To celebrate Global Close Your Rings Day, customers can obtain a special pin inspired by the award. Customers can pick up a pin at Apple Store locations worldwide starting April 24, while supplies last.

(Maybe call the store to save you a trip in case already out of stock)

As per the reddit mod note: there is no requirement to close the fitness rings to get the pin, that was only to get the digital bonuses - further backed up by this article by 9 to 5 mac

      You don’t need to have closed the rings for the pin.

      It’s only for the digital award , and some iMessage stickers. There was a time where I would have cared about the digital award (would religiously workout everyday to get the daily award but 1 day missed stuffs your streak so now I cbf)

      If they do require it, it'd be well worth buying one while you're there. Then, once you have the pin, just sell the watch on eBay* for as much as (or, for a double win, more than) it cost you!

      *don't forget to factor in eBay and PayPal fees

        It's the gradient strip from this deal, it's meant for a monitor, works will on desk also.

    I went on April 24, and I was shocked there was no sign about the pin, no sign about the 10th anniversary of the Apple Watch at all. I asked about the pin at around 1pm and apparently I was the 2nd person to ask for it!! I asked them why no sign or anything and the gist seems to be they only have a small drawer of them to give out anyway!
