Lots of places have this for 189. I'm waiting for this to drop slightly more before adding a 2nd to my setup.

thanks for confirming my theory :)

Been using one of these as my Work Monitor in Portrait mode ( on a vesa mount)

iv been able to split screen and have thunderbird loaded down the bottom half and have chrome up the top, the resolution was a nice jumper from the previous acer 24" 1080P 144hz display, even tho the refresh has dropped 100hz is still good.

Even for a budget gaming monitor i think its well worth it, viewing angles are nice.

Speakers are a bit disappointing (then again never found decent built in speakers) so i just use a pair of usb powered speakers for audio

    • Yeah, I totally get that. So far, the only built-in speakers I've found really impressive are the ones on the iMac and the Mac Studio Display — they’re surprisingly good.

    • Is there tilt and height adjustment?

      • im using a vesa stand bolted to my deck

but the stand that comes with it, is fixed height and only a limited amount of tilt (no rotation left and right)

        • Thanks

    • I got my monitor and yes the sound is horrible like the cheap old Aldi TVs. I installed equaliser APO and slightly increased the lows and reduced the mids and now it sounds pretty good.

  • Slightly tempting but doesnt have freesync if you wanted to do some gaming on it. I bought a cheapie 23" for lan gaming and realised afterwards it doesnt have freesync and you can now notice the tearing which is a little jarring.

    • This has adaptive sync. From what I have read freesync is adaptive sync that requires AMD certification.

    • vsync (if not playing reflex games) or Adaptive Sync (for variable framerates) will fix your issues :)

  • quick question:

could i get advice around using this Monitor for gaming eg, steamdeck, msi claw 8 AI+

is this an acceptable gaming standard moni?

100Hz would be the limiting factor, though better than 60Hz, if playing single player or casual games then should be fine, but if high speed FPS then it might be limiting

      • appreciate the help
