rely on rebates.
Replacement-model is most likely to be released-soon, only buy this-model @ a sale price, say $150 ish.
It was released in September not exactly old and the next model is likely not much different.

Nothing, it's plain Vanilla Android.
It's purely personal choice. I used Samsung before trying out a Motorola phone and I felt more comfortable with Samsung's interface. But again it's purely personal choice.
Honestly it's one of the better UIs, clean and simple. I put it right behind Google's OS for their Pixel devices.
Any similar deals somewhere else? I do try to avoid HN when I can…
