@furBug: First indication was packaging, second error with storage, third was through software detection of card.

Looking at Viofo's website, they recommend only their own cards and the SanDisk Max Endurance. None of the Samsung ones appear to make the cut.
For what it's worth, my Samsung SD card lasted a year in my dashcam. So i'll be going max endurance.
