        • How did you do it? I called and said they couldn’t do it because they don’t have the part number from Coles website.

      • Just called in their phone and said they wouldn’t be able to do it as well because they need the code from the website. They said it should be on their website and not just on weekly catalogue.

        • Thats so odd. It actually says on their website

          1. Record the price - This can be a catalogue clipping, screenshot on your phone, webpage or similar.

I was just down at my local coles (2164) and was able to find quite a few.

@Ding22: Thanks for that. If I had the info I may have pushed the helpdesk on the phone, I just gave up and went to my local Coles to buy one.

I rang 1300 OFFICE (633 423) and confirmed that they had price matched for me to $189. Earlier I popped into OW Canning Vale, WA and the store manager rejected my request, saying if they do price match on SIM, the competitor needs to have the exact same SIM expiry date as them.

          • @imkenz: I called the 1300 number and they would not price match - they said they needed to see the barcode number of the coles product to confirm it was the same. Tossers.

    • Are you guys able to upload a receipt?

    • Well thats a joke.

    • Dman i left too late, out of stock and too late to price marmtch

  • Checked a store nearby but no luck. Anyone know if there's any stock in Sydney City area please?

    • Which store was this?

      • broadway, checked last night, no stock

  • Is anyone using Optus Prepaid with iPhone? Does prepaid support Visual and Live voicemail?

I just bought two SIM for the family but all the info on the web seems to be old, and AI says might not be available on Optus Prepaid.

not for prepaid users but that irrelevant now due to Apple Live Voicemail function it takes over voice mail now and works in the same way

      • Ah so the same experience? With the list of messages left and live transcription while sending it to “voicemail”?

        • +1

          yeah correct

    • No, it does not support visual voicemail but live voicemail works.
I needed to manually send the call to voicemail for it to work but

  • Bought one yesterday. ( Optus sim)

Was looking @ Vodafone prepaid as their coverage is much improved in my regional area since the sharing arrangement with Optus,
Vodafone is currently the same price.

    20Gb extra

  • Picked one up for $189 same as OW pricematch, was prompted at Coles self checkout kiosk to use 2000 Flybuy points to take $10 off so used that to get to $189.

I wanted to pay more with converted Flybuys Dollars as I had a lot more points, but confirmed via Flybuys chat session that you cannot do that as SIM cards are treated as Gift Cards so Flybuys Dollars are not eligible to redeem against SIM packs. Which makes the 2000pts/$10 off at the checkout kiosk all the more curious…

but you can use flybuys dollars to pay for sim cards at office works :) ive done it

      • I think your milage varies from store to store (staff to staff)… I tried to pricematch in-store and their system couldn't do it though you can via phone per other comments above, but was also told I could not use Flybuys to pay for gift cards which SIM packs are considered as same as Coles… no consistency just the usual OW pain ;)

    • Dman gonna do this next time, any idea when the deal comes back again?

      • unknown… though it is EOFY so something similar may or may not come back before June 30th, I'd grab tonight while you can.

        • +1

          Thanks too late for me

  • Any idea as to how long this deal lasts?

Also assume this has a 12 month expiry?

    • +1

Deal lasts until your local Coles closes tonight usually 10/11pm, some stores are 24hrs but given the new catalogue is out which starts tomorrow and there are no deals for this particular pack I'm going to assume it will finish at 11:59pm for the 24hr stores and normal closing times for the rest.

Pack has a 12 month expiry on the shelf, however once you buy this pack its activated at checkout and then you have to activate the SIM within 30 days of purchase.

Thanks. Hipefully some other EOFY deals pop up before next friday
