Deals are OK but the RRP is massively inflated.

  • don't for get to do your U.S. tourist visa thing before going over there.

  • Thought I would add to this thread.
I think I have managed to secure a booking, invoice paid.

To clarify some of the questions above, the price is actually per cabin not per person. Making this deal 2x better than what you first think.

    Thanks OP

    • +2

I was quoted double the price above for 2 people so assumed it is per person.
      How did you manage that?

      • +1

Really not sure, judging by the comments Luxury escapes might not have a clue what they are doing and it's just down the human error.

I just did pretty much exactly what OP said, and specified friends of Luxury escapes deal.

        • Can you share what your cost was and for which trip please? Two people?

          • +1

@jumpingwillow: Alaskan Cruise 2 people Balcony
            About $1350

            • @alphas: Lucky you, I was quoted per person rather than per cabin as well - didn't go for it

    • Did you get a base fair booking?
You can book this without the "perks" (drinks package etc). Will also need to pay Gratuities once boarded.
But for the non drinkers, it's a good option.

  • Quoted $3700 for balcony cabin for 2 people for hawaiian cruise.

Good but not great deal. $550 per night

    • No dice

    • That's very expensive!
Plus once you add air fare, it becomes insanely expensive.

  • +1

I was quoted $2322 for the Alaskan Cruise for 2 people - oceanview 30th August.

NCL EXCLUSIVE FAM&FRIENDS DEAL-BLISS OCEANVIEW Cabin / Twin share– sailing
    30aug25 A$2,322.00

  • Can someone please share a sample email which got a positive response.

    • +1

i just wrote in subject line that i want to book the friends rate.

Then in the email body i told them i wanted the honolulu cruise on 2 august in a balcony room and that was it

i got a return email a few hours later asking for my details, i will then send that in and they send me an invoice.

  • Wow! This is great value, especially the Eurporean cruise. One of these days I will be relatively free to go on holidays on short notice to take advantage of these deals.

  • how much per night is this eqv to?

  • +1

    Great post OP.

Making a comment for anybody curious about the status of their booking.

I got in fairly early yesterday requesting the European cruise. Only the inside cabin was available which I accepted. Then received an invoice for a single cabin twin share at AUD $2,502 (2 x $1,251). Invoice paid late yesterday afternoon.

Confirmation of payment received today at 6pm, with additional advice as follows:

"We are currently finalising enquiries and processing last-minute purchases from our remaining allocation.

The next step will be to complete your booking using the details provided for the cabin we’ve reserved for you. Due to high demand for this deal, we are working through all enquiries as quickly as possible.

We aim to begin sending individual confirmation emails starting next week."

    • are you able to choose and state your cabin preference? Like which deck etc"? Or it's totally auto assigned by the cruise line?

      • +1

It does not appear that you have a choice.

The first email I received when reaching out from this deal was quite long, and stated within:

Staterooms are on a ‘guarantee’ basis and will be allocated by the cruise line closer to sailing. Specific suite, deck and location requests cannot be accommodated.

Some staterooms may have obstructed views and/or porthole window.

Bookings will be non-refundable and non-changeable.

Once confirmed you will receive an email from us with your cruise confirmation email, along with your reservation number for your sailing, confirming your booking.

        • Yep, thanks for that. Sounded like it's luck of the draw, but if the price was per cabin (for two person), then fair enough. Already a steal for two people at the stated price (assuming it's not multiplied by 2 like others).

    • -2

$2,500 for 2 pax is expensive for the inside cabin unless you are going to drink heavily.

    • +2

Just received the same email from LE and hopefully booking confirmations arrive next week

I was a bit late to the party but still managed to get an ocean view on the September Hawaii cruise ~ $1500 for 2pax (assuming amex $100 credit for LE spend).

I think we'll add on the 20 night Celebrity cruise from Hawaii to Sydney a few days after this one (the only deal I can see on that cruise is "balcony for the price of ocean view")

  • Cracker of a first post if it pans out for people. Pity no flight deals to match up.

  • Got a Alaska cruise for $1317 on a balcony for two people and invoiced.

They confirmed the Europe one is sold out

  • Booked the Hawaii cruise for two for $1916 for a balcony cabin

  • Do these "Luxury Escapes friends and family" super deals also apply to Celebrity cruises?

  • Confirmed booking for Hawaii cruise - $1,447 inside cabin for two

    • +1

Do you mind me asking if this has actually been confirmed through NCL? I paid yesterday and like others have been told to wait for official confirmation

      • +1

Yes, they provided an NCL confirmation number on Saturday morning which I’ve been able to successfully use to register an account on NCL’s website and can see full details of my booking.

        • +2

Thanks so much - I hope that I am lucky enough to have it confirmed too. Having done this cruise before it has such great ports… And at this price is an absolute bargain!

  • I had paid and was asked to create LE account, have done that and reverted back to them. But no confirmation yet =/ hope it goes through. Anyone in the same boat?

    • +1

im on the same boat, paid (Thursday) but they havent asked me to create an account yet.

      • Alaska by any chance?

        • nop, Hawaii

      • +1

I got the email to create LE account today, looks like am a few days behind you

  • +2

I requested an Alaskan cruise on the 7th, paid on the 8th and got the NCL booking confirmation number yesterday afternoon on the 12th.

Logged into the NCL app yesterday, and the cruise booking was there. Happy days!

  • Has anyone else received a confirmation this week?

    • +2

Still waiting for Hawaii, October confirmation. Got my ETSA approved yesterday so that's something

    • Yes ,i sent an email asking when and it arrived that day

      • +1

        thanks, I will try that

    • I received my confirmation last night and was sent the NCL booking reference, still not able to log in to the NCL app with this but the email did say that it might take a few days

      • +1

Me too actually, once I emailed them they got back to me with the number

  • From Luxury Escapes yesterday 15th May (at the bottom of my payment email - Hawaii Sep 2025) "We are currently finalising enquiries and processing last-minute purchases from our remaining allocation. We aim to begin sending individual confirmation emails starting next week."

    • +1

I had a similar email 3 days ago "We are in the process of finalising bookings and will be in touch soon with your Cruise Booking Number."

    • Have you got your confirmation yet? Paid on 22nd so just trying to gauge if I should follow up

  • How long did you guys need to wait before you were able to add your reservation number to your NCL account? I've been waiting since Friday afternoon.

    • +1

Same here - confirmation number on Friday but haven’t been able to link to NCL as yet

    • As soon as I got the confirmation email, the cruise appeared in my NCL account. But I have sailed with NCL previously, so maybe that helped?

      • possibly, I'm still waiting, they did mention that "access to your booking may take a few days to successfully enter whilst NCL apply your payment to the booking, as this is done manually for every booking made during our frenzy offer". I keep trying to add it to my account multiple times a day

    • +1

Hi All, got an update, I contacted NCL on their live chat, someone who told me I had two accounts. I probably shouldn't have made an account before booking, but I wanted to see how much I could research. They merged them and I can now see my trip details.

Basically because I create an NCL account manually there was 2 accounts. So they merged them and now its all good.

      • +1

Thanks for that - I've just done the same, accounts have been merged and I can see the booking. yah!

        • when LE make the booking a new latitude account is created (but you aren't told what it is)
        • If you've already created an account (like me) then there will be a duplicate in the NCL system
        • A quick on line chat fixed it in about 2 minutes - they merge you accounts with the new account #
  • Hey guys, for anyone that is going on the NCL Bliss in Alaska: What kind of holiday did you guys plan around the cruise? Also - who did you fly with?

    • We are just flying into Seattle the day before on United from Sydney.
$1,249 or $1,395 choosing your own seats. Will fly out the Saturday night the cruise gets in.

We were actually planning a much longer trip to Alaska for 2026, but couldn't say no to this deal!

      • We're in the same boat, couldn't say no to the deal! We were originally planning to go to Bali but this deal came up. Coincidently, we'll be on the same return leg of United from Seattle. Our plan is to go a week before the cruise and spend some time in the Canadian Rockies - turned out to be a not so cheap holiday after booking the accommodation in Canmore and the flights between LA, Calgary and Seattle.

It'll be our first ever cruise and I found the cruisecritic forums as a good resource for information.

If I hear an Aussie accent on the cruise i'll ask "Thomdom?" Haha!

      • Same here!! Hope this is as good as it was advertised haha. It has been a bucket list for so long so we had to do it!
