This post contains affiliate links. OzBargain might earn commissions when you click through and make purchases. Please see this page for more information.

Only until before midnight today May 20 through TopCashback 40% and purchase from Temu.

Nintendo Switch OLED from Temu is $449.68 in my browser (choose Neon Blue/Neon Red colour). There's 40% Topcashback promotion for Temu. GST is excluded. So after cashback 40%, the total cost will be around $287.79 🤷

If interested, login Topcashback first, then click Temu link in TopCashback. Search Nintendo Switch. Only 1 seller that sells Nintendo Switch OLED version only. This is not region locked. In previous Temu 40% cashback, 1 Ozbargainer informed about purchasing this Nintendo Switch OLED from Temu with 40% Topcashback. It's legit, not fake.

For me, usually I use a mobile browser to login Topcashback and Paypal first, then open Temu link in TopCashback. I searched Nintendo Switch, then added it to cart and pay straightaway. Done

  • Temu link?

    • Click "Go to Deal" from Ozb top right side. It will open Topcashback with Temu link. Then search inside Temu: Nintendo Switch. Only 1 seller anyway.

      • It didn’t popup when I searched on Temu earlier, and I did sort it by high to lowest. All good anyway, the mods edited your link

  • What's the cheapest ot has been and is it worth it? Unsure how relaible to cashback is with temu

    • Don't worry. If tracking failed, claim missing cashback. After few months, the cashback will appear and can be withdrawn.

    • If you use android phone/tablet, use Chrome mobile browser to open Topcashback and Paypal in the browser. Or just use Topcashback app to open Temu link. But don't open Temu app. Better uninstall Temu app if installed already to make sure you won't open Temu app.

If you use iPhone, you can also use Topcashback app.

You can change certain settings before using any cashback through a browser. Read my tips to change settings in different devices (android, ipad, etc.) here:

It can be shipped to my address in Sydney 🤷

    • Not region locked, no worries.

There's fewer things I'd trust less than a Nintendo Switch from Temu and attempting 40% cash back

It's legit, not fake. Confirmed above from someone that bought it in previous Temu deal.

My transaction for this didn't track. TA (Topcashback rep) has replied to me that I don't need to worry. Just need to be patient but it will be resolved :)

In the past, my missing Temu cashback transactions had been resolved by Topcashback :D

I purchased shoes from Temu on that same day with Nintendo Switch and tracked successfully …

      • I've got about a 30% success rate with Temu cash back. Hope yours works out

  • Warranty will be an issue

    • The total cost will be much cheaper around $287.79 after cashback. Maybe if not used and still sealed, we could sell it for profit 😉

      • Had to break it to you but Nintendo doesn't come usually "sealed" of course getting from overseas may come with overseas distributor's "seal".

    I thought nitendo 2

    • Switch 2 is around $700 without game bundle … Wanna wait for the next 40% Cashback for Switch 2 if available and the seller has it?

  • I assume price drops next month w/ switch 2

    • -1

Not much maybe when I read what happened with previous Switch non OLED

  • Why?

    • Under $300 for OLED after cashback and longer battery life than Switch 2 (no OLED yet) 🤷

I don't want to pay above $500 for game console …

      • 8 yr old console.

Will be irrrelevant in a year or so when worthy releases dry up.

Switch 2 includes switch 1 BC

        • -2

Switch OLED was released in October 2021.

          • +1

@neoleo: You know what I meant.

May as well buy second hand at this point.
            But you do you

            • -3

@YoursTruly: Second hand may have problem with battery life and the buttons maybe.

        • -3

I think I'll use a modded chip service in NSW for $170 to get free unlimited games 😉

I don't really need the latest games for Switch 2. Switch OLED has better screen, better battery life and more portable than Switch 2. Switch 2 needs much faster memory card …

Later I need a better deal for a big memory card like 512 GB or 1 TB … So I can put a lot of free games 🤷

          • @neoleo: Lol $170 for someone to install a $5 chip into your switch is wild work.
            Overpriced as hell.

            • @Originality: If you're just after pirated games, a MiG Switch is like 70 odd bucks on sale, and you can always airplane mode & factory reset when you're done too. Can't necessarily get every game, but it's cheaper, easier, and there's no hardware modding required.

Mind you we paid 100 or 150 odd twenty years ago to chip the PS2, so eh

              • @TheDukeOfNukem: No modded is miles better agree a bit expensive for me I will wait for the mod cost drop to $100

              • @TheDukeOfNukem: You mean if you want to play backups of the games you legally own. (wink wink)

(I don't think we're allowed to encourage piracy on ozb btw. So I'm trying to steer to safer waters)

              • @TheDukeOfNukem: Is the MiG something I could get for my 6 year old son? Looking for something usable out of the box with no connectivity at all but a wide range of games and will last a while - reasonable quality? Pref with minecraft.

                • @Appleboat: Short answer, yes.
Long answer, I'll send later when I'm not on my phone typing quietly as the baby is falling asleep.

But definitely yes. And Minecraft is fine on it, it's my 9 year old's most played game too.

                • @Appleboat: Won't let me edit it because I've been too long, but slightly longer answer,

The MiG can play backups or copies or however you want to phrase it so your comment doesn't get deleted, but you know what I mean. It can play those fine, BUT it specifically mimics physical game cards. So you can play any and every physical game you can get your hand on and backup (or download from elsewhere), but in terms of digital games, you're out of luck. So you can download and emulate digital games on your computer or phone or whatever, but they can't be copied to a MiG Switch, so you're limited to physical only games. Fortunately, there's hundreds if not thousands of games there, including Minecraft.

                  BUT

Going online runs the risk of getting your account and or console banned from connecting online and all that jazz. So if your kiddo wants to play Minecraft online with friends, I wouldn't recommend the MiG. Supposedly with a modded unit you can play online, I don't know, I never did a mod and I only got the MiG a couple months back on a whim while it was on sale. But connecting online with the MiG is not advisable, most say not to do it at all, and if you do, then to restore your whole system (which will wipe your saves unfortunately) before doing so. For me, I haven't used my Switch Lite in years so I threw it onto airplane mode and have been replaying some of the earlier Switch games I traded years ago and refuse to rebuy, in prep for the Switch 2. If your boy doesn't care about online and is happy to play offline, then yeah, the MiG is pretty sick and Minecraft is 40 odd bucks on it's own so you're already more than halfway there just on that one.

I haven't personally updated ANY games I've played with it, because I'm in flight mode and frankly I don't want to waste the limited storage space I have (I have a 128gb card in the Switch itself more or less loaded with official digital games I downloaded before airplane mode-ing, and a 200gb in the MiG), so I can't comment on how you'd go with updates and whatnot, apparently it is doable but I don't know personally.

The only thing to really remember though, is even if you're okay with only having access to physical games, a lot of Switch games don't include the whole game on disc. So let's say you buy something like the Spyro trilogy, that only has a few levels from each game. Assassin's Creed Ezio three pack, only the first game is on the cart, etc. so I'd maybe make a list, see the kinds of games he wants, see how many you can realistically get versus how much you could get them on sale, etc. and see if it's worth it. For me, no brainer, even a single Mario game costs more (full RRP anyway) than I paid for my MiG.

                  • @TheDukeOfNukem: Thanks appreciate the full detail, I’ll do some research on that unit. Cheers

          • @neoleo: Agree. Mod is the way

          • @neoleo: Yep switch 1 game library is enough for a human lifetime

        • 8 year old console means 8 years worth of games to catch up on. I only bought my Switch OLED last year. I've been playing Zelda, Pokemon, Mario… I'll be playing it well into the lifetime of the Switch 2.

If the joy con drifts, would Nintendo AU repair it for free?

    • I haven't checked about this, but if I remember correctly about the news I read, maybe Switch 2 has the same problem …

    • They repaired mine out of warranty… so my guess is yes, but unsure

      • Nintendo fixed mine for free, no questions asked. Hopefully they've solved the joycon drift with NS2, however they did not move to hall-effect joysticks so there's still a risk of issues. Apparently magnets impact hall effect joysticks, given the magnets in the NS2, this could be a reason they didn't move to hall-effect (and possibly cost too).

    • No they won’t.
Even if everything in this deal is 100% legit, Nintendo AU won’t repair stick drift for free. Source: I’ve tried - they do not admit stick drift is a real fault.

They’ll sting you $50/joycon to ‘refurb’ them. At which point you may as well buy a new set or buy parts from AliExpress for $10 and do it yourself.

      • +1

Not to dispute your experience, I would take them to ACCC, that's unacceptable, it's a known global fault.

    • Sorry, I'm asking this because this item is imported from overseas. I know Nintendo AU would repair AU models for free. But would they repair models from overseas for free?

Nintendo and Nvidia are two companies I have stayed away from for decades and haven't regretted it.

    • have you seen Nvidia shares, through the roof and splits 1 to 10?

  • Has anyone's tracked yet?

    • Nope … I guess Temu deliberately avoids to confirm cashback tracking for certain goods like electronics and other high value goods. Maybe I'll claim missing cashback on weekend.

I had 2 transactions on that day. The first transaction (running shoes) has been tracked successfully, while nothing for this second transaction …

      • Fingers crossed. Mines already shipped so hopefully we will find out soon!

        • Btw, in previous same Topcashback promotion, 1 Ozbargainer confirmed successful tracking for this transaction.

Free return if still unopened or damaged goods … Or claim missing cashback …

I have claimed missing cashback. No worries. Just need to wait maybe around 3 months …

  • Mine has arrived but I won't be opening so I can return if need be. We get a 90 day window from this seller so my cashback claim from TopCashBack has been submitted, lets see how long they take to process…

    • Mine hasn't arrived yet, already picked up by custom clearance company.

Cashback claim for Temu could be >3 months based on my previous experience.

      • To be fair, the box isn't sealed so I could open it (they've inserted the adapter), but i'm keeping it pristine condition until I know an outcome (or have no outcome) from the cashback claim. I'll start returning in around 80 days if it doesn't come through. I've been screwed by Shopback on big cashbacks before (so refuse to use them at all now), Topcashback seems better but this is my first larger claim (and Cashrewards hasn't been a problem in the past for me either either).

I just got this delivered yesterday with iMile delivery (out for delivery since May 29, but just received it yesterday). I got this along with running shoes that I bought in the same day.

    @McMaferMur @CodeXD @BargainsGrabber @michael9865

This deal is back again ;)

    • Still can’t ship to my address lol, but thanks for the ping

      • How about sending to a different address, Aus Post address maybe? Need ID to collect.

        • Tried that too, didn’t work. I guess no love for Canberra

          • @BargainsGrabber: Do you have family/friends in other cities that could help sending it to your address after delivered? For example, send it to Sydney then to your address in Canberra through Aus Post.

      • Happy for you to send it to my address, cheers.

    • Hmm… i still have my unpatched and i dont play in handheld so…. pass…

      • i dont play in handheld

Anyone can play it with a TV. HDMI cable and docking are included in the box.

        • i know man sorry i meant i dont need to see that pretty oled as i look at my tv like 99% of the time

          • @McMaferMur: Any cheaper providers for mod chip service in Sydney? I haven't found cheaper than $170 for OLED. I think $170 amount came from USD 100 standard fee for mod chip service 🤷

            • @neoleo: no idea sorry. i think you better ask in reddit or facebook group. oh whirlpool too

    • Thanks for the ping, but I'll stick to my unpatched haha

      • hey you copied my sentence! kidding.. cheers
