For the same build as the Gala or nebula deals I'm getting $3200/3400 for a 7800x3d/5070ti bare minimum build. You're about $500 too expensive even after the current discount.

    • +7

That's their markup from buying from Gala and just forwarding the package.

  • Hi can i byo parts?

  • +4

Discounted assembly isn't a bargain if the parts are all overpriced

Gaming PC offers are pretty competitve here, can you match, or better, any of the current offers on OzB from TechFast, Nebula or Gala? If so, please post an example deal.

I would avoid this company at all costs.

Just looking at their warranty section. Seems they need to refresh themselves with Australian Consumer Law.

Items must be in their original packaging, all the original boxes must be intact and included,

Absolutely not! Australian Consumer Law does not require the original packaging for warranty nor Australian Consumer Guarantee.

We bear both ways shipping costs if the product has a major fault, was dead on arrival or we sent out the wrong product within 12 days of the delivery. Both ways shipping includes delivery of the faulty item/s from the customer to us and delivery of replaced item from us back to the customer.

Nope, that is the law. Not something they are offering.

UMKLOGIX will decide and advise the customer if the faulty product will be replaced or refunded.

Nope, Australian Consumer Law gives the customer the right to choose replacement, repair, or refund.

For warranty claims after 12 days of product delivery, the item cannot be refunded.

    Breach of Australian Consumer Law.

The decision of whether to exchange/replace or repair the faulty product/s will depend on the vendors, manufacturers, and dealers that we work with or are involved in the supply process of the products.

Breach of Australian Consumer Law. The customer can choose to negotiate with either the retailer or the distributor. The distributor CANNOT refer the customer to deal with the vendors, manufacturers, and dealers.

The customer will be responsible for the costs and safe delivery of the faulty product to the address advised by UMKLOGIX.

Breach of Australian Consumer Law. Retailer is responsible for warranty shipping.

we may attempt to solve the problem online or at least confirm the problem online through a remote connection and desktop sharing services and through the phone, video link (FaceTime, Skype, etc.), and text communications (Email, SMS, etc.)

Not even going to comment on this.

We may ask our customers to make some minor physical adjustments to the products if needed.

    Or this

The decision to refund, repair or replace a faulty PC is at the sole discretion of UMKLOGIX.

Wrong. For a major fault that is the customers decision under Australian Consumer Law.

Customers/users must use Surge Protector in order to be eligible for a warranty.

    Wrong

You’re not wrong, but you’re conflating manufacturer’s warranty with ACL guarantee coverage. They’re not the same thing, and don’t have the same terms or conditions.

  • +3

I'm not seeing any bargains compared to what's already posted on Ozbargain?

  • +5

More expensive than competition and gross breaches of ACL, nope.

  • +2

Yikes, ever heard of the ACL? This is egregious.

  • Can they assemble a laptop?

  • So what is the deal?

  • Sorry about the disappointment and thanks for your feedback. Just added this line to the terms and conditions -> In the event of any inconsistency, Australian Consumer Law prevails over the terms and conditions outlined herein. Also did a few quick fixes but will get all the terms reviewed soon.

Regardless of what's mentioned in T&C, all the warranty requests have been fulfilled as per the customers satisfaction, hence no negative review so far.

  • This business is fairly new to OzBargain and hopefully we'll learn the art of posting good deals here soon.

These would be the deals you would be in competition with at that price…
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/904902 7800x3d 5090 $5188
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/904882 7800x3d 5080 $3188
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/905873 7800x3d 5080 $2998

These deals are "cheaper" however they are using less expensive parts aside from the CPU GPU, if i was you i would be trying to get as close to those prices if not beat them and then build your brand from there and then you could increase prices. You could still include most parts as upgrade options as this is where the other companies tend to charge more than retail, you could potentially be a point of difference on OZB by offering upgrades at good pricing. Listing all your parts using pcpartpicker as the others do would also be an idea.
