Samsung B300 Outright Flip Mobile Phone - $48.88 @ DSE

130

This deal is in the latest DSE Christmas catalogue.

Samsung B300 Outright Flip Mobile Phone
FM radio. Polyphonic and MP3 ringtones. Speakerphone. Hot price. Unlocked can be used on any GSM network.
$48.88

Great deal for an outright phone, especially to keep as a spare. Decent feature set, but no camera by the looks of it (oh no!). Not a bad idea to give to a young child so you can keep in contact with them (prepay with a long-expiry provider). For this price even if they destroy it within a year it's not a big problem.

To find this deal search for "E8720" on the DSE website or view this here - http://catalogues.dse.com.au/imageicon/DSE/PROD/J00003676/C_…

WOW, cheap cheap. I buy it for my boy then. Thanks

  • Quick question: what's the difference between the B300 and the B310? Virgin has the B310 for $0.12 more, with free shipping, though it looks like the colour range may be different :)

The virgin one is locked whereas the DSE one isn't

That's good (about the DSE isn't locked) :)

Good phone for school aged kids, some schools dont allow camera phones at school now. So this is perfect. I am going to grab one for my son.

Yes it's a cheap phone. But it's a flip phone! Active kids + flip phone = you'll probably need another one in a few months…

I went to a Vodafone shop a few days ago and if you recharge by more than $49, you'll get a free phone. It's probably locked to Vodafone, but if you don't care about that it's effectively a free phone.

And no I don't remember what model/brand it was.

  • We plan to pick up one of these this a'noon.
Next, we need to find the CHEAPEST Optus (network) prepaid deal going!!!
    Any suggestions?

Got the 2nd last phone from DSE Sunnybank QLD on Sat a'noon.
Had checked a cupla hours earlier and they had 4 on the shelf, so sold 2 in that short time.
Had a choice of grey or grey, so we went for the grey one.
Her Highness seems to be complaining that it doesn't have a camera (or other "stuff")!!!
      Bloody kids,,, who'd have'm?
