The Antec PSU is good in that price range. It has 849.6W on the +12V rail and an additional 100W for the +3.3V and +5V rail's

The only thing making this "not the worlds fastest gaming PC" is it having a RTX5080 and not a RTX5090 but at this price you couldn't even buy a RTX5090 on its own :)

  • +1

Looks like a good value to me. If you're after a 5080 then sub $2k is a good deal for that.

  • +1

Is it just me or does the link make you build/add everything?
Parts aren't coming up as pre-built/pre-added?

    • Same. I can't even get the PC build onto the cart itself after adding all the PC parts that is required for PC itself to work

  • +1

    …NT excluded :(

  • +5

Looks good value if you're keen on a fully built, personally waiting for a GPU-less build I can slap a older card in because these [profanity] GPU prices

    • Same

    • Yep I've still got a 3070 in my otherwise new build from the Nebula BYO GPU deal - unfortunately code has expired. Hopefully they will do another batch.

  • +4

Some issues i pointed out on a previous post have been addressed.
That gives a big tick of approval.
Plus, this deal is reasonably good value.

Would be interested in hearing feedback if anyone here buys a system.

Do you guys offer these PCs unassembled by any chance?

    • +2

      Bruh.

    • Sent them an email. They said they can send the parts separately. Just need to leave it in the comments at checkout. Not sure what the neg and helpful comment above is for.

  • I'm looking for a "not top of the range, but best possible value for money" build to run my Golf Simulator. This is probably overkill, but I kind of want to future-proof it a bit too. Can anyone see any issues with the below for $4,354? Or would I be better off grabbing something for half this price, then refreshing in 5 years time for roughly the same price again?

Any help / thoughts would be greatly appreciated….

Make sure you do lots of research on the liquid cooler that you are choosing if you really want to go down that path. I went with a techfast build and they chose an MSI liquid cooler that is absolute trash. Its my biggest regret. Basically, cheapo liquid coolers, even by reputable brands are just junk, in many cases they don't perform as good as cheaper decent air coolers and the pumps dont last very long.

      • Thanks for the input on that, I had absolutely no idea. I may just slide back to one of the better air coolers.

        Cheers!

        • To add on to that, you could choose the cheapest cooler option (stock cooler if they'll let you) on the site and buy a thermalright PS120SE for $50 and swap it out yourself. Then just sell the included cooler on marketplace.
BIt of effort but thermalright has the market by the balls for price to performance.

      Some issues with your choices:

      Major issue: B840 mobo
Minor issues: 6000C40 64GB RAM, Liquid cooler, System

      B840 motherboard is renamed A620, doesn't suit 9800X3D.
Make sure you need 64GB RAM or better go for 2x16GB or 2x24GB. 6000C40 is not good on latency but should be enough for your use.
Recommend use air cooler instead which is enough for the CPU.
Paying this much for a system drive is too much.

      Suggestions:
Don't buy extra peripherals like mouse, keyboard, or surge protector, at any PC pre-builder. They are usually more expensive.
Don't buy your config here. You can find much better choices on other places under the same price. Almost all the components have better substitution if you could buy elsewhere.

  • Hi please excuse question from a noob. I see these gaming PCs do not have Windows built in. If I were to add Win11 the price increases by around $150. But if I google for a Win11 license it's less than <$30, some OEM Home versions are even single dollar digit. Why is that? And can I get the PC, then try and install Win11 by myself by getting these OEM Window key? Any help will be great, thank you.

  • Why is there a pic of completely different PC?
    White Build
    Premium case
    Rog Strix
    Liquid CPU Cooler
    4 RAM slots used

all of the companies do it on here, took me about a month of checking OZB sales to realise the picture is not the offer but rather the upgraded model.

  • Anyone successfully added the build specified in their cart? its failed for me after adding all the mandatory items.

    • Please check all the parts with * are selected which includes

      1 - SELECT CASE
      2 - SELECT CPU
      3 - SELECT CPU COOLER
      4 - SELECT MOTHERBOARD
      6 - SELECT RAM
      7 - SELECT PRIMARY STORAGE - FAST M.2 SSD
      9 - SELECT POWER SUPPLY
      13 - SELECT OPERATING SYSTEM
      19 - SELECT PC WARRANTY

If you are still finding issues, please send a screenshot to [email protected]

      Thanks

Seems to be a bug with adding the build using the link at the bottom of the page, I had the same issue.

If you add everything and then scroll up a bit until the "Add to Cart" button pops up on the LEFT of the parts, that button will work.
Also worked for me on Chrome as an alternative option

  • I would like to utilise this build service; how/is it possible to have the rig shipped without a gpu. I am sitting on a 7900 xtx
