"All inclusions reset every 30 days until 360-day expiry." Incorrect and misleading. 120GB does not reset every 30 days, you get 10Gb/mth. Uses 4G only too, no 5G.

    • +3

Also I found that the data is used up pretty quickly compared to other provider. My partner uses 10GB on average per month on Boost and Amaysim and never had an issue, but for some reason she went through 10GB on Lebara within less than half a month, with no significant change in usage pattern.

      • +2

That would be your phone more than the network , how would you prove that (network wise)?

        • +3

It can depend on the network if they round up your usage to a minimum size, e.g 1MB for every session which means if you just refresh a webpage a few times in 5 minutes it can quickly be 10MB or so data.

    • So each month that 10GB will be presented to 0? Not roll over ?

      • -1

you can bank up to 200GB unused data each time you recharge before it expires on eligible plans.

    • I will update description, it was just copied from previous post.

    All good but bad signal

    • +2

Ive been sim slutting a work phone i use and voda-net has gotten a lot better as a non premium option.

    • +4

US government proved there's no such thing as bad Signal

    • +1

I had Lebara for a month, in December 2024, and the signal quality was quite poor for me.

I didn't have a good experience with the network.

  • +8

what network is it? Edit :4G Vodafone network.

      No thanks

  • Can I use a Lebara 360-Day Prepaid Starter Pack to recharge my existing Lebara prepaid service?

    • -2

Don't think it'll work with recharge as it is a "starter pack". But buy a other-branded $2 sim card to port out and port back in may work.

      • $2 sims usually need a recharge to facilitate the port out. So it is not responsible to suggest this is possible just for $2.

        • @roughana Actually it's MORE irresponsible to incorrectly comment on something when you don't have all your facts. Whilst most telco $2 starter pack admittedly requires a recharge, I can state for a fact I have used Telstra $2 starter pack at least 3x (with the most recent a few months ago) to facilitate a port in-port out without needed to do an additional top-up recharge

          • @rajsez: That's great to hear. So the correct advice is use a Telstra $2 sim card to port out with.

            • @roughana: Assuming Telstra hasn't made any changes to the above in recent time, yes Telstra $2 Starter Pack is indeed the way to go.

          • @rajsez: @rajsez how long do you need to wait to port back to Lebara? I need to do this soon

  • +2

Lebara has really bad signal all over Sydney

    • Is it a Lebara issue or a Vodafone issue? I'm currently on Vodafone but thinking of switching to Lebara for the 360 day plan.

      • +4

Lebara is owned by voda and uses exactly the same network. So if you’re happy with voda reception it’ll be the same on lebara

  • When do I have to activate it by? My plan expires mid-June. Thanks.

    • +3

If the plan has bonus data, has to be activated by 31/3/2025. Since this doesn't have bonus data, the expiry will be what is printed on the pack.

    • On the Lebara page for Long Expiry Prepaid Plans it says "the Lebara SIM must be activated within 365 days of purchase."

On the other hand, I bought one of these in an earlier deal on 02-Mar-2025, and inside the pack under the SIM card it says "Exp. Date: 15/02/2026". This is less than 365 days. I plan to activate this year so it shouldn't be an issue for me, but this may be something to watch out for.

I bought another one today and under the SIM card it says "Exp. Date: 16/08/2026", so not shorter than 365 days this time.

  • +1

Worst network, worst customer service no business, it’s stupid choice

  • Does anyone know if this supports call forwarding? Vodafone own prepaid does not

  • +2

If you have WW Rewards 10% off monthly discount, you can apply it to this, brings the effective cost down below $100 when you factor in the 2000 EDR points.

    • Is the Woolworths Extra 10% off discount really applicable? I thought it couldn’t be used for SIM card purchase…

      • +2

Yes, it worked for me when this deal was on a couple of weeks ago.

      • From experience - it can be used for SIM card purchase but not for gift card purchase.

  • -4

This is exactly like when someone says they have bought a new 4wd. You ask them what they bought and they respond…. A Ford Ranger! Oh.

This Lebara 365 deal looks amazing and then you see they use the Vodafone network now….. Oh.

How companies can get away with blatant catfishing like these two examples above astonishes me.

    • +1

What are you actually trying to say?
Your comment would be more useful if you pointed out what you believe are the deficiencies of the products you are bagging.
The Ford Ranger is a very capable 4WD, even in standard form, and can be turned into an off-road monster with a few mods.
This Lebara deal, on the Vodafone network, is one of the cheapest 12 months deals you can get, and is good enough for a lot of people.

  • Anyone used this on ipad with sim card?

  • Can I pay using Woolworths gift card?

    • Previously, I used a WW gift card to purchase my Amaysim sim card.

      • Hasn't been possible lately for Lebara.

        • I've had several attempts at purchasing a Lebara 30 sim with a gift card rejected, but I am now not sure whether that was at Coles or Woolies.
I was able to pay for this SIM with a gift card.

    • +2

      Yes, just bought one.

      • I also just bought one with a gift card and it worked.

      • Are you buying groceries as well, or just the sim card?

    • +3

Yes. Today I purchased one along with some groceries, paid for entirely with WISH egift cards. I also used my monthly Everyday Extra discount to get 10% off.

I have found in the past that some SIM packs cannot be paid for with gift cards in Woolworths, including Amaysim and possibly Belong, but that doesn't seem to apply to Lebara.

  • Is there a maximum of 1 redemption per EDR account for the 2000 bonus points?

    • +1

Limit of 3 transactions per Everyday Rewards member.

I got 2 last time and received 4000 points.

  • Is there something comparable out there with better coverage?

  • Esim convertible?

  • Can you buy this with gift card?

    • Yes

  • Confirming this one you can just pick up in store? The link isn't leading me anywhere.

  • Atrocious service. Not using it again even though I am due for renewal at catchconnect. Online rating says it all.

  • This deal isn't working in Perth/WA

    • +1

Just got one at Riverton. There were about 4 or 5 hanging there and advertised clearly for $119.

  • Couldn't find in-store. Link doesn't work. It's not showing on website. Its not on the catalogue. Is the deal even on? Officeworks is selling it for $119 though, but no bonus points obviously.

    • Link works for me (NSW)

    • I'm pretty sure these starter packs can only be purchased in store, so there's no online product page for it. But it does appear in the Woolworths weekly catalogue ending Tue 15 Apr (page 45 of the Qld catalogue).

That's why the link for this deal takes you to the Woolworths catalogue page.

Regarding finding them in store, sometimes they have SIM packs in multiple places, possibly including in a stand outside the front of the store (where I found mine). Ask the staff.

  • Picked up 4 today. Got points for all across two rewards accounts.
