If you select grey, you can apply the coupon to get an additonal 5%, making it $739.18. Cheapest in Australia, phone comes from Amazon Germany and fulfilled by Amazon Germany. Officeworks doesn't stock this model so can't pricebeat. Unsure if JB Hi-Fi will price match since it's from overseas, YMMV
[Amazon Prime] Nothing Phone 3a Pro (Grey Colour Only) $739.18 Delivered @ Amazon Germany via AU

That tensor chip though ,used the 8 pro , used to heat up and throttle
pixel phone sales at primer price with a shit chip. Only hardcore Google fans can take that crappy phone.
I've had 0 issues with my last 2 pixel phones (aside from battery tuning the apps early on) and probably will stick with pixel for my next phone.
Neg was not from me but try referencing own experience if you have had some and or other sources before making sweeping statements …
@scud70: It's getting very frustrating lol, pixel fanboys are the literal worst.
You mention all those (crappy) phones shortcomings online, you get downvoted and there's always a reply underneath saying 'but mine runs fine'@nikoris: well it's just how it is … my experience with them have been fine for many years and i like the UI and the camera which is important to me, i dealt with the battery early on and it's been fine since but i'm also not on it 24hrs a day for what i paid for it it's a great phone, so i do have to mention that it's not all bad, also i've had all the phones under the sun from iphones to chinese phones to sammy's.
Being downvoted is a part of OzB … i don't really worry about it, it doesn't change my mind and doesnt change your experience and you should mention it just as i mention the positive experience i've had.
What do you guys do with your phones? Never had any overheating issues on my pixel 7.
I've never noticed any heating issues with my Pixel 8 Pro and am now curious. What would you be doing on the device to experience that?
If you live outside a major city, I'd go the nothing for the better modem. Snapdragon modems are top tier, can't say the same for Tensor/Exynos unfortunately.
Just my personal take, but the pixel Phone has been the worse phone I've ever had. It is slower and constantly heats up.
tensor sucks hardcore
I was so shocked when I first got my Pixel. I thought to myself "Google are the creators of android so I suspect they would have one of the best experiences when it comes to an android phone" biggest mistake I've made. My previous Xiaomi and Samsung phones were miles better.
@stoogethomas: Have a Pixel 6 Pro and 7a. 6 Pro would always heat up, even on slow charge. I capped it to 80% charge. The software side is good, photos are fantasic and always get updates fast. Fingerprint scanner is ok, but nothing compared to other brands.
7a has the worst fingerprint scanner. I have added my thumbprint on 3 profiles and it still struggles to open 9 out of 10 times and am forced to use a pin.
Tensor is also nothing to write home about. Snapdragon is just the better chip.
Overall I struggle to recommend a Pixel based on my experience.
Going to try Nothing for a change. Nothing to lose :p@stoogethomas: Tensor is good for standard users. But if you game and do more than browsing you notice the phone struggling a bit. Missus and I both own the 7P. Now I'm deciding to either go Nothing Phone 3a Pro or Samsung since we now get the Snapdragon on the + models.
Agreed! I moved back to Samsung
Assuming no Australian warranty on Nothing if bought in Germany?
Of course not
Not much of a Bargain then
Have you had to return more than 1 in 8 phones under warranty?
@blighst: Agreed. Majority of the time, smart phones today are pretty reliable excluding battery (looking at you Apple). Out of all the smart phones I have bought over the past decade, I only ever had issues and phone returns on HTC Desire HD (manufacturing defect), HTC Velocity (manufacturing defect) and Samsung Galaxy W (POS in my opinion, slow and laggy and would randomly freeze)
This is sold through Amazon Australia via Amazon Germany and Fulfilled by Amazon Germany rather than 3rd party. In that regard, Amazon customer service has been good majority of the time. Had it been sold by a 3rd party, I wouldn't have bought it and would have waited for a sale in Australia to buy it.
Buy from Amazon.com.au website then.
I've had to fight up the ombudsman level once, but the result was 'bought from a .au? Covered by ACL' Amazon is still the 'shop front', who ships it is irrelevant.Gerry Harveys wholesalers aren't in AU most of the time either, but the storefront that sells it to you, covers the warranty.
Telling me who they're sourcing it from, doesn't change that.Amazon still has a return policy.
Will this even work here? How long till it's blocked by Telco?
Would be interesting to know if it's the same model as the one sold here locally (JB, etc.).
850 at JB night be a safer option
How does it compare to iPhone 16e
I go the 3a and can recommend it. From what I can tell the 3a Pro is pretty much the same apart from the camera
false, the pro is better.
How? According to Nothing's website, the camera and the build design are the only differences.
Camera is the main difference, but Pro has esim and 3a doesn't. May be a deal breaker for some. For me at least, I use esim so I bought the Pro. Will arrive in a couple of weeks time, can't wait
Esim too only on the pro model
pixel 9a supported by 7 years OS & security updates till 2032
what about nothing phone ?
From their Australian website:
Nothing OS 3.1 powered by Android 15Software support
3 years of Android updates
6 years of security patchesWho cares about 7 years OS updates, why they wasting resources like that lol
Phone will be degraded and obsolete by then
Think the pixel 8 pro to be a better purchase for the extra 100 bucks?
